S,WATA... DBMP (Design Build Model Paint)

Hello! Welcome to So, What's All This About... the series where I divide up each featured game into two videos to cover two very different things: the cool stuff, and the cool ideas (or in this case, sometimes I mush 'em together into a one-stop shop of BG love).
For years now, I've been keeping track of not just the games I play, but also the work I do to get those games to the table (or back into the boxes in a more organized way). I've also been tracking completely non-game things (like building our swingset) just so I can compare how much of my limited free-time as a father and teacher I've spent on the various different projects in my life.
The reason I'm sharing this admittedly bizarre behavior with you is because I firmly believe that it's helped me through times where I just couldn't get games to the table as much as I wanted to. The hobby of board and card games is wider than I was giving it credit earlier on, and DBMP has helped illuminate that for me.
