I love this! I just finished S3 and I can't wait to get S4. I love Noel and Felicity too, but Ben & Felicity just have something more, like they've just always were meant to be!

I really love how she holds him as tight as she can, and he hides his face in her shoulder, it's just so honest and sweet. I happen to love Noel, too, but still: for me there is nothing like Ben and Felicity together.
Their hugs were the best I've ever seen in a tv couple! Those moments really showed how much they loved and cared for each other. In those hugs they conveyed their individual weaknesses and fears and turned them in strengths by sticking together. I like how Ben and Felicity shared their lives and also left room in the couple to let each other be and grow individually with freedom.
@uclmu2008 I liked her with Noel the time he had this crush on her from the beginning, he was really cute ... but when they got together, all this "sweetness" was like gone ... no mystery anymore. I shipped her with Ben from the first moment on, even Ben was often a jerk, but you could tell, he was too afraid to be with her, he cared about her ... but always to shy to tell her his feelings, I am glad they ended up together.
Way back when I was watching the show, I was definitely on team Noel. I don't know why but I always thought Ben was kind of mean to her. But come to think of it, wasn't he why she came to NY in the first place? Now I get it.
i guess i never know if i am a noel or a ben person. i love the fact that she chose ben and that her choice was never easy. he failed her time and again , but when you love someone, regardless of their flaws, you sacrifice perfection and choose to believe that if you work at it you can be together. if she chose noel she would have been denying her heart and taking the easier path. ben wasn't perfect but his character had a good heart and felicity's character seemed to know that.
Ben only really failed Felicity once when he cheated on her when they were studying in California. When he slept with Lauren, they were separated due to Felicity's infidelity. I don't see him really more at fault in the grand scheme of things.
I like that - even with the connection they had - both Ben and Felicity grew and changed as people in their four years in college, and the relationship changed with it. Yet they still maintained a connection.
Well, I must say that I've never thought about it that way but now you've got me thinking and I would have to agree with you, but not entirely. In our lives we too often choose easier ways, we give up on relationships when first trouble comes. I believe that the most valuable things in life don't come easily and being always true to your heart is the most important.

I understand everything that you are saying and in a way I agree. I didn;t mean that everyone chooses the hard way, most do get out of the relationship, but there will always be the couples that keep coming back to eachother.
I tend to think that soulmates can be friends and not lovers. Have you ever seen the movie "Never Been Kissed"? Drew Barrymore's character says that she always thought of the nerdy kids and teachers as her friends and her soulmates. I think that someone can be so much like you and understand you that you will never truly leave that person behind, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you wil be in love with them.
But I don't think that choosing Noel would be choosing easier way. I think that he and Felicity were true soulmates, they understood each other perfectly and somehow after all they came thru manage to remain friends who could always count on each other. And I know from my experience it isn't easy thing to do after break up. Thank you so much for your comment :) and sorry for my English I hope it is understandable enough.
