@@aaronching5129 well its entirely a waste of money, literally lighting your money on fire lol. You just have to understand your spending money for the entertainment value. I look at going to the casino the same way. I go there for the fun of it knowing that im likely going to lose my money.
@@07slowbalt i totaly agree but hey... you only live once right? if you got the extra loot lying around, go have some fun and make some epic memories 🤙🤙
Covering exposed sections of fuse with aluminum foil can help with fuse jump, and a lot of people have it in their kitchen already......no added cost. Aluminum HVAC tape is popular as well , but would be an added expense for most. Most pyros know this old trick already, but I hope it may help a newbie who doesn't want his huge(and expensive) planned show to be over in 60 seconds due to fuse jumps he wasn't expecting. Good job Cody!
That grey fuse has better resistance to side ignition than I'd have thought! I gotta say though- someone actually found a way to make a 36 shot happy even cheaper... Normally, they alternate small poof bursts of red and green with small crackle breaks. (the OG version used 3 or 4 ladyfingers instead of crackle- yeah, I'm old, lol) This one was just a 36 shot color pearl cake with a few dragon eggs thrown in... I'm a fan of those fountain/cake combos. Garden in Spring; Blue Stars w/reports; Desert at Night. True, some are just cheap crap- but others are worth it. The GiS in this video had a pretty nice fountain. They're fun "backyarder" items- not too big or loud, just right for scratching the itch! That's why I buy the med assortments, and smaller items, like base fountains,- for fun shooting. (keeps me out of my real stash!)
My favorite part of the whole video was “God Damn That Was Epic!!” Because of the excitement in your voice on knowing how well that went!! Unfortunately this year I’m broke and can’t do anything of my own with fireworks so I’ll just be going downtown to watch them. You’re the best pyrotech!! Big fan here!!
I did the same thing this past year. I would put together different kits for people wether they had 50$ or 500$ and cater them a nice package mix from fountains, aerial repeaters, cakes, mortars, rockets and some green fuse wire if they wanted to fuse multiple things together.
I'm thankful to live somewhere where fireworks are allowed and even strongly encouraged. There are nice public displays, but nothing beats a personal display with the personal touch. 🐻💥 My favorites are of course the ones with the nice loud "BOOM!" It's satisfying.
I have plans on doing a show for my family in honor of my father in law that recently passed away from Cancer on for the Fourth of July. I’m gonna create a Milk Crate Mortar Cake for the finale show. Your work is great and easy to follow. I hope I find some great deals this year leading up to the fourth. Thanks for the upload.
@@user-xe5eq9br1c The show was postponed until December of 2022. I had to push it back to Christmas due to a lot of the family not being available to either be there or watch. His birthday was on December 13th, so a Christmas Memorial Display worked out. It was cold, but I made it work. It lasted for about 15 minutes which equates to around $600 of fireworks from my favorite local fireworks store, Intergalactic Fireworks. Everyone loved it and a few tears were shed when the Blue Segment (His favorite color) went through. Thanks for asking.
My 4 year old daughter loves fireworks as much as I do. So we also do fireworks on her b'day 7-24 so she get fireworks twice in one month. I showed her this and she has picked out 24 200 gram cakes and 12 40 gram cheap canister shells As the finale I will try on a bored like this it gives me one of the biggest smile on my face has seeing her and my favorite firework shop around where I live which is big fireworks she has so much fun and she goes for she prefers like 200 gram cakes and like 8 oz bottle rockets and stuff like that. She loves the FMJ 40 gram canister shells from big fireworks they are cheap $20.00 for 12 shells all different affects.

Thanks for the video.god bless america.we are still a free & indapendant country! That was absolutly awesome how u did that.thanks!
That was actually much better than i thought it would be. I picked 3 boxes of frogman 5" shells 4 boxes of 4" assasins. ⁴ boxes black pearl 5" and 2 boxes of tatical pequines 6" .
I think the best 4th of July I had was 2016. I spent a little over $300 in my little hometown firework store. I had several hours of fun lighting bottle rockets etc the whole day. Not to mention mortar shells, rockets, cakes etc. the one vid on my channel is me lighting a corona rocket. In that little firework store he gives you free stuff for however much you spend. He couldn’t find the right thing for me spending over $300 so he just threw a handful of stuff in lol. A 👍 up on this video for sure.
Dude i don't normally comment. But that was extremely impressive for less than $30. I'm amazed at how well you put it together. I'm inspired to try a finale board because of you. Thank you

this is actually pretty brilliant.. you used the roman candles as a firewall against fuse jump which happened; but not to the detriment of the show.. Well Done.
Shared it with my closest friend. Half way through the video and it seems like its going to be a good little setup. Also nice Roman candle rack 👌 keep up the videos!
I do a similar finale board every year, but with 300 shot saturn missiles and lots of decent 200g cakes, finishing with a couple of 500g cakes and a dozen canister shells in an apple crate shell rack.
Wow great video Cody! I already got my case of panda, you gave me a great idea and i will do my own little panda box finale😹🎆 Liked and shared with my friend 👍🏼
Love the Tutorial and the overall idea is fantastic for creative ways of using Assortments, it would cool to have some fuse jumping, just to change it up or fuse at both ends and rearrange the display to speed it up, very creative
