  • 2 Day E-Bikepacking Trip in West Virginia: The Ultimate Summer Adventure! Part 2 on the Greenbriers trail this is a Difficulty
    EasyLength 77.7 mi Elevation gain 2,956 ft.In this episode Barry will be exploring the Greenbrier River Trail located in the Allegheny Mountains in southeastern West Virginia. He starts his adventure in Cass where he visits the Cass Scenic Railroad, then rides south to the town of Marlinton where he spends the night at Appalachian Sport. On his 2 day e bike trip the next morning Barry continues south through the picturesque countryside enjoying everything this trail has to offer. This 77 mile trail passes through some of the most remote country in West Virginia. He finishes his ride at Caldwell the southern most terminus of the trail.

    i love the set up with the trailer.... but if you coild add a solar panel and a power station to it you wouldn't have to worry for some more juice for it...

    Hi there, new sub. I don't know what your name is yet but I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed you e-bike trail ride in Virginia. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. You definitely need a second battery. The only thing I wouldn't like was going into those dark tunnels. A headlight or lamp for your head would work for that. And I probably would have had to quit if I'd come to that huge dead tree across the trail. Lol. Anyways, beautiful video. I really enjoyed it.

    Not sure why you don’t use the echo see how far you can get an echo, my bike I have a Yuba Mundo out of the box weighs 80 pounds approximately

      This was my very first E Bike trip. I’ve learned a lot since then but you’re right the least amount of power you use the longer the bike will go for sure now almost 2 years later, I can get these invites to do 70 to 90 miles.

      It works great the only problem is if you run out of battery you’re carrying more weight. But with two batteries I can Typically go 80 miles and with the trailer I can bring a solar panel kit and I have gone 142 miles

      Great question buddy when I was filming this video, I believe it was fall and very cold so you’re not really worried about stuff like that also on a trail that’s normally used quite a bit you don’t normally deal with spiderwebs
