I’m so very sorry that you have list him, Ricky. I can only imagine the love you both had for each other. He certainly made stupendously beautiful quilts and I can tell they were all made from the heart. My deepest condolences to to you.
I just watched this interview (June 2021). Noticed Wichita Falls noted there. I was born there (in Bethania 58 yrs ago) and after living all over the US and even in Denmark and England, I now live in the very near vicinity of WF-TX. Small world. Your Dad seemed like a spunky man with great talent.
He is adorable. I'm 64 and started quilting a few years ago Got distracted but this inspired me to pick it back up again. I'm going to finish all the quilts I started and never finished, including paper piecing hexagon quilt and a cathedral windows quilt Thank you for the inspiration!!
I just came across this video and I am so inspired by it! I am 70 & started about 2.5 years ago and I am not nearly as creative as Mr. Tims. Today is July 16, 2018 and I will be searching for more of Mr. Tims video's.
Thank you for sharing, now I know that you inherited his colour sense, I did from my father and very conservative! I would love to fly but being pragmatic I always say I will fail as you are born with it. RIP Richard, you did well bringing up a lovely kind hearted and innovative son.

How wonderful Ricky, and what a treasure for your family to have one of his quilts.
A great tribute. Your dad had a great smile, and sparkle in his eyes.
It is the soul's urge to create! What beautiful quilts, what a great guy and so sorry for your loss!
