They do, they’re listed to come in the deck on amazon. The Bloomburrow precons all say the same with including a borderless legendary foil, alongside a third legendary foil for those precons specifically
-… only spend it to cast an outlaw creature -…only spend it if a land was put into a graveyard -… only spend it for a spell you dont own - only spend it, if you have drawn your second card this turn 😂
I will forever be referring to the precons from now on as: Desert Bloom: Rootin Most Wanted: Tootin Grand Larceny: Lootin Quick Draw: Shootin And the one I'm looking forward to us the Tootin deck specifically.
Wild guess but I think that storm card is the one that created sand warriors! Probably not because storm would be the izzet deck but imagine the flavor of a sandstorm
Nashi is my favorite mtg character, so him appearing in the Gonti deck, maybe as the ninjutsu card, is all I want to be extremely happy with these precons. It’d be so messed up if he didn’t get any new card but Obeka did in the main set
I’m so hyped for the gonti deck so I’m trying to figure out cards for that The ninja has to be in Gonti, the for each time you’ve cast your commander card is probably for Yuma but considering the heat theft gets I wouldn’t be surprised if it was actually a Gonti card, both black cards only work for Olivia and Gonti but I think the board wipe would probably go to him, the 2 drop Tap 2 is probably Gonti and it’s just that the tap 2 only works for exiled/other ppls spells
God I cannot wait for the Yuma deck, I love lands matter decks, RWG decks, cowboys, and a trans guy at the head? This is such an awesome product for me specifically

Damn, I was really hoping for a new Leovold as backup commander fo grand Larceny deck (a non-broken version this time), since both Marchesa and Selvala are in the set. I will continue hoping to see him again
for me the hints don't give me hype, but the artworks do because it makes me imagine what the card could do (but maybe it's my custom cards design mind talking)
The 8 mana black sweeper has got to be something like "destroy all creatures on the battlefield, then for each opponent summon one creature from their graveyard!" For the gonti precon ofc
Probable blue odyssey rares if its for Gonti (which imma assume it is) Cultural exchange (i can see it being printed as is but with a slight cost reduction) Extract (could let you cast it from exile like Praetors grasp) Persuasion (again just cost reduction is probably the way or maybe make it unblockable)
The Ninjutsu card has to be Nashi and I just want to say that I’m disappointed it wasn’t in the main set. Nashi is my fave character, but I don’t want to buy a precon. Sucks that Obeka had like two paragraphs in his story and she got a main set card. :/
I feel like the best commanders might be the izzet one and Olivia generically. But Sultai Steal and Desert/landfill Naya seem a lot cooler. Might even be the bigger pushes out of the 4 too
8 Mana Black Sweeper that says "for each creature an opponent controls that was destroyed this way, exile cards from the top of their deck until they exile a nonland card. You may cast those cards without paying their mana costs."
My guess for the backup sultai commander would be something like: "Whenever a opponent casts a creature you may pay X where X is that spell's mana value. If you do, make a copy of that spell"
Love it! Did SGC Commander do better in the last deck reveal they did cause i know, i think it was lost caverns, that they revealed a deck and people were upset cause their showcase was absolutely terrible. Honestly surprised they keep getting selected after that one.
Hello Gavin, thank you for your work, a product you design often has something original, creative, and I thank you for that. (Firkraag is my favorite commander deck, thank you !) Now about these commander decks, in my opinion, from my perspective, they do not feel special nor original. Instead of just saying this and leaving, I would like to explain. We have : An Izzet deck copying spells if we cast multiple spells in one turn, A tribal deck giving treasures when those creatures connect, with and a buffing ability, A deck lead by a 5 mana commander "I can cast a card per turn from your deck" in dimir + green, A deck caring about lands in the graveyard and creating creature tokens with Deserts, just like the 2 Hazezon we have since forever. I do not know what old cards Cory Bowen put in the decks, however, I am not looking for hidden gems for synergies when I spend 45 dollars (minimum) on a precon, not playable against anything else than other precons. I am looking for inovation, creativity mostly. And also cards reprinted so that more people can play these game pieces. However these precons, as I listed them, look like rehashes. They do not seem to bring anything new, hence why I am not interested by them. I hope I have been as respectful as I want to be here. Well I also hope the feedback was useful, I know vaguely that the company is not in an ideal position, pushed to sell by a losing Hasbro, Magic incorporated greed and overproduction into its system. And now a lot of your workforce has departed, not because of a lack of money, but because, if I am right, you worked well last year, the irony. PS : I did built, create, a few cards of my own for fun, I might send them to you later this month, I hope you find them useful to your work ) Have a great day, from France, bye !
I wish Olivia cared more about committing crimes. I feel like it would have been more interesting than another treasure commander. Edit: Also really hope to see bounty counters in this set as well. It would have been the perfect place to focus on them a little more.
1:40 So the plan is to play a sorcery speed cantrip, an instant speed cantrip, impulse draw into another instant speed card, and then either copy the 2nd cantrip or maybe the instant speed card I topdecked? Cool. Oh, wait, no... you just want me to Plot cards. In commander. But there's no way you printed more than, say, 10 U or R plot cards, so the deck doesn't have enough cards to function.
3:01 Turn 0 Leyline of the Void. Do you concede now and we move on to game 2? It's almost like you've given up balancing graveyard hate and the nuclear option just makes fair graveyard cards terrible. Also, 4/2s? On a 6/6 human? So stats are all random and the points don't matter? Of all the things you could do with Desert Tribal, you thought "Nah, let's just waste people's time."
@@bondeulvHow many disenchant effects does this precon have? What, maybe 5? Because WOTC didn't bother to actually balance their game piece and gave it affinity for deserts in the graveyard, you can't play the game until you have a disenchant effect. Fun. The main set has a 6/5 for 2GG with two upsides. This couldn't have been a 4/4 or 5/5 for 2GR... and had an activated ability to sac a desert for a disenchant effect? And then giving you something... useful... when you sacked a desert? I mean, you get 1 land drop a turn, and there's only like 10 on color deserts, so you're not even going to be guaranteed to draw one in your opening hand. To be clear, "Desert Commander" was one on the wish list before seeing the actual commanders. And they gave me a sloppy one. I'm not asking for two 6/6s for 6... that's in the main set. All I'm asking for is a little desertfall action on a reasonably costed commander.
You know... I might wait on these. I think the last time you made a simple, elegant commander I was interested in building around day 1 was Anje Falkenrath; but nowadays not only are you jacking up the prices, but all of the decks just seem like the same deck released over and over again. Like maybe there's a Plot commander who gives cards you control Plot, but at best that's just another Prosper, Tome-Bound. Spree and Saddle (ugh) are inherently narrow, bad mechanics that can't reasonably be built around. Like, don't get me wrong, if your brought your A game and have unique, fun commanders and unique, fun decks you'll get my $40 - these still have an MSRP of $40 right? But I've never seen a set so absolutely devoid of flavor or desirable mechanics, and you've pretty much stopped printing good new cards in Commander Precons (except for those "oopsie, legacy staples"). Like maybe you have a RG Deserts-matter landfall deck? That'd be interesting. Or maybe a RB Mercenary commander who abuses the Masques Mercenary mechanic (and yeah, that's a lot of shuffling, so you won't do it). Or... uh... a Storm deck that works with plot? You see what I'm getting at, right? That your set is bereft of interesting designs and mechanics and commander decks have become so rote and formulaic that the thought you'd do anything remotely interesting is hard to believe. But you know what'd really get me to buy these now? If these were 5 2 color decks and you included 10 original monocolored partners (along with the relevant 2 color partner reprint so you could mix and match) that did something with the set's mechanics. A partner who cared about deserts. A partner who cared about mercenaries. A partner who cared about going on sprees. You know, cards players could build around. But you've raised the price on this product so much that stores won't buy a 5 pack of the product, so you do 4 packs and have 2 two color decks, and 1 messy three color decks. It's like a series of bad decisions have lead to bad results.
this set is a huge flavour fail. Because Mechanical stipulations of gold tokens being overpowered we can't have gold tokens anymore. Good job magic. You gave us a warning in unfinity with hat collector and we didn't believe you.
full art for the face commanders is an amazing choice, really cool.
For real, really hope that's something they carry on for the future.
Hopefully they come with the actual deck instead the full art versions just being in boosters like normal
They do, they’re listed to come in the deck on amazon. The Bloomburrow precons all say the same with including a borderless legendary foil, alongside a third legendary foil for those precons specifically
Hard agree. Love this
Wait, really? Dang, I was looking forward to getting the Gonti but I prefer normal borders on the commander...
Hint #2 "Add 2 mana, spend it only to cast spells you don't own?"(But correct wording). Would be really cool if that's true
My first guess too. Like, it's surely got to be a Green creature, and the Deserts deck is going to be way more about land ramp than a mana dork.
Yeah there is already 4 hint for the desert deck I think this mana dork is in the thief deck
Maybe untap it when you cast a spell you font own aswell? Just a thought but probably busted
-… only spend it to cast an outlaw creature
-…only spend it if a land was put into a graveyard
-… only spend it for a spell you dont own
- only spend it, if you have drawn your second card this turn
😂
My only regret is that these decks weren't named "Rootin'", "Tootin'", "Lootin'" and "Shootin'", respectively.
I will forever be referring to the precons from now on as:
Desert Bloom: Rootin
Most Wanted: Tootin
Grand Larceny: Lootin
Quick Draw: Shootin
And the one I'm looking forward to us the Tootin deck specifically.
LITTLE CACTUS BABY LESSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Wild guess but I think that storm card is the one that created sand warriors! Probably not because storm would be the izzet deck but imagine the flavor of a sandstorm
*Darude intensifies*
Since Nashi appears in the story, maybe he returns as the ninja with flashback based off his interaction with Obeca??
That would be so sick!!!
i 100% expected the twitter link to send me to Never Gonna Give You Up, and I'm pleasantly surprised
I'm a monster, but not THAT big of a monster
This came out today from the man himself. ruclips.net/user/shortsImBGocU_ojk?si=Wwpfg2jnutiMa_El
Nashi is my favorite mtg character, so him appearing in the Gonti deck, maybe as the ninjutsu card, is all I want to be extremely happy with these precons. It’d be so messed up if he didn’t get any new card but Obeka did in the main set
I’m so hyped for the gonti deck so I’m trying to figure out cards for that
The ninja has to be in Gonti, the for each time you’ve cast your commander card is probably for Yuma but considering the heat theft gets I wouldn’t be surprised if it was actually a Gonti card, both black cards only work for Olivia and Gonti but I think the board wipe would probably go to him, the 2 drop Tap 2 is probably Gonti and it’s just that the tap 2 only works for exiled/other ppls spells
Ref to Odyssey block blue rare: Spelljack from Judgement
In the Gonti deck, you will counter a spell and plot it for yourself
I reckon it's pedantic learning but in the desert deck
3:35 New Sand Warriors you say? As an OG Hazezon Tamar player, you have me interested.
God I cannot wait for the Yuma deck, I love lands matter decks, RWG decks, cowboys, and a trans guy at the head? This is such an awesome product for me specifically
a bit late, but my predictions
1) a card that cares about sand warriors is from the lands deck and is about reanimating lands as sand warrior creatures in addition to being a land
2) the card that taps for 2 mana will be for cards you do not own, but 2 mana of any color!
3) the storm card will be an izzet gold card that plots a card from your graveyard
4) the card that cares about command tower will be from the lands deck and let you search library or graveyard for it and put it into play
5) the sly reference to blue rare from oddesy i have 0 clue idk what even is from oddesy
6) the commanderstorm card will be from the outlaw deck and create some kind of outlaw and a treasure
7) rumbleweed is a new 3 mana uncommon mana rock that does something with deserts
8) 8 mana black board wipe from the stealing deck and leaves things you control but dont own
9) the creature land is a card in all 4 decks
10) the desert careing card is a burn spell
11) the monoblack enchant land turns a land into a desert
12) the ninja will be in the blue-red deck with ninjitsu and some variation of cast from exile (plot, foretell, adventure, etc)
Spelljack for the blue card reference. Stealing is a thing with Gonti.
Give us Ninjutsu and Splice on Arcane!
Damn, I was really hoping for a new Leovold as backup commander fo grand Larceny deck (a non-broken version this time), since both Marchesa and Selvala are in the set. I will continue hoping to see him again
I'm so happy for warlock support so hyped for it
for me the hints don't give me hype, but the artworks do because it makes me imagine what the card could do (but maybe it's my custom cards design mind talking)
I would love to see urabrask somehow show up in the outlaws deck. Ik it's impossible, but he was one of the based praetors
As someone who just recently built a Hazezon, Shaper of Sand deck, I'm very excited
The 8 mana black sweeper has got to be something like "destroy all creatures on the battlefield, then for each opponent summon one creature from their graveyard!" For the gonti precon ofc
I am going to guess the reference to Odyssey will be a colorshifted Pendantic Learning for the desert deck.
“tap for two mana, of if you have cast two or more spells than spell this turn”? maybe?
My guess for the blue rare from Odyssey block is battle of wits
Probable blue odyssey rares if its for Gonti (which imma assume it is)
Cultural exchange (i can see it being printed as is but with a slight cost reduction)
Extract (could let you cast it from exile like Praetors grasp)
Persuasion (again just cost reduction is probably the way or maybe make it unblockable)
The Ninjutsu card has to be Nashi and I just want to say that I’m disappointed it wasn’t in the main set.
Nashi is my fave character, but I don’t want to buy a precon.
Sucks that Obeka had like two paragraphs in his story and she got a main set card. :/
...buy him as a single?
I feel like the best commanders might be the izzet one and Olivia generically. But Sultai Steal and Desert/landfill Naya seem a lot cooler. Might even be the bigger pushes out of the 4 too
8 Mana Black Sweeper that says "for each creature an opponent controls that was destroyed this way, exile cards from the top of their deck until they exile a nonland card. You may cast those cards without paying their mana costs."
I'm gonna guess the "blue odyssey rare" will be a green colourshifted version of Pedantic Learning for the Yuma deck.
Really hope there's some normal borders for the commanders in the collectors boosters
I bet the new ninja ninjutsu riddle is something with a lasso :P, no?
And the land that can turn into a creature I bet is a giant cactus!
My guess for the backup sultai commander would be something like: "Whenever a opponent casts a creature you may pay X where X is that spell's mana value. If you do, make a copy of that spell"
I am really excited for the Most Wanted Pre con deck, I am so getting it and put some extra combat cards in it and some double strike cards in it.
Love it! Did SGC Commander do better in the last deck reveal they did cause i know, i think it was lost caverns, that they revealed a deck and people were upset cause their showcase was absolutely terrible. Honestly surprised they keep getting selected after that one.
My theory is each deck will have a big money card like LCOI, I hope we get either revel in riches or dockside extortionist in the most wanted deck
The black board wipe has got to be "destroy all non-outlaw creatures", potentially even with outlaw convoke.
Where’s Edgar?! He hasn’t been seen since escaping with olivia
They're on their honeymoon
All of these hints and all I could think of was: Horsemanship commander deck… confirmed?
YeeHaaw Gabin, Bring on the Storm and the Ooze
KIRRI YESSSSSSS I WAS HOPING THEY WOULD GET A CARD AFTER THE STORY
Is it a new Yuriko showing up again in a totally unrelated deck
That’d be incredible, I feel like it’ll be a new nashi tho
My shaper of sand deck is about to pop off.
Yours and mine both, I've been so excited to see new Deserts!

I guess the new ninjutsu card is Nashi
“One other returning ability, I think it’s a good guess, and might be in Gonti. But it doesn’t work, I also think it’s probably a new card.
That's a good guess. Nashi did get a story episode, which is often reserved for commander deck legends
I’m so confused we don’t have cardmarket or goldfish doing reveals? They’re way bigger after tolarian cc
#3 gotta be Sandstorm.
Ninja with desert walk would be hilarious
IM HERE FOR LITTLE CACTUS BABY
Hint 3 will be in the izzet deck, obviously.
Oh my god the baby cactus looks so cute 😁🤍
I have heard that all the art for the reprints is going to be new and match Thunder Junction. Is this true?????
I wish Olivia cared more about committing crimes. I feel like it would have been more interesting than another treasure commander.
Edit: Also really hope to see bounty counters in this set as well. It would have been the perfect place to focus on them a little more.
Cultural Exchange for the blue rare as Thunder junction is a melting pot.
oh Wait i think i just Solved it for #2
i think the mana dork can only be used to spend mana on spells..........you don't own
Wait wait wait! is that Cowboy Mimeoplasm!?
I thought that too but no it’s a new character entirely
I hope there are no April fools Day jokes in the video.
Thanks anyway for the video
I felt that all 3 decks presented their possible secondary commanders except Olivia's deck, could it be that we will see her husband around?
Cateran Summons reprint for the outlaw deck let’s goooooooo
Hey Gavin,do you know when the fallout secret lair comes out?
I need a little cactus baby playmat STAT
Command Power Plant for real? 🤔
If there is NOT a horsemanship card in this set, I'm gonna riot.
2:21 I think you're overestimating how much "fun" it is to mix up your cards with your opponent's.
3:46
Show me "Sand Storm."
Darude fans unite.
Wooo
Magic the Gathering positive!
The odyssey card has to be a take on terravore.

Horsemanship?
Bring vintage and legacy to arena
MKM and OTJ feel like a real insult to the audience's intelligence, arguably more so than Universes Beyond
You think us fools? XD
4/4/24
1:09 Oh, look, a grouping mechanic. A card that makes me attack multiple players. And a sorcery speed action. And 3 toughness. AND 3 colors? No.
3:01 Turn 0 Leyline of the Void. Do you concede now and we move on to game 2?
