Watching this reminds me of my childhood. I have 9 siblings and i am the youngest. 5 of my siblings went to different cities for college.. every 5pm in the afternoon me and my mother remains in the house because my other 4 siblings played outside or at the neighbor's house.. I grew up longing for our family to be completed in one table. I used to always sit outside the house while watching the sunset and the mountains.
NYEBE that can be translated to SNOW which in this song represents our struggles in life that keeps pouring/coming but will soon/someday slowly fade away or gone. Another masterpiece song from our beloved pinuno. This is what im getting from the songs lyrics and tone.
I think MAPA is the point of view of the child for his parents, and NYEBE is the point of view of the OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) parent who's longing for his child. It's kinda painful and at the same time comforting song. SB19 did another masterpiece here.

This is like a praise song to me. It tells us about our challenges, how life trials and experiences makes us jaded, how at the end of it all we are assured that everything will be ok in the end knowing that God is our refuge. It is like re-assuring all of us of God’s promise - that He will always be with us

My eyes are already watery from the start when I heard how sad Pablo's voice is. But, I gave in and cried my eyes out at the last part where the clip of Mahalima in a photobooth showed with the lyrics "Basta't nandyan ka parati" which means "As long as you're there". And that time, love and hope overpowered sadness and uncertainty in my heart. Pablo wrote this as if he is thankful to his members for being there with him and to each other whenever Nyebe is coming. Nyebe represents their sadness, uncertainty, longing and fear as an individual and as a group. The coldness of those is there but with the company of each other, warmth will prevail. And reaching their dream and happiness will be possible. Pablo is serious about this. He is the writer, producer and creative director of this. I'm thankful to him for sharing this to his members and to everyone- for allowing us to understand and feel the same. And to whole SB19 and staffs for showcasing the message thru their performance and visualizer. Bumuhos na ang Nyebe (Snow has fallen already). My comfort song is finally here.
