I’m a dude we’re the same age and I have a very similar mental hurdle to overcome bc like throughout hs I had a series of very deep crushes on close lady friends who didn’t feel the same way and one after another the rejection just made me not want to even try bc I already knew the outcome and that wasn’t the right reaction I became super self loathing which women could then just feel and ensured the rejection cycle continued ik it’s corny but you really do just have to love yourself first bc that’s the only way to even get in the game to shoot your shot. And tbh pep talks are nice but they often fall on deaf ears like it has to happen in your own heart which Will move to your mind which will move to your body and you’ll find everything falling into place so much easier than before.
I think the issue with the cancelled podcast tour is that they promised all these great stories that they hadn’t told before but then actually just told the same stories as the past
I’d love for you guys to talk about how your friendship was affected when bri went away to school, my best friend just left for college 5 hours away and I’m still in our hometown. It’s been a weird thing to navigate because we used to see each other every day. Much love to you both 🫶
Can only speak from my own experience (and I'm a guy so might be different for ladies) but my literal best friend we even did a blood pact as kids lol but he moved to Cali after college for work and I stayed in NC and we used to hangout everyday since we were in 6th grade it sucks. But everytime he comes home to visit we pickup right where we left off as if he hasn't been gone the whole time and it just gives us days of stories to tell each other and just catch up. So its really not too bad but it does suck at first
