Helped out a lot :) Just to be sure: when you downpitch your vocals (in this case by 2 semitones) do you also pitch the piano down? Or do you just leave that as is. And then apply autotune to the downpitched vocals in the original key?

if you pitch shift the vocals separately (not what he did) he will not be in key, you need to apply the same to every other tonal sound in your mix
