- As Heathcliff chases Spike through a grocery store, Sonja meets Wally the Wonder Cat, a movie star she thinks is more "sophisticated" than Heathcliff. When Heathcliff finds out he tries to be more "mature" to impress Sonja.
I remember this episode very well as a kid. Saw a lot back then. Nothing like great cartoons in the 80s.

So its a cartoon, I still love Healthcliff to this day. Im 56. & still think young like a kid again. Love the Robot!! btw. teehee. 😁😄😊

Yep and I was surprised that they showed a panty shot and the only time you see animated panties is in Japanese Anime.
Western Animation had a great deal of those in the 80s; Chipettes, Zoe from Fantastic Max, Velma on a Pup named Scooby Doo, etc

If Wally the supposed to be " Wonder cat" really liked Sonja he wouldn't have used her to be his slave.

I see that Sonya is no different from any other female character on TV. She is a total hypocrite finding other men attractive, but god forbid Heathcliff mentions another woman. Sonya then goes apeshit.

It seems that they apparently liked reusing this same story line over and over again every few episodes with little variation, it appears to me as though the writers for the show over at DiC must have constantly been strapped for new ideas or something.
The plot is basically almost always the same as follows:
-Sonja is enamored with a supposedly more "sophisticated" or "mature" good looking male cat (Pecks, Wally the Wonder Cat, Boom Boom Pussini.etc) and temporarily leaves Heathcliff for said cat.
-Heathcliff gets insanely jealous and vows he will win her back at any cost.
-He finds out about some sort of weakness or damaging dirt on the cat to use against him. (Reveals him as a fraud, a total weenie or coward.etc)
-Heathcliff confronts the girlfriend stealing cat and makes mincemeat out of him.
-Sonja comes running back to Heathcliff after finally realizing the other cat was not as great as she believed, they then kiss and make up.
Episode over...
And that ladies and gentlemen pretty much breaks down and describes in detail every other Heathcliff episode in the series where this happens.
Same was done with Riff Raff/Cleo at times in the whole romantic jealousy stakes
+Hulk2k6 I know right, they recycled this same thing so many times between the two segments with little to no variation. Every other few episodes it seems is one of these "main character's girl likes other cat, they get jealous and vow to win her back" plots and every single time you can see it coming from a mile away what will happen at the end. It's just so predictable that Heathcliff will find a way in which to upstage the other guy and/or beat the ever living crap out of him, then of course Sonja will inevitably come running back into his waiting arms because she realizes that he's the real man and truly cares for her. Same with Riff Raff, because of course he'll eventually get Cleo back as he finds himself in the same boat as Heathcliff when the exact same crisis befalls him.
@@justinmiddleton8818 If the two universes crossed over, Cleo probably would ran off with Heathcliff just to rub Riff's nose in it, if only for 11 minutes lol

@Dana Richman Well, it seems even with her doing that every so often she always goes running back to Heathcliff without fail. Pretty much like Olive Oyl always comes back to Popeye in their series after being enamored by Bluto/Brutus (sometimes in other forms) in much the same way.
I gotta say, Heathcliff must be THE most forgiving male cat ever or something. No matter how many times Sonja becomes enamored by some other guy she’ll always come back to him and he’s just fine. It's always kiss and make up.

Always remember I never wanted to fall back in the same zhit, seems like I had plans to do me and people with problems think or convince we do this but in reality, I didn't want be made to look like we have problems but,"we suppose to be one happy FaM, but u leave me for dead and the excuse or assumption is "we always do this to him, he suppose forgive but he didn't want someone to assume or take my silence mistaked for a coconspirator.when revenge goes wrong and swepted under the rug and something else is presented I ain't following good or evil I got bothered and was asked to go along with it, felt like I got molested,I guess precious is what they have to say....fucc em.
