Hi Maureno, looking at the pictures, most of them seem to be 70's 80's. You are so right, we can't take the things we collect over our lifetime, to decorate our homes with. Most families, have relatives to clear out the house, share the collected items amongst each other or donate them. It just destroys me that not one person in those pictures, did anything with this house. The Kitchen appliances seem to be 80's, the typewriters and cars are 70 and 80's. A family lived there, loved there, and called it home. What a great explore, Maureno. I am happy you got to celebrate an American Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing. Love from N.Y.

This place was probably beautiful at one time. So many lovely things left behind.
The rooster clock was so vintage. The little ornament in the window seemed so sad left behind. Sending love, guys❤.
Thanks for another lovely adventure. This is another one that needs to go live so we can enjoy it together. Just so many good ones lately and I love them all.

This house looks like a tipacle grandparents home to me.I love the bird clock, each hour the bird the hand was on made that bird sound. The Tupper ware cake holder in the pantry ,and the Visions cook pot in the kitchen.I think the house is from the 70s since I have those things I mentioned..The visions pot is all glass wonderful cookware.I wonder why no kids or grand kids came after those memories.Sad.👍❤️🇺🇸

Some of the throw blankets thrown in corners and the knitted bedspread are definitely from the 1970's. Also the photos sitting around and in the photo album show 1970 cars. Clothing in photos is from the 1970's. I think that the 1954 calendar probably commemorated when they bought the home and the heyday of their family life raising their children was the 1970's. There children, if still alive, are now 70 to 75 years old. I live the white lace curtains and the old fashioned white sun shades that roll up and down behind those lace curtains.

You can tell this was once a beautiful home. The kitchen and bathroom plus the doll collection reminded me of the 70's: I even saw a doll identical to one I got for Christmas in the 1960's.
My heart feels heavy because nobody bothered to take at the very least, the family photos. 😢
I'm catching up with your videos as I'm stuck at home with COVID. I managed to avoid it for so long but it hit me hard on December 31st. I missed celebrating the new year with my friend from the UK.😢

This was a great look into history of a family. So sad when the personal momentos, like photos are left behind. You would think the family would want those, if nothing else. The funishings could've been sold and would now be appreciated by another family, instead of rotting away. So sad.

Hey Maureno from super team Explomo, thank you for sharing this exceptional explore in that home somewhere in the USA. Some of the rooms still had such a time capsule vibe like frozen in time. Despite the rather massive traces of decay I could also see the fading beauty behind the decay. - The two bedrooms upstairs were indeed really beautiful to see.
And I especially loved these three old cars outside the house. - When listening to your deep reflections about life and the end of our days on earth and seeing in your video all these lovely small ornaments and photos I couldn't help getting tears. Yeah, it is so true, we can't take anything, we are owning or collecting during our life with us into eternity. Wow Maureno, so meaningfully beautiful words!
Wishing you fullheartedly only the best, peace and a lot of joy in the running new year. Kindest regards from Switzerland

I absolutely love the architectural style of these Craftsman homes. I lived in a Craftsman home when I was growing up, and built-in cabinets and columns are some of their hallmarks. That's what makes them so special and gives them that extra touch of character. The way this home looks, it looks like Marjie and Roland worked to make a happy home for their family. Which puzzles me as to why none of their personal effects were taken. It's almost as if their memory was unwanted and forgotten, which is so very sad to me. Thank you, Maureno, for giving these people one last chance to be remembered.

Well i agree with you, this is the best American home you explored in the USA so far 😍 I am not a huge fan of American houses to be honest, i prefer the European ones. They have my heart! But i really enjoyed this one with you and it's my favorite video in the USA series. A really cozy home with really amazing and beautiful details inside of it and cute items. Sad to see it in this state, neglected and forgotten. Hope someone can at least save all these memories left behind and all the photos. And some rooms are really pretty. It is possible that children who inherited the property they grew up in were so grieved by the death of their parents that they intentionally left it untouched. The place is a kind of memorial. If only the roof did not leak, it would be in good condition. They are probably unaware of the condition of the structure, or can not afford to repair the roof. While interesting to see how lives were lived in a home since the 1950' into the late 1970's or early 1980'a, we are invading their privacy.

Hey , fellow creator here, but more so fellow urban explorer. I wanted to tell you that your video here is incredibly true to the heart of exploration. I feel this video captures the truest beauty of the derelict decay that drives our compulsion as urban explorers.
This sort of content , the kind that’s not over dramatized , not show offy like some of my videos , not a bunch of stories made up to attract views, is so refreshing.
The intro to this video is so well written . The way you describe the icicles is nothing short of poetic. Your voice is hypnotic, beautiful. I love how your tone changes when you describe the teddy bear on the floor being sad and when you mention the positive vibes you get. The energy is reflected in your words. Despite the accent your enunciation, and emotional expression is better than most Americans only fluent in English.
You did a fantastic job at getting the viewers to perceive the way people like you and I and many explorers see these forgotten places. We see the world in potential. What once was and what remains feels so strongly of the curious unanswered questions to why this place was just forgotten. What happened to the potential? The essence of the beauty in the rubble, was captured when that old car left for rust on the lawn under dead weeds and snow suddenly came to life as we got to see the photo of the car brand new. Not only did you manage to remarkably portray the laps of time and the life that once was but you reinforced the narrative in a way that was confirming, consistent but not repetitive. From a production standpoint, a story telling standpoint and an urban exploration perspective , well done!!
Let me know if you’re ever in Minnesota, twin cities area!

The house is a historic property probably purchased out of a catalog not unlike Sears or Montgomery ward. Looks like a 1920s Glendale style home based on the roof pitch, or Craftsman style home with a Carport, the Carport is super cool. Homes have a timeless Appeal, im not an expert but it appears to be. Looks like the type of house found all over America like the American Four square also a Sears Catalog home that dates as far back as even 1900.
