Thanks for making another video! I took your advice and got my front sway bar links on eBay. I didn’t have the connections to get them for free, but this was a lot cheaper than adjustable quick disconnects! I did run into one issue though. My bolt holes were larger. I snagged an 04 SOLID front sway bar from the bone yard. The solid front bar may have a larger bolt hole. I threw a rubber O-ring in there and that seems to have worked. The rear drop links came in the IRO kit.
I also want to thank you for the “two sets” of rims and tires advice! I plan on running 31 inch street oriented wheels to start with and getting an aggressive 32 inch set for when I gain more experience. JK rims can be found pretty cheap on marketplace!
Good advice. Many fail to realize many parts are interchangeable to fit needs or budget. My DubJay is 2WD and stock hight. I did put the larger sway bar from Iorn Rock on the back. Made a huge difference on in town driving, feels like it's on rails now. I just wish I could find better progressive springs to further smooth the ride out. Driving a Benz spoils one, just a bit. I put KYB mono tube on it, I could try a twin tube. But all the bushing look good, but may be tired after 248k. Still would like to lower 1" and some Overland wheels (stock honeycomb/spoke look, are a pain to keep clean). Haven't found the right springs yet.
Tyler, thanks for posting yet another informative video. Quick question regarding the RC lift in the rear. Do you use the coil spring isolator on the bottom with the RC spacer? If no isolator on the bottom, does the spring make noise? Thx.
That is a really good question, I have done it both ways and there is no noise either way. The instructions call for you to remove the rear lower isolator. I have found that if it is a V8 and you leave the isolator in the slight additional lift added makes the rear slightly higher than the front (normally) but if it is a 6cylinder and you keep the rear isolator in it seems to still sit pretty level. This white V8 in the video has the rear isolator removed per the instructions. Thanks for the view!
I would like to get a thicker rear sway bar, the factory is so micky mouse. do you know of a swop out ther or do I just go after market. thanks for the links ideas.
So only the rear JL links will work on the front of a wj? I can get both the rear and front links from a 2021 rubicon but from your info here only the rears will work. Thanks for your reply
Correct, the factory front JL links are really short. So factory rear JL links work great on the front of a WJ and factory rear Jeep Gladiator JT links work on the rear of a WJ.

Hey Tyler, the latest Jeep is coming along nicely!!! The new garage is looking great!!! Are you settled into the house yet?? 👍👍
Yes she has the house very settled now vs. my mess in the garage! Thanks for the view!
Can't wait to see the new wheels and tires on another TP cheap Jeep

Can I run this with a 2.5” lift

I think the only options that fit are just the few aftermarket larger bars. Thanks for the view!
