Good guide...but I think what is messing up people with the directions is that he specifically put the 32 bit version in the system 32 folder and he specifically put the 64 bit in the syswow folder. That should have been greatly emphasized. I hope that helps some folks.

how do you open the D3DC folder it wont open for me it says like fire fox somethin likethat and i then i choose fire fox and just now and it opens up nothing like just a gray nothing theres nothing there just its gray.

i don't have the folder you removed so i don't know what i should do

he didn't remove a folder. he removed a file. and some people don't even have that file. you can easily just drop in the new one, and if an old one is there, it will replace it. He could have omitted the delete process.

check to see if you are the owner/administrator because don't' assume you are signed in under that owner's account. If you ARE, give yourself permission with a pop up asking you if you are sure. Should be flashing at the bottom of the screen.
