Can you tell me why you took the rails out? I plan on using then to mount cabinets etc. If your floor is not caving in there is no need to tear it out. Do all of your insulation and sealing on the underside.
Yea...hindsight. We did think about just leaving them in and working around them, but preferred having insulation inside and as much surface area covered with it as possible. I’d be curious to see a floor video done the way you’re suggesting though! Maybe we’ll try it on the next one. 😳
Mine hase rubber on the subfloor. Glued so well I had hard time getting it out. My wheel chair rail screws are all stripped out! I have to take out the rails to repair sub floor water damage... 😒
Happy New Year, Steve and Trish! That was painful to watch. Great job!
For us too. 😂
I feel your pain, been doing my rails now for 3 days straight probably got another 2 day then taking out heater
Sorry for grinders, I think you used the wrong metal disc
Perhaps! That’s the beauty of this type of project. You learn as you go. 🙌🏻

@@TeamRawlsTX Check out the Good News Bus. I'm pretty sure he did it that way.

I only have 2 rows of 14 bolts
I am just cutting slats in my floor insulation
