That was a terrible display of coaching by KY. No creativity on offense. No adjustments on defense. Just let Fous get torched over and over on defense. Get torched on ball screens over and over. This iteration of BYU might also be the LEAST clutch team I’ve ever seen. Can’t hit open threes. Can’t make free throws. Turnovers at the worst moments. When you combine poor coaching with a group of guys that piss down their leg in crunch time, you get results like this.

You know I love how some fans just expect that every time the men's team steps on the court this season that they are going to win,but I think a lot of us know that there were going to be some games like this that they would lose during the season and that has been the case so far. The Big 12 is a good basketball conference,in my opinion one of the best in all of college basketball. The good news? The season finale is against Utah and it'll be in Provo,and BYU has generally played pretty well at home for the most part,so that should be a good one too to finish the season. I have this year's BYU team winning around 8 games or so. Still a lot of basketball left to play,and yes you want to win every game but I would rather see them lose a hard fought game by a point or two than play like they did against Houston where there was not a lot of effort. That is just my take. I have to say one thing though,Keita can really jump out of the building on those dunks.
Utah isn't a good road team, I expect BYU and Utah will split this year. You guys just have to deal with some trash talk for a few months now though ;)
@samwalters I'd agree on that, this year's Utes team on the men's side isn't great, and Madsen hurt them last year when they played but I don't think I'm okay with seeing players like Hunter Erickson beat them,I don't think he's all that good, but it is what it is and there'll be some growing pains along the way; but we'll see how they respond.
What an awesome rivalry ad for the big 12. They despise each other and everyone in the conf hates Utah so we have a villain it’s quite entertaining. Plus Tech beat them both so even sweeter.
