Thru should bring back a devision of piston boats again and add it to the new boat races. Hydroplanes are not at all marketed enough to be popular like they used to. Also more live music. Even make fun of other sports with sassy commercials.
Talk about memories!!!!! Jim Kropfeld would've been driving the Miss Bud, Chip Hanauer driving the Atlas Van Lines, Ron Synder driving that rear-cockpit Pay-n-Pak, and Tom D'Eath driving the Squire Shop.
Last time I saw Miss Budweiser was around 1981. My family was the oldest Anheuser Busch Distributor in the U.S. in W.Pa. & they brought it for a local festival along with the Budweiser Rocket Car.
Weirdly, one of my favorite things to look at is the churned up water still rolling over itself after a boat drives away. It’s always fascinated me for some reason.
Three Merlins and one Griffon, a symphony without bellowing announcers! Thanks so much for posting this!
If this was the Vintage Miss Rock, we'd still be watching the video! Man, I miss those boats. Never be the same...

Love the sound as much as watching them run.

Talk about a Hall of Fame line up of both Classic Boats and some of "The Best Drivers" ever! It's a beautiful thing to see!
Awesome!!! I love that these have been restored and are running. Great memories!

I used to go to the Tri City Washington to watch them race and I was the last guy to get the Miss Budweiser driver to get his autograph
Never understood why Bud went to an all red paint scheme-that gold was iconic
Gold paint is expensive 😅
That was my request of Anheuser Busch wanting all their sponsored vehicles solid red.

despite bernie little ( may he rest in peace ) this was 1 of my favorite boats....
This is awesome. Thanks for posting.
Currently called “Confused Budweiser”!
Love those and earlier vintage ones. Remember at Coeur d Alene. Jeez I'm old.
Fantastic!! Rolls Royce Merlins?
That things got two speeds. Stop and hold the fuck on lol
Very cool.............. 👍👍👍👍
Slower or not, I would WAY WAY rather watch these girls than the Kirby vacuum cleaners
Sorry but that would have been Dean Chenoweth driving the miss Bud in a open cockpit !! He died on the Columbia River July 31 82
Sounds like his alternator belt is slipping??🤣
