My uncle was a LAC during ww2 based in Singapore, sadly he was taken prisoner and died in the POW camp in Java. I have a photo of him in this type of uniform as well as heavily scripted post cards from his time as a POW, and also his medals of course.
I was in the ATC No16 Sqdn Tauranga in our stores we had tons of blue Airforce 37 pattern webbing 1990-92
In my collection is a mint condition 1940 dated O.A RAF tunic which I got for quite a bargin!
Awesome very under rated channel

If the bag has a black stripe it indicates naval service
I did not know that , I do know that an RAF issue helmet at thaat time should be painted gray .
@@philstothard8333 actually there's some debate about that.
RAAF kit on way
Would like to have seen trousers and shoes/boots too.
I do cover such when looking at full recreations. Sadly it's not generally possible as part of mannequin of the month.
An Erk.

Interesting video 👍 could you do a piece on the versatile pull through for the Lee Enfield MkIV?
O.A. do you mean O.R.'s or is it Ordinary airman?
It's ordinary airman for the RAF
