IMHO 2 big mistakes: - didn't cap the C at start because too eager to do DMG and got hydroed by Seattle and resetter - u had smoke ready and u could reset nagato in the cap with guns and smoke up.. instead u let him cap
Doing what you suggested would have cost the Benham the game... Your opinion is wrong. 1 Capping C while the enemy DD was just outside of the cap would have cost him his ship right at the beginning. The French DD had better guns and can out DPS him. 2 Sitting in smoke he wouldn't be able to reset the Nagato because he wouldn't be able to see him and he killed him with torps instead... His team was winning.. no need for the Benham to try to win harder and take extra risk and get smacked by the Nagato and then sink and cost his team the game.. far better to launch torps and run which he pretty much did
@@rodshoaf First he should have shot nagato and smoked up to go dark.. nut I never said he had to stay in smoke.. it's only to get some reset and no DMG. Second he outspot the french DD by a mile and u have to be a bot to get proxy spotted by him.. so no risk to get jumped and points would have been ticking since early game
@@riccardopozzoni8821 The French DD was at the cap.. if he entered it himself he would have been spotted as he himself would gave entered detection range. He would then be targeted not just by the french DD he would have been crushed by the red team. As for the firing on the Nagato.... all you are proving is you just want to win harder... and causing yourself to be sunk.. one HE round at that point from the Nagato could have sunk him. The Benham captain did exactly the correct thing... Use torps and run as he did and not get spotted. They each were the last survivors... and the Benham's team was already going to win, acting stupid and firing would have just allowed the BB to spot him and possibly sink him before they won on points
