Since it was thuo who call the club and not vice versa..how then did all those people gang up and they were not expecting him at the place ..I don't know how conclusion is made for verdict.
Murder cannot be planned in a day or two. May be they had taken a while to plan and reharse till they were comfortable Then they waited for the day. How come some pesat with him through the whole period Were there no other customers to be talked to or anything else to be done. Its suspicious but I fell sorry for everyone involved more sore the victim.
The judge did a very bad job.... should have investigated whether the lady that opened the beer knew Thuo was in the club, through communication with him or anyone else. She seems the culprit.
The lady was there to ask for change but when she saw him she decided to buy him a beer, of all the suspects I highly doubt she was in involved in the poisoning one person of interest that is not mentioned is the bar man.
It makes no sense to sentence all the suspects due to failure of proper investigations its normal for people to hang around a popular person .what the investigations failed to do is to establish the motive of the murder and role played by the accused .10 yrs is too long to come up with a shoddy sentencing.
Forensic investigation in Africa is a laughing matter. Detectives are highly inefficient and extremely underfunded. Trying to accuse the wife was stabbing her the second time after she lost her dear husband. That Watahi lady physically put the poison, and the rest of them probably knew the plan. The waiter is the only person who is likely to be innocent. The guy was probably not a good person but he wasn't supposed to die that way.
I agree this was poor forensic investigation and with a huge rush to judgement that feels more like a cover up than incompetence. You don't really need 6-7 people to kill someone by poisoning any one of the people with him could have done it without the rest knowing.
Judgement in Kenya sometimes is shocking . There is no clear explanation of how all the six were involved in murder..which role did each of them play?Did this judge graduate from an institution in Kenya?its sad that someone innocent was imprisoned.
Personally I know the parents of one of those who were found guilty. We thought the case had died a natural death since it took so long. Also rumours thought it was political and hence could have been sorted chini chini. The sudden judgement of guilt for all of them was shocking. I wish all murder cases were dealt with like this. Maybe the family followed it up actively.
@mwangiplus I think what led to their imprisonment is being present on a crime scene and also being the last people to be in contact with the deceased. However there was no valid evidence to directly link them with the murder
Thika nshawai ibiwa laptop mtaani through drugs, ile yakusalimiwa tu na mtu ananijua. A friend of mine was stabbed in Thika. With this mchele things and poison in Thika, I fear it more than Kanairo.
Good to hear you. This was a predetermined case. The presiding judge relied on circumstantial evidence and mostly suspicion. The prosecution could not prove the case beyond ANY reasonable doubt According to the judge, ,'accused 3 And 4 were only guilty of being at the table which they were working from, From as early as three pm. She further states that the presence of acc. 3 and 4 at that table was suspect. There are four instances where Thuos drink could have been poisoned, if at all there was such poisoning. There was no justice, no investigations and no humanity. It was just a waste of time and a demonstration of how unjust our systems are. All in all it was our judicial system that was on trial. Most of the accused are innocent especially no 3. and 4.
This one took me back to 2007. It's sad that all the characters in this case are very suspicious of that murder, but I have a feeling someone was jailed wrongfully. As usual, much appreciation from this silent shadower! And your voice girl is amazing.
LOOOOOK, 15 years each for murder?? What a light sentence? It's 10 years of the case, 15 years sentence you will serve 7 and a half, are they not already out? They want to end the case but satisfy family that somebody was jailed for it. A judge was paid or told to end this case but in a smart way. We missed you here. Thank you so much for the good work you're always doing. We see it❤. In future would you kindly investigate the case of Willis Ayieko and the three ladies from Eastleigh?
The woman who bought him bear could be the one who did the poisoning. She might have been hired to do so and make a scenario for requesting change. Her involvement in the matter leaves a lot of questions
True the judge is not justified to find all persons guilty cz it seems all these persons are found guilty on different reasons the woman cz he brought the drink open the waiter cz he had a chance to serve and time ... The rest cz they were with him so wea is the concept of no reasonable doubt apply here.... Atlist he shud have gone to wea the weight was heavy... The waiter shud appeal wat cud she have done wen her work is simply to serve drinks
The prosecution honestly did the bare minimum in terms of the investigation. If they had checked the suspects' phones and tracked their movements in the days leading up to the murder, they might have been able to connect the dots

The judge and prosecution did a poor job. They had to jail all of them just to get rid of the case. I don't think such an intrinsic murder could have been concocted by a crowd. The prosecution could have a given that last lady who bought the drink a deal and she could have sung. Probably the actual perpetrator could have gotten life in prison.

Evil and wickedness is real.
In Kenya, beyond reasonable doubt does not apply. Even if any of them possessed the chemical used to poison Thuo and there's no evidence to show that they actually put it in his drink, then it's still circumstantial evidence. How many people does it take to spike a drink? The waiter opened the drink at the table. Based on this narrative, the only drink that seems suspicious is the one brought by that lady. I feel for the innocent that may be in this case.
This sentencing of 6 individuals tel,ls you how incompetent our judicial system is. The person who killed Thuo is Watahi who bought and brought him an opened beer, looking for a change and then buying a wealthy former MP beer, hugging him, and being the lasst to serve him opened beer, places you squarely as the 'murderer, you can't acquit yourself of that. The rest, DJ, owner, waitress(who opened first beer in Thuo's presence) are wrongly convicted, no evidence. Why did Thuo complain of fever shortly after consuming Watahi's beer and not the first one from waitress? The poison being first-acting as described by chemists and pathologists, should have had Thuo complain after waitress's beer. It's only after Watahi came and served opened to the victim thaat he started complaining shortly after. How long does it take for a man to empty one beer or drink halfway? The shortest time it would take for one not in a hurry would be 40 mins or thereabouts. Ordinarily, even a painkiller after 20 mins of intake you start to feel an effect. If the first beer from waitress was spiked, Thuo would have complained or start showing signs of effect or unwellness in 30 mins. Only after being served Watahi's opened beer that he started complaining. There is no mention of Watahi being left behind after buying him beer because she needed not be there after poisoning him.
Looks like it was an easy case.. Someone liased with the lady who came and bought him the drink.to bring thr poison..that woman should have been jailed
The risks we go through sharing a table with someone who could be on the radar of killers can easily land you in jail for several years. You could actually be sentenced to death for a crime you never committed.
Probably not all six were involved but definitely one or some of them were involved. How is it they took him to a nearby hospital and waited for an hour trying to resuscitate him before going to Aga Khan? A whole hour? giving time for the poison to do its thing. Guilty AF!
I think the biggest mistake he did was to be there throughout from beginning to end. Unless he was a very close friend. If he was an employee there, he could have left at some point to attend to other people. Life can have a drastic change. Maybe they will apeal and be acquited since they had very good lawyers.
Of all the suspects jailed I think she was unfairly jailed it was coincidental that she found him there and decided to buy him a drink which was picked by the waitress and taken to him while opened she couldn't have poisoned his drink because the waitress and the barman would have seen her doing it, there was a flower farm just before thika on the highway am sure they use those insecticides to spray their crop what if he breathed a lethal dose of the drug as he drove by just a possibility but one thing for sure the investigations were HORRIBLE.
That case was deficient, itwill get overturned in the court of appeal and that judge will likely get reprimanded in their judgement,u cannot convict multiple people without common intention,,,there was no evidence that they worked together nor any evidence that implicated one person, that judge is foolish, ati the fact they didn't leave the table,😂🙆kwani the guy was blind, not to mention he waitress, she was doing her job,her job is to deliver drinks and because of it,she got convicted, maybe one of them killed him but it is wasnt all 7,u cannot say that the waitress spiked the drink on the way while simultaneously saying that the fact the men were on the table makes them guilty, which is which, then going on to say the cooks are involved, was that drink spiked three times
I agree with you. Maybe the prosecution also did a bad job. You should pursue one narrative that is consistent. The owner and the waitress, you have just been charged with interfering with a crime scene or trying to cover up murder. Then look for a narrative that places the culprits in collusion. Like calls or meetings. This will be quashed on appeal.
I too agree with you. Criminal cases should be proven beyond reasonable doubt. This wasn't the case. Besides what was their motive to kill the guy. What did they stand to gain? Chances are these guys were compensated for their troubles and the judge may have been compromised too. The whole thing makes no sense
The saddest thing about betryal is that it never comes from enemies😭😭😭

How long does it take for a man to empty one beer or drink halfway? The shortest time it would take for one not in a hurry would be 40 mins or thereabouts. Ordinarily, even a painkiller after 20 mins of intake you start to feel an effect.
If the first beer from waitress was spiked, Thuo would have complained or start showing signs of effect or unwellness in 30 mins. Only after being served Watahi's opened beer that he started complaining. There is no mention of Watahi being left behind after buying him beer because she needed not be there after poisoning him.
Took you long enough you should have a netflix show of this stuff.?incredible
Thank you for watching❤🕵
Great narration skills
This is a very good and informative channel. But i have a suggestion, try putting some background music to add some suspense

Oh my goodness, thats scary 😨
And the imprisonment of the owner led to the collapse of his club
I've always wondered why porkies collapsed.

@@muthomiabner5727 the owner has shares in another big club pale thika entrance (V spot)
It was never his in the 1st place,he had leased the place. It was taken back by the real owner then the management failed, hence the closure.
The case finished sheki Kabisa...ungeona sheki before he was doing so well financially

It's been long without uploading y the long hiatus??
The risks we go through sharing a table with someone who could be on the radar of killers can easily land you in jail for several years. You could actually be sentenced to death for a crime you never committed.
💯💯💯
Probably not all six were involved but definitely one or some of them were involved. How is it they took him to a nearby hospital and waited for an hour trying to resuscitate him before going to Aga Khan? A whole hour? giving time for the poison to do its thing. Guilty AF!
Was shocked about MC Wizzy being involved in this case 🤦🏿♀️
For him it could have been a case of being at the wrong place💯
Me too,it's shocking how I have a pic with him in club vspot
I think the biggest mistake he did was to be there throughout from beginning to end. Unless he was a very close friend. If he was an employee there, he could have left at some point to attend to other people. Life can have a drastic change. Maybe they will apeal and be acquited since they had very good lawyers.
That Watahi woman
Was used to poison that man...question is...by who??😢
Sad that the mastermind is walking free.
Here we go he was taken to Thika where their fam doctor and tried resacitate

You are back.
I had missed you.
Asante for tuning in!
Was it not Louis Moreno Ocampo then in the ICC?
By part yes, Ocampo served from as the ICC prosecutor 2003 to 2012 and Bensouda took over from June 2012 and June 2021.
Apart frm the water and the other lady who appeared later on I don't see the connection between the rest and this case all innocent
