I know you guys mentioned main dude in reference to one of the characters. To help you understand how high the stakes are and how anyone is capable of dying, like the teacher, understand that there are no main characters. It is completely an ensemble cast.
Exactly, this show doesn’t have any main characters like when i saw the students who survived the ending episode of Part 2, they were not the people you’d expect to lived. I thought the class president would’ve survived because she seemed like one of the main characters.

soon-yi (the girl who cries a lot) is played by sohee of alice, who just had a comeback I think you would enjoy a lot! i wish she had more screen time she's so cute lol

The plot suddenly went a full 360 degrees. They’re saying it’s to tell viewers that humans are scarier than monsters BUT STILL the ending was so unnecessary.
I'm dropping this series after the second episode, it's so predictable and cliche with the same old "Good" teacher that sacrifices her life for the children, the fat funny friend, the usual school bullies and the weak one. The writing is trash it doesn't even make sense sometimes, like why are they not in a quarantine when they know the spheres are hostile and it's falling, Why's only 3-4 armed soldiers accompanying 40 something kids and walking them through an open street instead of a truck??
It’s explained later on why 😂 it’s actually not that cliche. I thought the same but it genuinely shocked me. It had some good twist and turns and the ending… was something 😅

The way some of the kids freeze up and don't run when in danger makes me yell at them, but then I remember they are *just* kids. Anxiety level 100!

It was really nice of the alien Sphere’s to sit, wait and watch the kids get trained before attacking…much nicer than the aliens in Independence Day😎
