Awesome, what I like was through the entire process. You shown many different styles that can be made and still end up with a nice looking end result. Great work, especially with no power tools.
that brass dust from filing mixed with clear epoxy makes a really nice filler for driftwood pieces. like if you make a coffee table or an end table and need to fill cracks.
My mum is a professional metalsmith, and she loves to see your videos. According to her, you are one of the few RUclipsrs who files properly in one direction 😅
Brass is super-easy to work with compared to steel, as I've come to learn the past few days. My first attempt at making a ring was using a brass pipe fitting and it was incredibly easy to file it. Recently I bought a few steel hex nuts and it's a nightmare if you don't have a dedicated place to work, because it can get incredibly noisy with the amount of filing that needs to be done, so neighbors aren't exactly thrilled lol
good job ! my favorite was with only the line. Once polish it would have been amazing. Witht he round holes.... not so much... a bit better with the square holes (was a good idea BTW) with the strippe... you're right, it's too much details. with the biggers holes, better but I still prefer the first one :-p and it ressemble that dwemner cog ! Keep up the good work !
I think it looks really neat. I couldn't believe it only took you 2 hours. I was thinking it took a long time. I really want to try this. I have a question. Does the naked brass after all that filing turn you green, or do you need to protect it with anything? I'm still rather new at jewelry making and want to do it right. I'd be so embarrassed to sell something if it turned them green. Lol
I would have stopped at the round holes. Another idea would be to make a square slot around the ring and fit a wood ring in there. You could soak the wood in water to soften it to go in easier. Use Gorilla glue that is activated by water to secure it. A harder would be best.
I kut tin a bal teuh a nih mai chu; mahse a mawh love! I khawih ang hi kei khawih ta ila, kei ka kut tin chu balh sa lovin a bal ngei ang le! Anyway, you are very very interestingly talented. May God bless your works!!❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent skills. I don't understand why you used a flange nut as it required more work. Not that you are going to say why. It appears that you never respond to anyone's questions.
I love watching you work it's really relaxing for some reason
Really amazing art work with basic home tools . All with different files tks Anand from Mauritius
You sir Are God Gifted

Beautiful craftsmanship. I love the negative spaces! I don't wear jewelry, but would love to wear this piece of art.
Yeah, brass, copper, is much softer to work with I agree with you there.
I’m still waiting for you to make a knife with coins.
Seriously dude, you got some skills! Awesome work!

Ни одного русского комментария, как странно..
Does look like Skyrim cog
When you’re bored in quarantine
I also wouldn't recommend holding nut in your hand
Good work, sadly you cant really wear this, since you fingers will get green in less than an hour.... :/

You had it with the square holes, then you overworked it.
LMAO it really did look like a dwemer cog.. 😅
Beautiful ! Do you sell your rings ??
I like that ring ! How much ?
brass is not good for skin/health....
