I wish more releases had hobby lites, especially higher end stuff like this. This usually used to be my splurge release of the year, now it's just regular chrome and singles for the rest. But with the loaded chrome mega boxes, I would absolutely love megas of this for like $100/box.

So tempted! I am one of those folks that does no like borders. Partly why I love hunting good Topps NOW cards a they are borderless. The checklist is why I am tempted, so many great players. Very little "junk" here.

Another OUTSTANDING Stryker Breaks informative video. Like the look of the cards, like the look of the inserts and parallels, like the variety you get in each pack they're not all the same one after the other. I like being able to get 2 each of the inserts and parallels in each box. I agree for the price one has to pay for this you should get at least one auto of some kind whether it be base, insert and or parallel. Wish I could afford this, but it is way out of my price range dang it. Haven't been able to land any of this years Topps Chrome in my neck of the woods so I convinced my wife to let me by 3 Monster Boxes from Blow Out Cards hoping to get lucky with these boxes once they get here, got free shipping out of the deal. Supposed to arrive on Monday by UPS between 11 and 3:30 pm I believe the e-mail said. You and your family have a good, safe and blessed rest of yer day and week.
Why do so many newbs care about guaranteed autos? Why have 80% of autos be trash and inflate pricing?That is suppose to warrant the price tag, $1 autos? No, how about when you pull an auto it's worth your time and excitement...much better.
Set design looks great, Planetary pursuit is one of the best insert chases right with Stella Nova however no auto guaranteed for this price is a little too tough to swallow, great vid appreciate it helped me to figure out if I wanted to get in on these.
Beautiful cards but it's still no more then 30-40 bucks in value. I'll probably just stick to buying singles on this one. Topps is really channeling thier inner Panini on this release.
Saw Fanatics had a drop for $300 on this and thought I'd buy some. Then I started thinking for $50 more I can get a box of finest with 2 autos and tons of parallels and inserts. Would also rather buy more update. I do like the stars in the night inserts about the best of any insert I've seen though. I look forward to seeing more of these opened!

I just want to get my hands on a single card of one my favorite players. This is a nice set but I would never be able to justify this price for an opening. I commend the people who take that risk. I personally collect for the fun. Not the investment.
Did you find out what that white bordered card is exactly? I reminds me of the Panini Black Gold where they had the reverse cards that were the opposite color. Really clean looking set, autos being so absurdly rare do make it a hard sell to spend almost $500 on a hobby box and having a 25% chance at best of an auto. I get it - it’s supposed to be “exclusive” but that’s a lot of dough just for a shorter print run
My initial reaction was that, while I like this design, I like last year's design much more. The borders might be too thick, I'm not sure. But, it's still a nice set. I won't buy a box because there's too many other releases coming out now that I want more. I'll probably get some singles and whatever I can from breaks. Thanks for the entertaining video, Stryker! 👻

Just curious getting back into card collecting but how do you tell which refractor parallels you pull. Is there a picture gallery of the different ones I.e. white hole and etc. Not sure how to know which colors I pull. Thanks and enjoy your videos
The psychadelic topps finest design a couple months ago was gorgeous and bordleress. They were magnificent. These seem constrained, cartoony, and goofy in contrast. If I were to be derogatory I'd say this design is just neon Big League. Comsic should be borderless because the universe is borderless. I do like the inserts a whole lot though, on the plus side. /soapbox
The inserts are great and all, but a 1:3 chance of an auto for $300 (if you win the EQL) is just too steep for me. Not a big fan of the massive borders and just the last names on the front. Do agree it reminds me of 2021 flagship.
I’ll always be bias against any of these Topps chrome side products. To me, all they do is devalue each other and devalue topps chrome. Guys have too many rookie autos, from too many products, in my opinion.
This is why I only buy singles of my favorite players on eBay. No chance to hit big, but also I don’t get a bunch of base cards of players I don’t care about
How tough do you think it would be to get these cards to Gem? Worth buying singles and sending them in it better to just buy the already graded card(s)?

You buy this product for the high end inserts, not the autos. If you are looking for value autos Topps makes tons of other releases for you.

Thicc chrome borders gives me Bowman Chrome vibes for the base, but the parallels look good, and that’s what matters more I think.

The white bailey with a white uniform is just wow!!!!! Also as soon as I saw A Rod in Rangers uniform on checklist I was hooked.

Just buy the graded already, it’s always the cheaper/faster route. Tried the pack fresh from hobby box route and didn’t work as well for me
