Congrats on the second run of the Lone Star I have used it everyday since I received it. An extremely good razor, IMO. I fully agree about the artisan bar soaps. Much better than bars or liquid soaps from anywhere.
Hi Bary! Thanks for the review! I have been using Stirling for years. I like Stirling because I can get 5 ounces of bar soap for 5 bucks and it lasts me 5 weeks with daily use. I'm sure Subtle Art's bar soap is good quality, but at $7.50 for a 4 ounce bar, I will stick with Stirling which is also good quality. Have a great day 😊
I agree! Stirling is a great price and a great bar soap. I have many with more on the way! What I dont like about stirling bar soaps is how soft they get when about half used. But as with anything in this wonderful world of artisan products YMMV. Thank you so much for watching.

I would be interested in finding out how many used the Squatch as their gateway into better soaps. I know that was the case for me. Now the only one I'll use of their is their aloe vera. I have a delta of about 1.50 per ounce of bath soap, which makes it difficult for me to click on add to cart/buy. I will say the shave soap I got in the deals department I'm in love with so it doesn't surprise me their bath soap is on par with their shave soap in quality. Subtle Art is one of two companies I check the deals section often on to see if something catches my eye. They're definitely doing something right for me to do that.
🤚I owe Dr Squatch credit where it’s due. They were my gateway to soaps but most importantly DE shaving, when they teamed up with Henson for their Dr. Squatch razor. That lead me down the rabbit 🕳. I like it down here😂
🥶👑 - I dabbled in bar soaps, bar shampoo and conditioner before my DE journey as well. Dr. Squatch and I got some Duke from a Ross 😂. And another one you probably tried Buff city soaps which is boosted in popularity in Texas, but I never tried the masculine scents. They have a shave soap I think I was going to try but I got lazy went back to using shower gel recently. I do use bar soap when I travel got some Duke and it smells awesome. I have switched to bar conditioner and shampoo full time. When I run out of my current gel and shampoo I'm going to look into this company, and Stirling, since they have shower gel, bar soap and shampoo etc.
I actually have a Buff City Soaps shave bar. I have yet to use it. I have a couple of their body bars as well. So many soaps, so little time lol. Thanks for watching my friend!
Too funny, I've been buying bath soap for years in order to see if it's a scent that I want to get in the S&P. It's something I will need to buy anyway, so why not kill two birds with one stone. I keep all the pieces and make a Frankenstein bar when I get enough. With PAA I'll try a scent in the deodorant, but I have to be pretty certain of a scent. That's how I found my favorite deodorant Fresca, it works awesome, but I've never got the S&P-lol! Well, I'll have to sign up for this round! I have an idea for a stand and if it turns out well, I might make a mold of it a do some resin casts of it. Have a great one Bary!
Ok Barry I resisted the first run but all your gloating about how great the razor is blah blah blah…. Sucked me back in and I just signed up😂 My son stole my timeless aluminum slant so this will replace that. Does the razor come with a stand? Can’t remember. PS I have been using the Stirling bath soaps and they are excellent as well. Have a great day and I also love Mullys corny jokes!
Dont take my word for it, check out others reviews of the Lone Star lol. I am just a tiny bi biased on it 🤣. Stirling body soaps are very good. But give Subtle Art a try when looking for some next time. You wont regret it. Thank you for watching!
