I'm 15 years old and i will be buying my first bike some time next year, and it will likely be the Aprillia RS 125.I will most likely be doing a build on it so these videos are highly informative and helpful to someone that hasn't owned a bike before, keep it up!
Love these videos you do of the RS125 rebuilds. Iv just finished the restoration of a 1999 and these videos remind me of the challenges I faced throughout the my build. Can’t wait to see this come together. Keep up the great work!
Great video. I have just purchased a 2000 myself for a restoration project. Similar condition to yours and it has been stored for 11 years. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Thank you 👍
Did you buy the Blue one from Peterborough by any chance? Im loving my RS, fitted a 140cc kit and 34mm carb and just this morning a new clutch as the old one was beggining to slip a touch. I never saw myself as a bike mechanic :) As far as i know, the latter model CDI's are different, from the clocks the Blue one is a Euro 3 bike. This means its the most restricted RS they did, 2 cats in the Expansion Chamber and to derestrict it if it isnt it needs drilling in the small recess at the top left if i remember right. I use a 50p coin for the clutch caps :)
@@letsreviewit8925 It was just 2 minutes down the road from me, i saw it on Ebay a while ago and was so close to buying it. Im glad its gone to a good home :)
so is the other bike a rotax 123?? i have hears they don’t fit in newer frames but don’t know for sure. there are subtle differences with older and new frames and parts are harder to get for older models who is building your engine ?
They're both 122's so there are no issues there, a good friend of mine is building the engine he's an ex 2T GP rider and old fart to boot but he knows smokers.
hi there bro! nice rebuild. but i just want to know where u purchase all the accessories especially the single seat? Im very interested! and hi from singapore! 🇸🇬 i own one too do check up my video

Whats corsa black? I’m confused?
Lets Review It the name of the colour for “chesterfield “black aprilia rs125, took me an age to find that out, so thought i’d share it with you.
Ah sorry got ya thank you, I was just getting a painter to colour match to be honest

Doing the same, restoring a a basket case...only it’s a 2009 yzf 125 that spent 11 years at the seaside so has been eaten alive by the salt.
Mark D salt is a nightmare on fixings mate
The state of the clip ons, chain and shock were horrific.
The RSV1000R I did was from Cornwall it had rust in places that weren’t metal haha
