I know Anna is way much older and would be smart enough not to put the spinner in her mouth but one of the first times I ever heard of Spinners it was a news story about a small child playing with it some how managed to get one of the little weighted metal pieces in their mouth guessing it was cheaply made and popped out and they swallowed it- a trip to ER and some unfun times to get it out - can't remember all of it but parent talked about the time and cost and uncomfort involved with worry for a tiny trending toy - so if other smaller children are playing with them keep an eye on them ---- Making me want to drive up to Gatlinburg haven't been there since Dec 15 visiting with my folks at Westgate Resort - last year they were there when the fires raged and were evacuated their unit burned down and they only grabbed a few things - they were never repaid for what burned ---- my Mom was most upset about large jar of Sorghum she had bought and had taken in - luckily some she had bought her brother she had left in the car and so she split it with him lol --- Their story was too scary for us

You are in my all time favorite place to be. Gatlinburg TN! My family goes to this wonderful tourist town almost every year for vacation. It's practically a second home. It's a real shame about the extreme arson. It was really nice of Dolly to help out so much. My favorite part of this town is the always cozy Village. We always stop in at the Fryer's donut shop. Yeah the number of D's in the theaters down there has kinda gotten out of control. I really didn't expect to see a fidget spinner shop crop up that fast, but they've always been on the cutting edge of merchandise trends. If you've never been you should check out The Craftsmen's Loop. It's a area of shops outside of town were all the good handmade stuff is sold.
Gatlinberg looks really good, would love to visit, love those mirror mazes, your daughter is growing up fast, Jacob! Enjoy soon she will be a teenager 😬x Thankyou

I loved your Possum 1 footage. It was nice to see the chair lift redone and running. So sad to see how the fire was right in that area. We have eaten at both locations of Dick's Last Resort in both Gatlinburg and The Island in Pigeon Forge. The one in Gatlinburg is much better. They are rather expensive so it's not a place to frequent very often.
I don't understand why your family feels so inferior to your travels? I would have loved to go with my father on all of these adventures. Your daughter seems to be bothered by it all. Sad for her. I live in Blackpool I think Gatlinburg has nicer surroundings than my old town but it looks just as much fun .

If it's one piece of advice I can give, don't do the mirror maze after having some very generous sample of the moonshine. Don't ask me how I know....

LoL no, but the mirror maze tends to make you very disoriented and dizzy when you're dead sober. Add some moonshine into that and it's not good.
