Thanks again for making great ATC videos. I like the packing tape trick to protect seals!!👍. On that lower “clevis” there is a notch that faces the rear, so you setting on the knob will be correct. (200X and 350X)
So, I'm assuming you must have a chain drive Big Red currently? A 200E? My suggestion would be to save yourself a lot of time and just buy a 200ES, OR, if you want the power of a 250ES, just get a 250ES. In the long run, it will be cheaper to just buy what you want.
@@ThisOldTrike I understand those parts what you're saying bud. Well it's like this. I like him as a 200E but I'm one who don't like to part ways with vehicles. And before big red broke down. I've been trying to get him going again. I see my vehicles as family. On earth or in heaven. Big red is more of a brother since he don't complain but does miss going on rides. It's something for later on when working or when giving him something extra what I mean. Well I mean whens the last time someone's seen a ES on an 83 model. Either 200 or 250. In other way of putting it. Like putting a 350 SBC under the hood of a C10 pickup powered by a 307 for extra power

Thanks brother! I always appreciate you watching!
It came out nice
Such informative content! Thanks fellas!
Appreciate you watching!! Glad you liked it!
Great content. Makes me want to rebuild a 350X shock and I don't even own a 350X.🤣
Good evening bud
Hope you're doing well brother!
How do we send him a shock to restore? Got a link?
I'm not sure he's taking on work at the moment. He's currently restoring that Tecate 500! But you can find him on Facebook!
I'm thinking about making my Big Red shaft drive and maybe in later times may put the power of a 250es.
An idea for someday on my big red

Can you have the spring powder coated or will that ruin the heat treating?
Yes sir, you can powder coat them without an issue.
how to rebuild your shock : call another guy to do it 😜
Yup, some definitely choose that option! I know I have in the past.
