What makes me so much prouder when they praise the composition of the song itself is the fact that Seventeen self-composes their songs. Like when i watch their reactions to other groups and they praise the composition im like 'yea good'' but when it's seventeen it means so much more because THE BOYS DID IT THEMSELVES YES IM HAPPY AND PROUD TO HEAR YOU SAY THEY DID IT WELL. Like when that guy pointed out "who knows how to make that shit?" and the other guy replied "these guys" then Umu said "Woozi and Hoshi". It's the boys (and Bumzu, our underappreciated hero) --they, themselves, created it and that's why i like hearing reviews about svt much more than other groups that i stan tbh.

The song is 'getting closer', when we listen to it we can feel the TENSION and the SUSPENSE in end signifies the result of the process of getting closer, whether they continue to grow closer or apart. this is random lol. love seventeen.
This reaction really emphasized how much the performance aspect of Kpop songs matters. The dance in Getting Closer compliments the song and adds another layer that you wouldn't get just by listening. I often feel like that's why some people can't get into Kpop or call it manufactured because they only hear songs or watch a produced music video but not the performances that really make or break a Kpop song.
