The New American Ruling Class

Lewis Lapham, Harper’s Magazine, spoke about his new book, “New American Ruling Class,” which focuses on changes within the elites in U.S. society. He emphasized that this group now has little connection to ordinary citizens and much more in common with its international counterparts. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience.
