Meytal you are an inspiration! I showed my wife one of your videos and now she wants to learn how to play the drums. Your smile while playing shows that you are truly enjoying yourself, which is a great example for youth as they need to learn to follow their hearts instead of how they can fit into the system to earn a living. As I am sure you know well that when one follows their heart something magical happens.

Meytal I have to thank you for providing consistent drum covers over the past many months and not just any lame song covers but good old rock music drum covers. So yeah keep on kicking those double bass pedals and smashing those drums in Live action because personally that is what I keep looking for and you do a fantastic job and pleaseeeeee keep us updated on your vlog as well lol its been a while since I have seen any update on the log lol.
and teach me how to drum in person lol yeah lol

It's another song I've ever heard her play she do the most talented drummers in the world she has the best phone with so many experience behind she is the best she is the master of the drum set
BTW, this song is harder than most people think, specially if you're a beginner drummer like me. I also love the bass on this song and that guitar solo.

OMG!!! i watched one of her videos and i posted something aboyt how she did 2 out of 3 pf my favorite bands (deftones and tool) and i posted how if she did sublime then id be so happy. and im very happy now, covering one of my favorites. meytal is like god and these comment are our prayers, except only music wise, and i believe in meytal.
it's not the difficulty of the piece but how you feel about it. some of the most simple songs have the greatest impact

Different strokes for different folks. I call it easy. It's gotta groove whether the feel is shuffle or straight.
I'm a professional level drummer. I've been playing since 1991. I still struggle doing this single handed. Either you're an insanely fast jazz or metal drummer or you don't know what you're talking about.
Doing this single handed, nailing the groove without error, nailing the fills, is definitely NOT easy.
I've been playing this song in bands since it was released. I usually do it double-handed on the hats to save energy during a gig. How bout You?

Kevin G He (or she) said that probably cause Bud Gaugh used to have this signature snare beat sound where he would hit the snare drum really hard, just watch any sublime live video. The guy had style!

since you seemed to have missed a few things: A she likes doing songs she loves, doesnt mean its going to be hard. B she also gives free video lessons, which means she is going to do some easier songs like this that has a very easy drum part. C how the hell can you fall asleep to Sublime? they rock!
Also this song is deceivingly difficult
compared to what she does over all, not really. this is one of the easiest songs on her channel. One could argue drums themselves are deceiving in the sense that even the simplest of patterns on a stripped down kit is harder than it looks, a LOT harder. But you would be hard pressed to find easier songs than this on her channel period. maybe 3 are out and out easier? if that even.

Good song, I had my Pearl Drumset tattoo done by the same women that did the Sublime Tattoo on the singers back in Hollywood Ca. I even got to see the original polaroid, which they used the same shot for the album cover.
