Bishop Savio will always be remembered as the one who did not put aside even the smallest things. My daughter loved to sing "Come and dine" during the mass. Father Savio made sure that we sung it regularly. Just to make a small girl happy.

When we are in a desperate situation we also cry out,we are perishing, not realising that Jesus is in the boat with us and the storm can only be controlled by Him and so all we have to do is call out to Jesus in faith believing that He cares for us in whatever situation you are in, let us be like Jesus and reach out to people in need and help them to believe that Jesus is close to them also.Thanks, Father for your reflection.God bless.
So often when things get really rough, I too am just like the disciples, terrified of what will happen, forgetting the numerous times God has always come to my rescue when I have placed my trust in Him and abandoned myself to His care. Slowly, my earlier experiences are helping me to remember that God is always in charge and will never desert me even when it feels like He is far from me. In fact, those are the times when He is very near. It is I who does not reach out for His hand. Lord, increase my faith and trust in you. Thank you Fr. Warner, God bless !
"Wake up and do something"-This is what our Lord had done in today's Gospel. This afternoon a neighbours child was crying and I did not bother to see what was the problem saying to myself "someone else will look into the matter ,but I have now realised that I have to wake up (forget about myself)and reach out to ones need.Thank you Fr for this insight.
How often have I been in this position, where in my fear n anguish I hv cried out to the Lord, n said ' Lord don't you care? ', while all along he has bn right there with me, calming me in my storms, at that time ofcourse I don't notice it but today when I look back, I kno he was with me thru out rebuking my storms. Lord , you are the captain of my boat, when you are in it I feel secure. Let not fear take over but my faith in you be strengthened. God bless you Father for today's reflection.
Jesus is always in our boat and knowing fully well that He's always in control how often when panic strikes instead of being calm I'm in distress and I lose my patience. Thank you so much Fr. Warner for this beautiful message, and to reinforce that Jesus is always in control 🙏❤️

JESUS was over tired n fast asleep, suddenly heavy storm n waves were pushing the boat, the deciples were afraid, woke up JESUS n said "don't U care for us". JESUS stood up n commanded the wind n waves to be quite n be still. O! what a wonder, nature obeyed THE LORD. The action of JESUS in the storm are his action in our life. LORD make us feel your presence n have faith in U, when we cry out to U, O LORD, U are there, we shall not fear n glorify Thy name O LORD. AMEN. God bless u your dad n fly. 🙏🕊️🕯️❤️.

Indeed with all the storms in my life, i fail and even though i strive to keep my spiritual life/faith strong, i behave like the disciple and doubt like Thomas. With the recent happening of the court case where my focus is " Truth & Justice" should prevail with the law of the land ,but the case just keep on and on when the end seem close only to realize its gone further. Understanding and putting myself in Jesus place , i too am so tired at times, when i can just fall anywhere, even on the floor and go to sleep ( how much sound maybe around ), after all Jesus was human too as much as he is God. Thank you for the beautiful prayer of encouragement a faith filling. God bless.

"QUIET! BE STILL!"... "The wind ceased and there was great calm."... I, too, am identical to the disciples, often worried and anxious and yet the LORD is always there calming the storm within me. I often grumble, and sailing in the same boat as the disciples, complaining in the same manner "Do you not care" ... Jesus appears not to hear my cry but he is truly caring and protective of me. Let my cry to the Lord be to increase my faith and trust in Him. Thank you Fr. for this inspiring and faith-filled reflection and your prayers for us. Dear Fr Warner, in todays gospel passage the disciples were terrified during the storm. Despite experiencing Jesus' miracles, they chose fear over faith. Sometimes in our lives we do experience moments of fear despair & abandonment especially when our prayers are not answered. Lord help us not to live in a world of fear & chaos but keep our hearts open to the knowledge that the Kingdom of God has come into our midst & the assurance that God is always in control. Thank you for your insights & sincere prayers. Godbless 🙏 💕
