Greetings from a canoe tripper from Canada. I subscribed after the fist video I watched Pete. Love Trangia cooking. Keep up the the good work my friend.
Just stumbled over your channel and to hear you talk made me sign up right away. Your honesty is refreshing and as someone who also have ptsd i appreciate it even more.
Absolutely brilliant mate, loved it and appreciate you being you open and honest 👍 I've subscribed just on the strength of this video alone, keep up the good work mate and lookforward to your next adventure 👍 🙏⚔️
Top man Pete 💪 Great video as ever, love the set up and cooking 👌 I was up you're way last week with Mabway, wondered where you were? Takes alot to talk about our demons.. always here mate if you ever fancy a bit of wild camping near my home in the Beacons ? I'm hoping to do alot more this year 👌. Stay strong brother, and keep up the great work 👌💪
Thanks Lee mate, I’ve moved to pastures new buddy back home, I plan to do a wild camp on the Fan in the summer mate, I’ll give you a shout 👍 thanks for watching mate, stay strong brother 🤙🏻👊🏻🤘
Hi Pete, what a nice looking wood that was especially with the sunbeams slicing through the trees. Yes, mental health and depression can be tough. My dad passed away in December and since then I've lost my mojo for camping. I use any little excuse not to get out but I'm hoping that will change soon. Glad to see you are on the mend atb Taff 🤠👊
Thanks Taff, it was a cracking day, my condolences for your dad mate, give yourself time mate, it’s still early days, it took me a year to fully greave for my dad, I still think about him everyday 10 years on, be kind to yourself, your mojo will return mate I’m sure brother 👊🏻🤙🏻
Really enjoyed your video mate...who doesn't love a cheese burger?...love your honest approach when it comes to your mental health...obviously i have not been through things like you have, but i get pretty low from time to time, never asked for help...i suppose i should really.....by the way, love the big hat
Yes mate, I found it quite upsetting rewatching a tough time I had so I took it down, after some thought and consideration I have reposted it to promote the importance of talking about mental health 👍 apologies for the confusion 🤙🏻
@@Peteablokeoutdoors no need to apologise at all. I understand why you did it. Hopefully, you see the support people are giving you here and that in a small way helps. Take good care Pete and I hope to see more of your adventures 😁
Very helpful tips on the tarp shelter and also on the Trangia. No reason to feel one bit bad about having to leave. Just call it a dress rehearsal and try again another day. You seemed to have a good day up to that point. PTSD and anxiety are no joke. There’s no reasoning with them. It is what it is. Live to fight another day!
Really sorry to hear about the PTSD Pete. An awful thing to be going through for many people. As usual, fantastic video though!!
Thank you mate, thanks for your kind words 👊🏻🤙🏻
