Teachers need to realize that they have all the power. Education is nothing without them. They need them. If they have an issue, go on strike.
Good!
It is so sad that they came for our Unions. The people who protect and serve our community. What a sad state of the world!!!
Unions are the reason we have weekends, paid vacation, sick leave, child labor laws, social security, an 8 hour work day, overtime pay, health and safety OSHA, health care, dental, vision, break time, wrongful termination laws, age discrimination laws, raises, sexual harassment laws, American Disabilities Act, holiday pay, military leave, and worker's comp. Like these things? You have UNIONS to thank for them.
I agree. The only issue is education funding increases AREN'T going to the teachers! It only goes to hiring more administrators! We need actual increases in teacher recruitment, not management!
Unions are for the lazy, greedy and incompetent. If you had a backbone and were worth your salt, you would negotiate your own salary and benefits, cutting out the lazy, greedy and incompetent middle man.
Pay the teachers
Good luck people. 🎉
You can't find hardly any of our youth that know anything ,why are we paying these teachers to make our kids even more stupid¿
Teach them yourself then.
It's not the teacher's fault, half the time the purpose of public education is simply to look after minors while their parents are working. So much of the current lack in education is coming down to broken homes and the fallout from lockdown policy, not the teachers (especially outside of downtown)
Parents need to do their job afterschool. Help them to develop good study habits so that they become independent learners. Students get about 45 minutes of each subject. Homework is to help them practice what they’ve learned. It takes teachers AND parents working together. Did you do your part?
You all should have voted for the President and Vice President that were pro union and not the clown who could care less.
