As a Toronto resident and former Timmie’s employee I’m going to try to answer every question you had in one comment. A double double is a way to order your coffee, instead of saying I’d like a coffee with 2 cream two sugar, we just say double double, or triple triple, or “medium black”, “medium 2 cream” and so on. This is only at Tim Hortons that we tend to leave the word coffee out lol and you tell the employees so they can do it with the cream and sugar machine because yeah, the ratio will not be the same if you add your own cream and sugar to a black coffee. The iced cap can be made in a variety of ways but the original as is iced cap is made with cream, no additions, and yes you should of been given a straw lol. The turkey bacon club does not come with cheese but you could ask them to add it. The timbits are whack now. We used to have sooooo many flavours, even temporary “Tim bieb’s” which was Justin Bieber timbits which put some extra flare on the remaining flavours we have now. The plain you had is “original plain” there is a glazed version of that at some locations, the glazed plain one was actually a “honey dip”, my kids love those but they’re whack for an adult palette lol sprinkle is “birthday”, chocolate is “chocolate” The remaining doughnuts we have now are still great, the honey cruller, sour cream, and toasted coconut are my faves. My go to lunch was always a chilli with a large bun buttered, with a medium iced cap and a honey cruller. Love the Canadian series Ben! Can’t wait to see what else you do here.
Kind of interesting that you're enjoying the food, because since Tim Hortons was bought out by Burger King in 2014 the quality has gotten significantly worse.
@@_.RUclipsBad_. Could be nostalgia tax, but timmies from my youth, early 2000s was a completely different experience. They just serve repackaged slop now. The icecaps and the hot drinks are all flavourless garbage.

Timmy’s is so good. I remember when my fiance and I went to Niagara Falls NY and stopped at a bunch along the way. I always thought it was only in Canada.
Tim Hortons seems more of a Buffalo based company considering there’s one on every corner in WNY and has been for decades. It’s crazy going to any American city and not seeing them everywhere.
American cities that have an NHL hockey team have them. I live near Cleveland, and there aren't any. If I drive an hour or so west (Detroit Redwings) south (Columbus Bluejackets) east (Shittsburgh Penguins) , I can get some Timbits and a double double. Not sure how it is around the rest of the country.
Definitely recommend a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with x-tra butter 👀, and also a french vanilla or blackberry yuzu sparkling quencher as a bevy for it.
Tim Hortons is no longer fully “Canadian” anymore. Since about a decade ago, it’s now a Canadian-American company with its majority shareholder based in Brazil. Thus, its presence in other countries. It used to be exclusive to Canada before it was bought out. As a number of people have indicated, the food used to be better. I agree. I noticed the decline in the food quality since the change in ownership. My sister works for Nestle and her husband used to as well and they said that the chilli was supplied by Nestle Canada. Nestle Canada also supplied the hot chocolate sold in the large canisters. However, since the change in ownership, we’re not sure if they still do supply for them or if they’ve changed most or all of their suppliers. I prefer McDonald’s coffee way more. I find that Timmy’s coffee is very acidic. When you drink it black instead of adding sugar and cream, you could taste the acidity. Even their ‘slow-roasted’ coffee tastes acidic. BTW…Drinking coffee black is the best way to test coffee out at an unfamiliar place for the first time. I guess you can consider me a quality snob since members of my family are in the food industry. Needless to say, we generally don’t like the food and drinks at Timmy’s with the exception of a few select donut flavours.
@CockroachMunchingKrabbyPatty I didn’t say it’s all bad, but that it has generally declined since after the change in ownership. I would rate the sandwiches at about 4/10 (cold food), chilli higher at about 7.5/10 (hot food), coffee at 5/10, and my preferred donuts at 8/10 (if I exclude the ones I don’t like to give them a higher average just to be nice - Otherwise, I would rate it a 6.5 on avg). This averages out to about 6.1/10 for me. Taste is subjective so everyone has their own standards and opinions. I’m curious how you would rate them…
also Tim Hortons is a part of the same group of Burger King.. interesting because doesn't exist any Tim Hortons in Brazil and have a tons of Burger King stores.
There are so many delicious items that they discontinued over the years. Ham and Cheese Biscuits, Chicken Salad Sandwiches, the in store juice fountain (Peach was the best!), Walnut Crunch donuts (they recently brought them back temporarily), Orange Glazed donuts, cherry twist donuts, the fancy pastries like Eclairs, gingerbread men, glazed strawberry tarts, the bread bowl for soup or chilli, and the English Toffee drink. Also the Timbits you ate were Plain, Honey Dipped, Chocolate Glazed, and Birthday Cake.
Glad to see you trying out Timmies Ben! Like a lot of other fellow Canadians opinion, the quality of the food has definitely gone down over the years but there's some things I still get tempted to get every now and then from the menu. (Timbits, Breakfast Wraps, Icecapp, etc.)
They have so much demand now that the machines are often down for maintenance or repairs... it was probably the employees just didn't wanna bother telling people they couldn't make iced capps for a while cause entitled customers throw a fit so they just kept serving them even tho the machine can't make them proper (i am speaking from personal experience)
As a Canadian, I'm happy to see you try our food💙 The farmers wrap do be FIRE bro. My favorite lunch item from tims. You should have gotten a hockey card pack too as a souvenir lol.
Bro I used to work at a Tim's ages ago and what's crazy is that alot of people order triple triples or some even get a "4x4" which is 4 creams and 4 sugars. At that point the cup has more cream and sugar than actual coffee lmao
3 things as I noticed as a Canadian: 1. I'm so glad he didn't order the timmies pizza 2. Getting timmies through delivery has to be the most insane way to get it considering how that iced capp looked 3. Lots of people know about the timmies x justin bieber collab, but their Always Fresh apparel line is genuinely something I wear in public on the regular
I’m British and feel very comfortable saying that Tim Hortons is superior to Greggs. Also, it’s not normal for any delivery to take as long as it did for the Greggs delivery so I dunno what happened there. Even for me in the outskirts of London it’s max 30 minutes for most delivery.
From what I heard, since Burger King bought Tims, Tim's dropped their original provider of their coffee beans. And that company now supplies Mcdonalds coffee. Which I think why most people suddenly ended up loving Mcdonalds Coffee more than Tims today.
a double double is just a coffee with 2 sugars and 2 cream. Never on the menu but every place anywhere in Canada will know what you want when you ask for it. Also that ice cap looks very odd, should be basically a slurpee texture. I'd suggest just go in to a timmies and get one (instead of delivering it) so it doesn't melt.

As much as I still love Tims, I can't help but wish foreigners could try it before it was purchased by Burger King's parent company and ruined it. I still think Tims is good but compared to how it was before is saddening. It's good, but it's not old Tims good. That old coffee was like a drug. I'm happy you still enjoyed it though. Also to add one last point, an iced capp is supposed to be like a slushy, but it probably sat a little too long so the slush melted a little too much which left some ice at the top while it melted to liquid at the bottom.
I will say Tim Horton’s food and coffee used to be soooo much better. But their donuts are the best donuts I’ve ever had, I’ve yet to try anything better. Also, if you order a double-double in person or drive thru, it’s just a regular coffee, and then two creamers and two sugars. We have buttons on the machine that dispense the correct amount depending on the size you order!
The fact that people order double double is a testament to how terrrible and burned TH coffee is all the time. I cannot believe how many fall into the hype and wait in line or at a huge drive in line when you can get better coffee at the gas station across the street. And no it doesn't make you more Canadian to waste your time in a TH line up despite their commercials.
tims heart died years ago when they stopped making donuts in house. i miss those days. also too bad tims changed the coffee if you want tims coffee you need to goto mcdonalds now.
Hi, I have to say of all the vlogs I've seen of yours, this is the best display of food by a country mile. The amount of filling in each sandwich, is insane and each item is put together with care. The amount of bacon, not wafer thin and the beef. Wow and free dippin' bread. I'm well impressed mate. All the best. 😎☯️🌱
As a Canadian, I can recommend a few things if you're still around. Check out Mary Browns for some great fried chicken. A&W in Canada has a different menu. And lastly, you've gotta try an east coast (halifax) donair. It's a staple over here in Nova Scotia. 🍻
@@kyles5513 Mary Browns is great depending on the location. The one near my house keeps overcooking their chicken, other ones I've been to are good. Popeyes used to be good until they swapped out the sandwich for the American one. Our old Canadian sandwich at popeyes was much much much better.
We've had Tim Hortons for a few years now but when they opened up a new spot here in the UK they had a special opening offer of a drink and breakfast muffin for 2 quid. Was addictive 😅

I'm from Canada. Love the Timbits, occasionally, they usually have a couple of powdered doughnuts. The Jelly filled doughnuts yum, but they usually only have one left 😢The Chicken wrap, and their toasted bagel with cream cheese on the side. Their tea is really good. Their ice capp is full of sugar, so I make my own at home. Those are the only things I order when I do go through Timmy's . Which I eat super healthy now. But that is a treat once in awhile. I heard they have pizza, but haven't tried it. I am a NHL hockey 🏒 fan, Go Oilers! So I will go through and order something to get a pack of hockey cards!😂 When that promotion is on. Great video. New sub here.

Please try A&W next! Also Tim Horton Doughnuts are pretty solid, you should try them.
Did he not eat doughnuts in this video lol
I subscribed to your channel and this was my first time seeing you. When you go to a Canadian Staple and give such a great review i had to.
You got two of my fav donuts… Crueller is in the top 3…. Maybe #1
Dude you’re so humble when you eat. Great content as always. Happy to see you enjoying our Canadian breakfast and snack icon.
@@Win7ermu7e i'm so glad to be a tea drinker cus their tea tastes almost exactly like the tea i have at home
You really need to find some better donuts. Tims donuts have been relatively terrible for years now.
Try Krispy Kremes donuts, I had them the other day, far better than tims.
Glad you enjoyed our pride canadian fastfood. Soooo many memories as a canadian linked to Tim
How canadians order coffee at Tims...
"Double double" - 2 cream 2 sugar
"Single"- 1 cream 1 sugar
"Trip trip" - 3 cream 3 sugar
"4x4"- you get it.
Trip trip 😂😂
I am Canadian, have lived in Canada my entire life.. and have *never* heard somebody use “Trip Trip” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I hear triple triple instead, and regular for 1 cream 1 sugar
Hi, I have to say of all the vlogs I've seen of yours, this is the best display of food by a country mile.
The amount of filling in each sandwich, is insane and each item is put together with care. The amount of bacon, not wafer thin and the beef.
Wow and free dippin' bread.
I'm well impressed mate.
All the best. 😎☯️🌱
You got all the best stuff pretty much
Those farmers wraps are the fucking bomb, i usually get bacon added as well. A coffee and wrap on the way to work just warms me up inside.
MY GOAT IN CANADA FR!
YESSSSIRRR
If charles white was a mukbanger
As a Canadian, I can recommend a few things if you're still around. Check out Mary Browns for some great fried chicken. A&W in Canada has a different menu. And lastly, you've gotta try an east coast (halifax) donair. It's a staple over here in Nova Scotia. 🍻
What's different than the American one?
A&W is the best fast food restaurant here. Mary Browns is terrible.
@@kyles5513 Mary Browns is great depending on the location. The one near my house keeps overcooking their chicken, other ones I've been to are good. Popeyes used to be good until they swapped out the sandwich for the American one. Our old Canadian sandwich at popeyes was much much much better.
People wait 30 mins in the drive thru just for an iced cap in the morning. Tims really knows their customers
26:19 I guess we ain’t going to find out 😅
This is good to hear. Haven’t been to Tim’s in ages. People have been saying the quality has been going downhill since ownership changed.
good video unc
The pricing at Tim hortons is actually normal. You can get fed for a few bucks
It's so annoying how most delivery drivers always expect a tip. You get paid either way, find another job bozos.
We've had Tim Hortons for a few years now but when they opened up a new spot here in the UK they had a special opening offer of a drink and breakfast muffin for 2 quid. Was addictive 😅
tim hortons is dog shit , this coming as a Canadian
sour cream glazed donuts from Tim's is my favourite!! I get my iced capps made with chocolate milk, so good
Honesty best place to eat breakfast
Tom hortons is trash
@ Well, opinions are opinions, but I think they are good.
Ben, this was the best video. So many things that were great in this video that I loved, but don't have enough characters to talk about. Much love ❤
I'm feeling really motivated.
Could you share some details about the bi-weekly topic you brought up?
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Maria Luisa Clare, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Maria L Clare is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
Wow 😱 I know her too!
Miss Maria Luisa Clare is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
I got started with a miserly $1500. The results have been mind blowing I must say TBH!!
“All I can smell is sticky-icky in the air” 😂 damn right there’s dispensary’s on every block in Toronto
This was proper Tim’s. If only it was always this consistent
Canadian out here in BC, I enjoyed this video, first time viewer, I hit that subscribe button 🫡
My man was legit nutting over that Turkey Bacon Club 🤣🤣🤣 It's my go-to sandwich too bro lol, much love from NS!
Someone must've advised you on what to get. Those are the best items at Tim Horton's by far. Sour Cream Glazed is hands down the best doughnut ever. Really enjoyed the video.
i lived right on the canadian border in the us, and timmy's was a staple in my morning schedule. this gives me nostalgia
I can appreciate the nice big bites you take or a healthy amount of drink, I feel you're giving it a proper go and I like that. Enjoy more Canadian staples and see you in the next video.
It’s a little shameful how proud I am of Tim’s representing
Damn Ben, it looks amazing! Do another video with their other menu items.
Turkey bacon club with extra cheese, extra bacon, honey mustard, and either Chipotle or ranch.. OMG- heaven
Farmers wrap with Bacon and Sausage and extra sauce is one of the best breakfast items in all of fast food
the fast forward effect on ben unwrapping everything with the sound on and back to normal chill ben was funny as hell lol.
Hi Ben, been watching you for quite a while now. So enjoy your videos. Timmy's yeah! My go to turkey, bacon sandwich and the chili, reminds me of my Mom's. Enjoy your visit with your wife, congrats. BTW I'm Canadian!!!
20% tip is pretty generous, ngl. A lot of people don't tip because of the already inflated costs associated with Uber Eats. The driver loses out half the time.
It's not generous. It's crazy 🤡
@maitrehg 😂
Loved Tim Hortons! You could find me there every Saturday morning getting a dozen donuts and a few bagel sandwiches. Hated it when they left the US.
Can't wait to see what canadian food you try next :D
Convenient how his camera dies right before he’s about to chose between timmy’s and greggs 😭🤣
Oh man, I haven't had the farmer's wrap in ages! Going to have to get one. I do miss the broccoli soup that they served long ago. You should try the Korean food in Toronto (especially in Markham).
Ben are you in Canada right now?? Welcome! 🇨🇦 Tim Hortons is a great choice 😄
26:17 what a move you sneaky Ben! Avoided the judgment hahah
at the tims i worked at for a while, everything came in frozen doughnuts cookies buns bagels, all frozen, and the bacon is ready crisp bacon that's microwaved then put in a warming tray. i've only heard of 1 tim hortons in ontario that still makes stuff fresh.
i’ve watched u since undergrad all the way through med school. first year working in the hospital now. crazy that ur now in toronto too, id treat you to a meal for all the nights i spent eating my takeout meals watching one of your uploads!
As a Canadian I super excited that u love our Timmy's foods. Awesome video!! Tc have a wonderful weekend
i really enjoy your style of videos. u a vibe
the farmers wrap is great love it today I've asked my dad to pick me up a triple triple and a honey Krueler when he comes home
