Having had close male friends all my life, seeing one here finally in a c drama who accepts the FLs feelings aren't romantic with them and does not try to manipulate her into a relationship-- and in fact supports her in her relationship with the ML is refreshing. (I had/have in fact 3 close male friends who actually all agreed on liking my now husband.)

My three best male friends (and I have two best female friends) are one - we're not each other's type, but we have hobbies in common, two - my brother from another mother - he went brother like on first meeting and it stuck and the third - we live our lives in ways that would not work as a relationship (and no, I'm not and he's not compromising core habits and needs). Once you all get over the idea that a person's gender is of primary importance in how you interact with them, you get past most of the BS.
What outfit is the 2ML wearing? LOl. This is a stupid drama. Very weak FL. They squeeze nearly every bad Cdrama trope into this garbage. Over the top evil “MIl”, abusive and angry Ex. Kidnapping, a murder attempt, the stolen jewlry frame up, Drugging and attrmpted rape, constant physical abuse, choking and slapping of the FL. Of course nothing happens to the evil Mother for doing all of this. It’s magically forgiven. 🤬🤬🤬 It checks all the box for a toxic mix of crap and the thing is only 34 mins! Absolutely ridiculous!
