Welcome to the final episode of the 2022 Outback Equipment Budget Build Challenge! Over the last two weeks @theexplorelife , @speyles , @TJANDMAC & @RedDirtDiary have been facing off in our biggest collaboration to date! 4 Teams, 4x 4WDS, & $5,000 each to buy and build a car to tackle a variety of challenges! just reminded my of all the fun time I had camping with the boys when we were young.
Late to the party, binged the entire series tonight! but my favourite part was watching everyone’s reactions to the first reveal of the cars 😂
I reckon a ‘most off road capable non 4x4’ budget build would be hilarious to see what ideas you come up with seeing as Sam built Sid and people do some whack things transplanting commodores/falcons onto other chassis and what not 😂
My family and I loved watching this series. We all laughter and liked different aspects of the builds and challenges. My kids (7 & 12) were glued to the screens too lol.
What a great mix of personalities you all have that mix so well. Would love to see more of this again!

Such a great budget build prize. Good luck to the people joining in the draw. The Delica wining the tug-of-war was a huge surprise. I'm sure like most people who've watched it never saw it coming. A Delica smashing the V8s. The Tug-of-War, and the drag race with a tyre change were my favourite challenges.👍
Favourite part was how you all seemed to have so much fun together, being cheeky, playing tricks on each other etc. Very well done! Thank you for this.
I know they came last, but the RDD's Nissan is probably the vehicle I'd buy and use in real life. Underrated little rig, and the girls took a pretty sensible approach to fixing it up.

I thought it was a great series. I loved seeing what everyone bought and did to their cars. First episode was my favourite one.
This was absolutely my favourite 4wd series I've ever watched..... trust me, I don't have Netflix or anything I only have RUclips premium because I just love these sort of shows.

the way the points worked out was brilliant 1st to 4th in descending order on the board, all the episodes were great and looked like a ton of fun, look forward to the next budget series bet itll be just as mint
I love that you guys built a challenger to give away. When I saw the budget build series I was almost looking to buy one (a challenger) to build myself because I know how good they are.
As for next budget builds. Budget build Utes? Or budget builds for an outback trip (Birdsville, Oodnadatta track etc). 🤷♂️

An idea for the next one, each team gets the same model car and gets a certain budget to put their twist on it :)
Fun. I hadnt seen any of these channels before. Now subscribed to all four after this mini series. Delica is effectively a Mitsubishi Pajero so has some reasonable offroad credibility and you can sleep in the back. Nice win!

Next challenge. Take the budget 4 to Cape York. I think with a little more boost and an intercooler in that TD27 and the girls will take it easy.

Loved it do it again but, you have to randomly swap partners and you all have to build it in the same workshop
would be epic to do another series but 10k. Weather you get a extra 5k on your existing veichles or start from scratch again. but this time it could include patrols, land cruisers ect...

Love it and brought back what 4wding is all about, having fun. We all don't need $200000 vehicles with all the fruit.
By far the most entertaining series. Next challenge take 4x2s to Ngkala Rocks

I think this series ticked all the boxes it was a great watch and I reckon I laughed the hole time.... the biggest surprise for Me was the tug of war delica win... that was gold

Mate favourite part of the series was that all of my favourite RUclipsrs have come together for a heap of fun and all for a good cause at the end. Keep up the good work !!! Hopefully you boys and girls get some more ideas for future content

I can't believe people wrote the delica off. You really need to drive 1 of these things to appreciate the comfort it offers and it has mitsis legendary super select 4x4. Its an off road weapon but still really nice to cruise
