Dr Sahab: On a long trip of 15 days through MP, I put my storme 4x4 in a narrow tractor gully of river chambal, the gully was steep with at least 2-3 ft sand and high incline, full family of 5 inside. half way and there was a bend from where I decided to reverse, yes, reverse at a bend which was bloody 30* drop, full of river sand. So i reversed, because there was a tractor stuck at the lower and anyways. I was hopeless about the safari with that much weight able to climb, the family offered to get down, i said no. I dont know how but the safari made it though. And recently to avoid traffic jam of 50kms on gwalior hwy, in rain, i took a shortcut though fields, the kacchi trail went through by the canal, there was mud, slippery mud, it was middle of night, no one around for kilometers. I was keeping in motion, 4x4 high, afraid of stopping, as stopping would sink the safari into mud instantly. then sh*t happened, a 90* turn came, the end point was high and if i did not slow down to take this turn, i would slip and fall in the fields, so i just stopped and the safari sank at least 1.5 feet instantly in the wet sand as it rained. I thought i would have to sleep here tonight. I still made a full turn, slowly driving though and it somehow worked without a hitch! i have crossed muddy passes, snow laden passes, rocky crap, jungle trails, pulled buses and loaded pickups, dragged poles...been there done that... never has the safari got stuck and i do not know how....never had to get recovery... i am still puzzled

sir where is your safari?
At home this time, coz we had to check Scorpio's new MLD while off roading.
