    You mentioned accommodation is a binocular process, can you explain why not binocular and monocular both. Because according to literature accommodation is both monocular and binocular phenomena.
    And as far as I know in exo, accommodative convergence is not there that's why binocular visual acuity is less than monocular.
    Please correct me if I am wrong.

      As far as I know and as per standard teaching, it is binocular and also accommodation is active at distance as well.. especially in intermittent exotropia These points are well documented.

      Sorry maam but I am still not convinced, according to recent literature and books, what conclusion I got that _ When fusion is present (like in exophoria or intermittent exotropia with control), accommodation is typically binocular. And when fusion is absent (like in constant exotropia), accommodation tends to be monocular, usually only in the fixating eye.
