If Tory just viscously beat Kelsey and shot her best friend, why was she so calm on the phone with Tory? Why did she give him Megs location and agree to help bail him out? Why didn’t she tell the police what happened? Why did she ask for immunity? Vlad only tries to interpret things in a negative light towards Tory and throws out common sense due to his personal issue with him
They offered her immunity pretty close to the trial after the DA told her what Tory's defense was going to be. Tory should have been more proactive with the case at the beginning. He should have shopped better for a lawyer, because his lawyer attacking the prosecutors during the trial was what let Kelsey's recorded testimony be considered more than her court room testimony where she said she lied during the recording because she was being pressured. Tory being big headed and not letting the driver take the stand was the final blow to his trial.
