I have a source of this same type of Leonhardite material that was lifted in the Rocky Mountains then encapsulated the material preventing the leaching of the material. It also has a volcanic steam vent within the deposit that has been cooking it for a few million years. It works quite well. It is astounding how difficult it is too explain to a farmer/gardener the facts about how humic and fulmic acids work as well as the trace minerals and ready to use calcium.

Al Davis I have a question - can humic&fluvic acids be mixed with liquid lime = so that we farmers could 1 run with sprayer instead of two?

Yes Sir, you can. The best part about humic acids are they are compatible with any type of soil.

I have been studying the effects of the green revolution on India's productive delta. I have read that they have dug down 5 feet in the soil and found no live organism, especially beneficial organisms, from the use of N

We totally are!! That's the reason we have trying real hard to promote our range of products here. Farmers are now beginning to accept it these days. So things are looking not so glum now. :-)

how can humic acid fight soil erosion?
humic acid absorb divalent and trivalent cation only
    such as Ca, Mg
    what about sodium Na

      1. Soil structure directly affects the ability of the soil to resist drought and desertification. Fundamental to the soil structure is the presence of soil organic matter
      2. Soils that have suffered a loss of SOM have also lost most of their Humic acids, which play a fundamental role.
      3. When the Humic acids are lost, the soil structure collapses, resulting in increased erosion, anaerobic conditions in the soil which reduce growth, and also reduced water infiltration and water holding capacity.
      Hope this answers your question.
