[Fishing Gulf of Mexico, Offshore, Nearshore, Beaches, Surf, Bays, Saltwater Canals, Rivers, Piers, Lagoons, Rigs, Reefs, Wrecks, Sea Walls, Bulkheads, Jetties in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan, Alabama Fly Fishing, Coral]
Good stuff Stephen. Thank you for your Army Service and your obvious Christian faith. I'm an old, retired Naval Aviator from Oklahoma City. I am typing this post from my beach front hotel room at the Hilton Resort Gulf State Park, just down the road from your Orange Beach boat launch, (for all the folks who may not be familiar with this area.)
Watching your videos over the past several months has sparked a desire in me to move down here and buy a retirement home and fishing boat. At 72 years of age who knows how much longer I will have health to live the dream.
We lived nine years in Pensacola back in the 1980s-1990s, when I was in the Navy, so we are in love with this area. You have inspired me beyond measure and would love to meet up with you and take you and your mom to lunch some day, along with my wife of 50 years. I have learned a ton from your videos with reference to salt water fishing and tackle and have been accumulating my arsenal of tackle next to all my fresh water stuff. I was was a Wildlife Ecology major in school, so I am particularly interested in your marine science knowledge you put into your videos. God speed. Phil
So glad you're finally getting the recognition you deserve. You're def my favorite fishing channel.
@@joeburns91 I appreciate your kind words !! Thanks !!
I always watch your videos and then all of a sudden you in a plane flying over my house!😂😂 life’s crazy😂 welcome to Australia🙏🏾
Jet lag is murder! Thanks for taking us along! God bless y'all 🙏
I Can't wait to see the upcoming footage Steve!
The amount of life that has to be around those massive reefs have to be IMMENSE. What an insane place to go fishing, it's gotta be a bucket list location!
How epic is this, Alabama meets the Great Barrier Reef, more power to you man.
Welcome to Australia man, hope you enjoyed your trip. I’ve been watching your stuff for years now. Happy you got to experience our reef 🤘god bless

What an incredible opportunity. Congratulations and well done for the hard work you've put in to put yourself in this position. Can't wait to see the footage from the rest of the trip. Nomad makes great stuff.
YES BROTHER! You deserve this. So cool to see you exploring new waters, can't wait to see the rest of this series. I started using Nomad lures after watching your videos and was asked for a pic of my lure by another fisherman yesterday after hooking spotted seatrout non-stop on the 3" vertrex hahaha

The things you do for the people , is awesome
It was a trip I couldn't say no too!! unfortunately the travel weather was terrible, BUT the fishing weather was amazing the whole time!
@BamaSaltwater having nice weather for fishing is a heck of a lot better then rough flying flights ✈️
Bro you absolutely deserved this trip. Can’t wait to see more.
Thank you!!!!!!!
Yes!!!! I’ve been waiting for this moment 😂
Brother, you weren’t lying when you said a trip of a lifetime! Glad the flights worked out and you were able to make it. That Cheoy Lee 90 footer is beautiful! Awesome that you got to experience this and we appreciate you taking us along for the experience!
Been waiting impatiently for this one 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Appreciate ya! It was Day 0 travel! I have 5 days of footage coming up in the next few weeks!!
@@BamaSaltwater That’s a lot of flying. You must’ve been exhausted. When I fly from Florida to Seattle it’s tiresome 😴
Wow, that long 3 day travel to get to the bucket list destination was brutal. Thanks for taking us along! That swimming leaf looked like a Spanish Dancer or something closely related. They're some kind of sea slug I think.
Cool stuff Stephen!
Man.... I cannot wait to see how this goes!! Talk about a bucket list trip!!
Thank you for sharing your trip...it was a wonderful video...God Bless you for doing this..
Oh yeah Bama Saltwater the best fishing show in the world let's get it brudda
You had the patience of a Saint. Sorry you missed a day due to a delay. I cannot wait for the upcoming videos.
Ausi Saltwater! I didn't know this was on my bucket list until now. My wife says you owe her money 😂
Can't wait to see the fishing!
Memories what life is all about this trip will be one you think about when your old and rusty.
Thank you for taking us along.
What an awesome trip. I don't think this old man could do a 14 hour flight. I couldn't walk afterwards. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.
What a beautiful country. I loved seeing the different sights of Australia 🦘🦘 Great video so far Stephen ❤❤
I hate that you lost a day traveling but so excited to see where you got to fish and your awesome accommodations.
Looking forward to seeing your trip! I’m sure there’s epic fishing.
You have the patience of a saint, I would lose my mind on that trip
This was fun. i absolutely woulda taped every leg of the journey, too, and posted in sequence. You don't get these opportunities very often! Folks have to be patient. Can't wait to see what's next!

@@tg1cent765 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Wow!!! After watching this it feels like I've been to Australia!!!
Thanks Cap'n 🤙🏽
Unreal steven the trip of a lifetime looking forward to seeing the fishing videos 🙏
That is awesome! That would be an amazing experience getting to do something like that. I’ve gotten to have a big fascination with nomad lures the last 6 months or so. They really seem to work well on actually catching and not just to lure the fisherman to buy. Love your videos Steven!
It really was a trip I'll remember forever. and its pretty amazing seeing a company that actually uses and fished their stuff , changes it up if need be, and just puts in the work before its released for sale! I got a newfound respect for em after fishing with the team there!
First and foremost, thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
Thank you for the genuinely awesome, and wholesome content!
Thank you!!!! Tight lines and God Bless!
Good for you man! Goes to show what all the hard is for and how it pays off in the end! Dream trip!

I live your videos and can't wait to see more of this trip ❤
What an awesome opportunity! Can't wait to see more footage! (That trip down would have put me down for a couple of days tho..lol)
It really was amazing. and dang, that travel on the 3rd day had me down but the adrenaline of amazing fishing overrides it for sure !
Looking forward to the GBR vids!🙌
Living the dream man! I’m heading back to gulf shores for the rest of the year. Looks like you’ve been tearing them up in the IWC near my house.
That was AWESOME
i’ve been looking forward to this video for a minute.
Thanks for sharing! Your flights aside, I am jealous.
Dude, you fish my home fishing spots and know your taking my dream trip. Enjoy the experience it's going to be so much fun.
Riding across Mobile Bay, watching Bama Saltwater
Hello Mr. Steve, I ALWAYS watch your videos, BUT what a wonderful trip!!! Such beauty.... I hope there are several videos from the trip!!!! rick
Thank you!!! And 100%! I have tons of epic fishing footage I cant wait to share. Editing as fast as I can!
Awesome video my friend. Looks likes you had a blast. Cannot wait for next one
those fish in that marina were awesome! found a sargassumfish in rhode island a few years ago as a tropical stray and they very rarely show up in the north east. im hopefully going out to australia for multispecies microfishing in the near future as long as costs arent too too high
What an epic trip. My Dad uses Nomads all the time. I surprise him with the DTX 200’s.
Thanks!! It really was and thats awesome haha!
Lucky. Kudos to you and your fishing adventures.
Pics look incredible. I am envious, but I would've been probably sick by the time I hit the hotel!!
How exciting!!! Thanks for sharing your experience with us 🤘
That was great I know you had a blast. Can’t wait till you put out another one.
Dude no way thats my dream trip. I want to grab a rubber dinghy and go island hopping up north fishing the deep waters off the islands since you can catch some gnarly pelagics and GTs right off the rock cliffs. Im so jealous its unreal hahaha have a great one man youll have a blast out there the fishing is unreal
Good for you, looked amazing!
Following you IG, i was o hyped for this video! Fire!
Beautiful cant wait to see more
The GBR… I am so happy for you, Steve! The way things are going, bleaching and acidification wise… we might not have this wondrous gift by the next generation.
Congratulations on the trip. And partner. Can’t wait until video comes out
What an amazing opportunity and partnership!
100% amazing for sure!! Thank you
I been awaiting this moment!!!
Awesome video as always but this one takes the cake the build up is killing me can't wait for the next part

Do you do all of your editing? Love the video man great job!
Yup!! I do it all!! Thanks!!
Great video! Keep it up
Welcome to Australia 🇦🇺 my part of the world I’m over the other side of the country Perth
We have some of the best beaches in the world and fishing 🎣
Love the vids keep it up brother
Appreciate that man, more on the way!
Stephen,, Once you are back home & go out fishing,, When you see a big grass patch,, Take you net & get a big scoop of grass,, I can promise you will find a Sargassum fish in it.
Honestly I do!! I love seeing the tiny shrimps and crabs come out from it, I probably have missed the anglerfish cause of how small they would be. I had a sargassum crab ride home in my Yamaha cowling 65 miles lol
That’s why I drive to a major airport. The delays and cancellations with smaller planes drives me crazy and can really mess with your trips. For my retirement I booked two weeks down under spending the first week between Sidney and Cairns. We went on that tram and I got to hold a koala! Beautiful rainforest there is just a short train ride away from Cairns. The last week we flew to the south island of New Zealand wheee we drove all over. Finished by flying to the north island and driving to Auckland. Hopefully we will go back someday. Lovely places and the friendliest people too.
Uuughh, get posting the fishing 😂, been waiting!
❤️ Loving your video.
I had to close Battleship Marine Supply in Fairhope but it is OK!
I'm going to do some fishing 🎣 and I plan to get my passport renewed!
I went to Jamaica in the Spring of 2004 but Hurricane Ivan messed me and my wife up in September 2004 and my life changed.
I actually I even had a bad car wreck that day in Daphne but I had to get home for the Hurricane that awful September afternoon.
Bottom line.
God Bless and the Video is awesome 👌.
-Cliff
I understand that!!! and I hope you'll be able to get a little bit of traveling/fishing done without any hiccups!! Tight lines and God Bless Cliff!!
Can't wait to see more...
Thanks!!! The next few weeks will be plenty of full fishing uploads of this trip!!
Be waiting on your videos. Enjoy your trip
Man, next time I’ll be more than happy to drop you off and avoid that airport parking lol. Can’t wait to see the rest of the videos!
Ty for sharing
Hey Steven! I really love your videos, you have inspired I to one day start a saltwater fishing channel out of NC. I was wondering what you would suggest for starting camera equipment because we have no clue! Thanks!
FINALLY ‼️‼️‼️
AWESOME!!!
Dang, you ain’t in Bama no more! Can’t wait to see the upcoming videos. I live in DFW area and I concur, our airport would suck bad if you were stuck there more than an hour or so. lol.
I am very, very, very envious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still think you caught a GT.
BAMA GOING OUT OF THE COUNTRY
The beginning made me miss gulf shores I went once 2 years ago
We live in such a beautiful area as well!
