    Here are the key ideas discussed in the video:
    1. there are three phases of any interview namely pre interview phase, interview phase and post interview phase.
    2. During pre interview phase it is the time to take the strategy of 'you find them' and not to follow the strategy of they find you.
    3. In 'you find them' strategy you decide to choose the company in which you would like to work rather than waiting for an opening in any company and applying there.
    4. Here you make three types of lists for example list a is the list of the companies which are your dream companies and you would like to see yourself in one of these companies someday, the list b is the companies where do you think you deserve to get into with little extra effort and preparation you will be a right candidate for that company, and in the list c we keep those companies which are in our contingency plan if we do not get into list a or list b then we look for the companies in the list c.
    5. here you need to understand about the key products of the company, their key requirements, their interest or their needs and then you have to prepare to fulfill those particular needs. basically you will be looking for a sweet spot where your competencies have a match with requirement of one of these companies.
    6. in the interview phase you are supposed to know two things with clarity number 1 - what you want from the company? and number 2 - what they want from you? having clarity in these two matters will make you very confident and help you in answering difficult questions with ease.
    7. always use a language of contribution during interview so if you are asked about your future plans and where do you want to see yourself then always talk in the language of how would you like to learn more things, do more things or contribute more. for example you could say that I would like to complete at least five major projects in next 3 years or I would like to work upon this particular kind of technology or I would like to learn these kind of skills and have a first hand experience on this aspect.
    8. Avoid saying things like in three years I would like to be promoted as a manager or as a COO or something like that. this shows not a contributor but a person who is only interested in own growth.
    9.if you are asked to talk about your strong points always mention the points which you can back with some solid evidence. some incidents in the past or some achievements or some kind of certificates will always make your strengths look more credible rather than mere statements of I have this or that strength.
    10. if you are talking about your weaknesses talk, about your genuine weaknesses which are related to knowledge or skills and avoid talking about the weaknesses which are related to attitude.
    11. Attitude related weaknesses are difficult to overcome, where as knowledge and skills can always be learnt if the attitude of a person is correct therefore that is less threatening to the interviewer and at the same time you could also say that I am already working on improving my knowledge or skill set in this particular area and display a good learning attitude.
