I had a twelve string when I was kid, back in the early seventies. It was a Decca. It was like trying to play a cheese grater. Even when I tuned it down. I smashed it.

Think it means rather than having octaves on the 12-string's courses they've got fifths?

They need to make some sales. I'm worried for them. I want them to stay open. I've been there probably 15 times, and I never remember anyone actually buying a guitar. Even me. i REGRET NOT buying a Gordon Lightfoot 1966 Gibson 12-string that I saw on the wall back in 2001, priced at $600.....grrrrr.....they're now fetching $4,500....IF you can find them.......grrrrr.....My next guitar is gonna be bought at Norm's, no doubt. My next one is going to be a Martin 6 of some variety, haven't narrowed it down. D-18 or a D-28...

Sullivan is almost never acknowledged as the co-writer of "Eye of The Tiger," only Peterick. I wonder if there is bad blood between them.

Frankie Sullivan isn't listed as a Co-writer for either of those 38 special songs. Jim Peterik has the writing credit with members of 38 Special. No mention of Frankie Sullivan. Jim Peterik was the real musical genius behind all of those and Survivors hits.
Frankie is phenomenal. Understating his talent almost criminal!
It's more criminal Frankie is taking credit for something he had nothing to do with. Norm is mistaken. Frankie had nothing to do with writing Hold on Loosely or Caught up in You. It was only Peterik and two members of 38 Special. In fact, Frankie and the rest of Survivor gave Peterik so much shit for writing with other artists. Go read Jim Peteriks book.
Listen to Jim Peterik's album "The Songs" and Frankie's part in the Survivor songwriting duo should become instantly clear.
