This is the first of you I’ve seen. I like your approach: straight, no influential, gimmicky inflection; good assessment, without over talking; you’re honest. I found this post while looking for latest Lisa Eldridge posts and was particularly interested because I did just order her new tint & had aLotttt of trouble choosing the shade. The concept of a tint is slowly becoming clear, to me. Through my phone, the shade you applied looks dark compared to your hands. I think it matched your neck, but it was difficult to see because of your top. Thank you for sharing all this with us- it was very interesting. I’ll def look for more of your reviews.
I’m so happy that you found me and I am absolutely thrilled to have you here. I am a fashion and beauty journalist so I come to this like a reporter rather than a Makeup artist or an influencer. I figure now I’m just kind of doing my written stories but I’m speaking them instead ❤️
The skin tint looks very interesting, however I just ordered Victoria Beckham's Priming Moisturizer in the shade Golden, so that's on the way. Always looking for the lightest formula with the least amount of color. I will definitely try the LE Skin Tint because it's just what I've been looking for.
I debated between shades 6 and 7, and went with 6. We're going into fall and winter here. I usually have a very close skin tone to you and use your review as a guide for my shade selection. Mine is arriving Monday. Yay
Hi Rebecca- I love a very light tint in a skin product and thought this looked really nice on your skin- it looked just a little more polished without looking heavy…which is always a positive, in my book. The DM pallette looks really beautiful.. these tones are right up my alley! ❤
So surprised by the coverage but i think i got at least light, it evened everything out beautifully and i used a brush (for this sponge girl) ha. I am only comparing in my head to the SF tint which was a bit too hydrating for the warmer months and definitely on the sheerer side, so im interested to see how it fares. So far ive worn it twice and the 2nd time out of curiosity tried it with primer. Both times i powdered very lightly, the 2nd time being all over. I was not sure about the moisturizer either but i used bobbi brown vitamin serum and moisturizer, the first time i had it on for 3 hrs when the pkg arrived and the 2nd time i used the same thing but applied not too long after and added sunscreen + primer. i suspect it will change once the weather shifts and i can change moisturizer, by then i probably won't need a serum either. as for the pkg i was kinda w/e when i saw the launch but when it arrived it was so stinking cute lol. I loved how it felt and fit in the palm of my hand. I saw someone mention the bottom is slanted so that might be why its not totally flat so it can't leak out?
Oh that makes sense. The bottom would be a little bit slanted so it wouldn’t leak. That makes total sense. It’s definitely a different little product. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it yet. But I know it’s unique and I agree with you that the little bottle is very pleasing
I am so excited about the Danessa palette! My b-day is coming up and happens to coincide with the spring Sephora sale (how convenient!! 😂), so this will definitely be one of my purchases!! Thank you for showing the shades and for your demos -- very helpful. ❤
Laurie! Now we know why the spring Sephora sale is when it is. It is clearly celebrating your birthday and I love that ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ definitely put this Danessa product on your list. It is so perfect for spring… And your birthday!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Hahaha, exactly!! And this is going to be a big birthday (50), so I need to do some major retail therapy (I have mixed feelings about that number!)!!
oh no! they're so good. TBH i think i prefer this formula over her define line because its very reminiscent of MUFE colors and not as creamy. I would wear something like this very often with a gloss, even a clear vs the other line which i reserve for specifically only lipsticks @@NotFitforPrintBeauty
Hi Rebecca! Any suggestion for a primer to use under the Lisa Eldridge tint? I have it in T6 and love it, but my nose got pretty shiny. Hoping to buy something during the sephora sale that will calm down the shine in this Houston humidity!
Love your review! I am a little bit on the fence about this one. How is this tint compared to Chanel water fresh tint or complexion touch in terms of coverage?
Both of the Chanel products have a little bit more of a kind of a bronze look to them and they both have more coverage than this. There is next to nothing in this
Printcey enjoys the sun because he’s from Scotland. Ha ha. I did get these fast which is nice because I have really been suffering from late deliveries lately. But when it rains it pours. Every single new product released is just sitting here to be reviewed making some of it late just by nature of not being able to get to it all!
Just thinking if I were swatching the eye palette here Id be saying lets look at these in "the cool, Connecticut overcast sky". Love the tint on you! Looks more opaque than expected.
How does the Lisa Eldridge compare to Chanel Waterfresh Tint? I haven’t ordered because she didn’t do her fair olive shade so I have to decide if T2 will be too peach for me.
So ready for the weather swap!! Oh how I miss sunshine ☀I tried LE skin tint for the first time today and immediately fell in love. And to think that years ago I wore Double Wear! 🤣
It’s similar but it’s totally dissimilar. Let me explain. The Chanel first water tint is most comparable in terms of coverage but the Chanel shades are a little bit more sunshine bronze and the texture is so entirely different that they can’t be compared. The Chanel really does feel like water and the Lisa Eldridge feels like you have put on a pound of moisturizer. It is the strangest thing. For such a thin product, the Lisa feels Kind of thick. It’s not uncomfortable but it is such a heavily moisturized feeling that I still feel it on my skin nine hours after I washed it. I didn’t feel that with the Chanel. But I suppose the amount of coverage is similar. Still I feel like it’s apples and oranges
@@NotFitforPrintBeautythis is helpful. I am liking that the LE is more moisturizing, etc. I have tried the Chanel water tint. It’s very nice, but I have to moisturize kinda heavily beforehand.
Thank you! I am really into Lisa Eldridge but I didn't want to buy this without your review because I have oily skin. I probably will skip it because in the warmer months I even more oily and I also tend to wear water-resistant sunscreen (with silicones) because I also sweat like a ho in church . This doesn't seem like something I'd put over water-resistant sunscreen. I was also interested in the Danessa Myricks palette but it looks so warm to me and I am super cool-toned, so I'm probably going to skip it. Also looking at your swatches I don't see a brow color for me in that. All of it looks great on you, though! And thanks for helping me save money!
I like medium coverage but if i wanted to try a skin tint i think I'd try the Hourglass. The DM look lovely, i really hope i win the giveaway because i really want to try one of her palettes.
Thanks for the comparison to Hourglass, very helpful .The fact that you applied three coats to achieve this light coverage may be means it is not for me. I think I will stick with one light application of my hourglass veil skin tint . thanks for your thoughts
The coverage is similar to the first Chanel water tent although even that product has more coverage! And the textures are so entirely different than it’s like night and day. I still feel like I slathered on moisturizer and I took the product off nine hours ago
Oh thank you for the review and you answered my burning question as well.. and compared this to the WA oil tint - I had a sample of WA and it was a bit oily, but my skin is usually dry, so I always thought I’d get it as a light moisturizing tint and blend out the oil like skin care - but if LE is not as oily …. And I’ve also tried the jones road WTF, which didn’t work out bc it was way to oily and thick feeling and sticky, but could have had promise bc it made my face feel good and moisturized after taking it off - maybe LE is the happy medium I’m looking for when I just want a moisturizing, barely there tint - It looked like it covered any discolorations you had and smoothed your skin (obvious the DPofD always need extra care with concealer 😅) But your review is confirmation bias for me bc I already bought LE tint - LE has a charisma pull on me and it’s very hard for me to resist when she posts such thorough and passionate reviews and tutorials about her new and super lovely products - she gets me in the feels and I want all the things - I did resist for her last drop, but I could not resist this time 🤩 - I’m excited to get it
The good thing is, this really does sound like it’ll be right up your alley. Because it doesn’t do any of the things that you’re mentioning are issues with the other products. So I think you’re going to be really happy but now I’m invested so you’ll need to tell me
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes, I will tell you - I’m super picky with foundations… I like it really light … so fingers crossed … crazy thing is I was trying LE sample foundations and trying to figure out the shades -- it’s a lovely foundation but did seem a bit too much for me - and then she comes out with something lighter just as I’m trying to decide! Did she know? LOL - my 10 year old liquid liner just broke (yeah I don’t use it much, it’s ooooolllld, so full of the strong preservatives I guess) and the next week she came out with liquid liner -- 2 very odd coincidences 🧐
Hi lovely Rebecca !! Love the look of this skin tint effortless , looks radiant on you . With spring approaching this will come in handy, and with a touch of concealer added for me 😊good to go . Eyeshadow palette looks really pretty on you and a great versatile palette. It’s not my colour story so I’ll pass on this one . Great review as always a pleasure to watch you 🤗❤️
Bridget! I think this really would be nice in the summer months but do watch out as it is extra extra extra moisturizing. And if I could put an extra word extra in there, I would
That Danessa Myricks palette is very tempting. It just became available at a Retailer in Australia tonight. I'm less excited for the Lisa Eldridge if theres next to no coverage. I have the Rose Inc tint at the moment which is also very light. Thanks very much for the prompt demo Rebecca.
It’s funny I’m very interested in the original dm groundwork and a usually drawn to colours like this palette but for some reason it’s not tickling my fancy. Very excited about the Lisa Eldridge as I loved the Charlotte tilbury light wonder foundation and seeking a replacement as that’s discontinued.
i think LE puts out some really beautiful products. i have her foundation it’s one of my faves. now that i wfh i much prefer a lighter coverage most days so this is perfect. I also got T7 based on my foundation shade. I always like to use u as a reference so this shade should work for me 😊
My t7 is on its way…. What tempted me was just how clear freckles show through but still some evening in background skin tone on the models… I will always take less coverage over grey toned freckles. It’s coverage is certainly not obvious when you were applying in real time but I went back and looked at stills and it certainly does add some perfecting and evening out but certainly looks like skin. I really liked it on you.
You know what? I have to agree. I actually liked this product MORE when I was editing the footage and saw it in action. When I applied it in real time, I wasn't as impressed.
Thank you for this review on the skin tint! All you described sounds great to me. I am that person who never owned foundation as I feel coverage products are to much for my skin and my face looks flat. Usually I dab some (very little) concealer here and there, add bronzer or blush and that's it. But I wish a tiny bit evening out and I hope this product will do for me. So, thank you again!
@@NotFitforPrintBeautyand you are right. I do love this tint, invisable, skin perfecting, not greasy or shinny. And the most important: it does not feel like make-up and no scent (as per usual with Lisa Eldridge).
Oh the Lisa Eldridge tint is right up my alley!! I know I said I only want five foundations in my rotation by the end of the year but this one looks so good! The DM is as lovely as we knew it would be! She is getting all my money in June after my no buy😅❤ You looked gorgeous! And please take some of this cold NYC weather!! Take it!!😢
I'd love some sunshine! I'm in Hawaii and it was 52 degrees this morning. We are expecting rain all week!! I'm so excited for the new groundwork palette. The swatches looked beautiful.
The problem that you and I will have is that you being in Hawaii and me being in California, we won’t be allowed to complain about the weather by anyone on the East Coast or Midwest. But trust me. I understand you ❤️
I’m very interested in that tint. Glad to see you apply T7, now I know my shade would be T8, a bit more golden. Looks lovely on you. I already have the Hourglass tint, just purchased that one, so I’ll wait awhile. But, I like the fact that this LE is more like skincare, and very sheer, and moisturizing . I just picked up 2 of the new LE lipliners, her gloss in Ribbon, and a lipstick in Rainbow Spill. So, I’ll see how these are. I have the eyeshadow palette in Vega. Love it. Not sure about the DM eyeshadow palette for me. I’ll have to see it in person.
I am not going to get the LE skin tint . Honestly I been disappointed by a lot of her products and 50.00 for barely nothing there are plenty that are light coverage Mac face and body which I never used .
Oh goodie! I picked shade 7 too and now I know I made a good choice. The tint looks great on you. You do not want to trade weather with me…..currently winter weather advisory for later today with 3-5 inches of wet/heavy snow forecast. Love spring in Wisconsin.
That sounds like a perfect foundation product for me and I appreciate the fact that she made some cooler shades because so many of those type of products run way warm. I would just be concerned about getting the correct shade. But I'm probably gonna check it out on her website
Sorry to butt in but just to say I sent a selfie to Lisa's customer service team as I was unsure about my shade. I got a very helpful reply within a few hours and Louise also sent pics of the relevant shade swatches on her arm. I can see why Lisa's customer service team is so highly rated. Edited to say I received the product the next day (I'm in the UK) and it was perfect.
The texture / finish of the LE skintint reminds me of the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation. It has been discontinued and I’m very happy to have a (better!) replacement!
So glad the T7 worked for ‘our’ skin shade, I too had to wavered with the T6, but that looks gorgeous on you! Mine won’t arrive till tomorrow, cannot wait to try after this. I’m wondering how it compares to the light & divine Rituel De Fille weightless 3 drop foundation, it sounds similar. But I know Lisa always makes the best products with so much thought, so cannot wait to find out how marvellous it is!
Oooooo you've STUMPED me. I keep answering comparison questions but I can't answer yours because I have not tried the RdF foundation. My guess? This is lighter coverage!
Thank you for this Rebecca! I purchased the first Groundworks palette and although I love the concept, there is something about the tones of that palette that just do not work for me at all, brown, face , eyes, none of it! I'm so tempted by this one!
Exact same experience. I really wanted to love the first one more but the tones just didn’t work on me and didn’t really inspire me and I enjoy the pinks a lot more. This would’ve been the one to have rather than the first for me.
I used the shade matching thingy for Lisa and it gave me 3 shades. I bought 2 of them (t3 and t5). I like how Lisa said the t5 can be used like a colour correcter just on red areas so that's what I'm going to do and use t3 as my "all over"
I ordered this yesterday! I can’t remember if I got T3 or T4 . I work in the operating room so everything tends to fade on me so I thought this product would be perfect for work . I also got one of the new lip liner 0N , Rose Official lipstick and the finishing spray ! I was able to get the free denim bag ! Thanks for the review ❤
Great review Rebecca! My Lisa Eldridge skin tint is en route along with one of her new lip liners. I am sooooo intrigued by this Danessa Myricks palette, it so so gorgeous and I am a sucker for pinks/rosy tones. However I love my Byredo Remembrance palette and keep telling myself "these are all the pinks/rosy tones you need in life!!" I don't suppose you could do a little swatch comparison between the pinks in that palette and this new Danessa palette? Thank you so much and great job!
Great review. I am wearing T5 today, and it feels great. I like it under my eyes and am wearing it without concealer. I agree that I would like it if the bottle would stand upright ... in fact, I found a little agate dish to hold it up. The closest texture I can compare it to is the 90s Clarins tinted spf. I usually like a little more coverage, however I am going to give it a chance because it does look pretty. My hubby said it makes me look younger. Lol. ❤ I also ordered two of the lip pencils, 0N and 1C. These are wooden pencils and a different formula than her other pencils. 1C is very close to her original lip pencil, Muse. 0N is very light and is perfect if you want the benefits of a lip liner without an obvious lip liner look.
Andrea, I FORGOT to order the lip liner. Can you BELIEVE it???? So I need to do that. I love that your husband complimented the LE product. Well, he complimented YOU, to be honest. You're making it look good and not the other way around!
I eagerly await the arrival of the LE skin tint I ordered. I usually wear the Chanel Fresh Water Tint. I honestly don’t have much to cover except darkness around my eyes. Yes, the bottle is very cute but I find, like her foundation, the shape makes it a pain to store. I don’t like to leave my makeup out. You look very pretty with the tint. In my opinion, your skin looks perfect. Danessa Myricks is such a talent! I love seeing what she puts out. Unfortunately I’m pretty boring when it comes to eye makeup. I.really have never felt compelled to buy any of her products. Thank you for being so quick with this review..❤️👏👏👏❤️
You are most certainly NOT boring, my friend. You just know what you like. Ah yes, this skin tint will please you. But you won't be able to skip the concealer around the eyes, which I think you realize.
You are too funny, my friend, and you are right I did get a laugh. I am really fortunate to only need a light tinted SPF or moisturizer, and this was on my radar. I was waiting for your review 😂. I wish it had SPF, but I actually still may get this. And I got my Danesaa palettes last night - one for me and one for my kit - they are beautiful. ❤❤❤
Oh I’m so glad you got one for your kit also! Yes. This Lisa Eldridge tint might be just up your alley but you’ve got to definitely want to feel moisturized
I think the tint looks nice and it’s the perfect shade for you. For me personally it’s too light in terms of coverage. I have the DM palette in my loves list for the upcoming sale. I’m not sure yet if i’m getting it, but it’s on the list! ❤
Thank you so much for another great review! I'll be passing on both because although the palette is beautiful, I don't reach for palettes like that in my day to day routine. The skin tint also isn't my jam because I have a skin care routine and I don't need more added in and especially no coverage. My wallet thanks you ♥️♥️
Uh Rebecca, I love the concept. Definitely getting the tint. Now the shade, you chose, T7 is it giving you little bit tanned look? What shade you wear in Chanel foundation? I am B30 in summer, and of course this tint best for summer humidity. I was thinking T7 or maybe T9, to add some tan 🤔 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I was interested to see that Morgan Turner said that she thought that the Danessa Myricks palette was really hard to use and that people who were not really good at makeup might struggle with it. i'm wondering if you found that to be the case as well.
The skin tint is very cute lol but wayy too little coverage for me at that price point Im sure its super luxe feeling but I am not a no makeup makeup gal lol if the coverage is that light i just let my skin be itself and go makeup free. As for the Blooming radiance I am intrigued but I also didnt have the best time with the original ground work like the colors appeared very sheer on me and just didnt wow me but it couldve been user error
I appreciate how well you describe the tint and it's helpful to be aware of how sheer the coverage appears. It seems to align with her brand nicely but after hearing your thoughts I'm reassured that I can live without it.
Do you know what I realize this morning? My skin still feels strangely moisturized. This is that same feeling that her cleanser leaves or the Pat McGrath toner that came out a while ago, the pink one. I don’t know if you’ve tried either of those.
Hi dear Rebecca, i loved this video, thanks so much!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Saw the first DM palette so many times of course on Chelsea's face, from GlamGirlChelsea, so i purchased these finally, i'm so curious! But love to see these on your skintone as well, super beautiful as well!!! You did it so good!! And i maybe want that Lisa Eldridge skintint, it looks super beautiful on you, Rebecca, it does not always have to be full coverage to look super beautiful, it makes a natural beautiful elegant look on you, i really like it, otherwise i would say!!! Sending you lots of love!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty i recognise that, and there are also days, that i think, no makeup at all. Or just a bit. Who finds it disturbing looks another way, i think than. My skin also needs to take fresh air 🤣
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes here too! MRI centre is in the hart of Rotterdam, but than i think whatever, why now interesting clothing or makeup? I did not, i went in my homewear clothing and on my UGG slippers, i thought, whoever does not like it, i'm not sorry for them. When getting a few years added to my age, i get more brains maybe to think this?🙃😂
I ordered the Lisa Eldridge skin tint in Shade 03 on the day that it was made available to the Emeralds but it is not supposed to arrive until tomorrow. I think the sheerest skin tint that i have used has been the one from Summer Fridays, but it irritated my skin. I thought about buying the new LE lip pencil but decided. not to after i saw that it contains cottonseed oil which always irritates my skin (presumably due to glyphosate contamination). I did like the competitive SKKN lip liners (though i would rather support LE than Kim Kardashian/Coty all things being equal). i have not been drawn to buy either of the Groundworks palettes but maybe I should considering how highly you speak of her artistry. Please enter me in your giveaway if you haven't already! ❤
Lisa! I need to look. Do you know if you received a confirmation back for me that I entered you? If I didn’t confirm that means that RUclips did not give me your comment so now I am worried. I will double check with all of our members on the live tomorrow because members get many entries.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Well, I made a general comment on your 20K video and your responded to that in a general way, but maybe that was. not enough to get me entered in the drawing. I looked over the list of prizes again and would be interested in all of them!!
@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews ENTERING YOU NOW. Or, I should say, making sure you're entered. If you're not, you certainly shall be in about twenty seconds from now. haha.
Thank you for the duo review! One of Lisa's team members shade matched me on IG with T6 or T7. Pulled the trigger on T6 and then added in a lip pencil in N0 and eyeshadow palette -- that Sorcery is stunning! -- because why not? Clever marketing strategy having team members on standby with virtual customer service, that's what really prompted the extra buys. I'm hoping the skin tint fills the gap between the Glossier and Danessa Myricks skin tints, both of which I enjoy, and am curious how it will perform on dry old lady skin. The Danessa Myricks Blooming Radiance palette should arrive today, just in time for a test drive before I disassemble it into my pro kit. Those colours scream bridal and the pomades are wonderful to work with and set impeccably with the coordinating powders.
I am so glad to hear the team recommended a shade to you. I am hearing from others that they got no response. Must have gotten crazy busy with recommendations. I think you will love the Danessa palette. So easy to disassemble too!
Thank you for the review. I wonder if you kind of patted it onto the face instead of smoothing it out. I'm curious if it would give a bit more coverage. I just ordered it and can't wait to get it. Thanks again for a great review. Ps I think it looks so good on you!
Sorry. I meant the skin tint. Lisa Eldridge has a whole video on applying it and she seemed to tap extra on places that needed a bit more coverage. Looked like it did give extra coverage. Not as much as a foundation. She also used it as a light coverage under eye concealer that won’t crease if you don’t have a very dark under eye. Again, I think it really looked good on you.
Thank you for your honest review! This helped lessened my fomo at not being able to try the Lisa Eldridge (coconut allergy). I actually liked the Westman Atelier, but I have very dry skin! How would you compare it to the first product that comes to mind for me in this category-the Chanel water fresh tint?
You are right to bring up the Chanel water tint. The coverage is the same although I actually feel that Chanel gives more color. But the texture is so entirely different that I can’t compare the two. This one feels very much like the moisturizing film that the Lisa cleanser leaves on your skin after you cleanse or that Pat McGrath toner from a while ago. I still feel like I just slathered on moisturizer and I took the product off 10 hours ago.
Please send Cali weather to Chgo..36 degrees today!😢 The LE looks nice on you! I don't know about this tint and not in love w the packaging!😮 The DM is pretty too and love how you used the color story! Love ypur videos...ty Rebecca!🎉🎉
Thank you. I’m intrigued by the LE tint. I’m thinking you could use a powder foundation over for a little more coverage. I may need to rethink the DM groundwork’s palette ( original is more my colour story) you speak so highly of it… one last thing you are welcome to our weather here in Calgary- day 2 of 4 snow fall warning up to 40cm predicted. 🤷♀️
I love your review of even the packaging for Lisa Eldridge skin tint. I do love the sculptural shape but it’s such a pain when you’re trying to keep it with your other products. Am I the only crazy one who thinks that? Anyway, the groundwork palette in these shades is very pretty, at least the pinks are as I don’t wear too much of the maroons, etc. But you show us a good way to use them. That neutral color one is definitely more in my wheelhouse. I also was interested in Lisa Eldridge lip pencils. Looks like some nice colors. And thanks for mentioning Supergoop tint. I was eyeing that but that was my concern. Off my list.
No PLEASE no on the Supergoop. I am so upset with how shiny it was. Check out my review. they anger me. haha. I FORGOT, truly, to order the lip liner. ARGH.
Both of these are on my radar! I needed formula and set down info on Lisa’s new tint. I needed color on skin on Danessa’s new palette. You got me covered and colored :) Are Westman complexion drops a similar product? Not the oil.
The Westman complexion drops are still oily compared to this. This one feels like a thick moisturizer in a thin formula. It’s very odd in that regard. Let me know if I need to clarify. Very happy to as these things are so hard to describe in words
Are you going to try the new Lisa Eldridge lipliners? I’m possibly interested in 1W and 2W, but kind of afraid to order them because I haven’t had much luck with her products besides the lucent lipsticks in a couple of the colors. I know I can return things but the returns aren’t free, I’d have to ship them back and pay for it. Going to pass on the skin tint because I can tell I will not like it as much as Chantecaille Future Skin which I already have in 3 shades for any time of year.
Hey Heather! Yes, the Future Skin has more coverage too but similar feel upon application, actually. I forgot, honestly haha, to buy a lip liner but will do that now.
Two products that are not likely for me. The skin tint looks beautiful on you, but I like more coverage. I wrote to them to ask for a suggestion of color based on what I wear in the foundation and they never responded. Disappointing because Lisa Eldridge said in her video to reach out to her very nice and knowledgeable staff. The palette is so interesting. I do like the rosy color way, but I find that every time I invest in something more experimental (SALT NY and MOB come to mind), I don’t tend to use them. I like creams and liquids, but I am truly a powders girl. I also don’t like anything sticky on my skin, although it looked like both (the tint and the pomade) powdered down pretty well. Hmmm.
Totally agreed! Both of these products would end up annoying you. That sounds funny but I’m reading what you say and really understanding it and, you know yourself so well. You would just be annoyed. for me, it’s the strange moisturized texture of the skin tint that is Confusing me. I took it off nine hours ago and it still feels like I just moisturized a moment ago. I’m not sure what to make of that.
Others have said the LE was super light and light coverage but covers everything. Thank you for being honest. I love her too, but JC, why are you treating her like she does no wrong?
I think you will love the VBB too!
I like the look of the tint. refines and gives a natural and healthy look. Does more than you think! Looks great.
You know what? What you say makes sense because I ended up liking this better upon editing than I did when I was just seeing it in real life.
I debated between shades 6 and 7, and went with 6. We're going into fall and winter here. I usually have a very close skin tone to you and use your review as a guide for my shade selection. Mine is arriving Monday. Yay
I could have EASILY worn the six. Maybe would have even been better? Let me know, shade twin!
Hi Rebecca- I love a very light tint in a skin product and thought this looked really nice on your skin- it looked just a little more polished without looking heavy…which is always a positive, in my book. The DM pallette looks really beautiful.. these tones are right up my alley! ❤
Thank you very much, Lora!
Just started the video and wanted to say I like your eye look. The foundation packaging reminds me of the chanel handcream packaging
Oh it’s totally Chanel handcream packaging. Good one. Totally.

as for the pkg i was kinda w/e when i saw the launch but when it arrived it was so stinking cute lol.

I ordered the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint, her new mascara, and her Velveteen liquid lip in Ribbon and got a free denim makeup bag! Excited!!!
I need to try one of the new lip liners. I should’ve so I could’ve gotten the denim bag. I love her little make up bags
I’m really eyeing off the Lisa Eldridge skin tint and also her new neutral lip liners.
I’m kicking myself for not getting the new lip liner
oh no! they're so good. TBH i think i prefer this formula over her define line because its very reminiscent of MUFE colors and not as creamy. I would wear something like this very often with a gloss, even a clear vs the other line which i reserve for specifically only lipsticks @@NotFitforPrintBeauty
Danessa is a bright light in the world. 🌟
I ran to Sephora and bought the blooming romance as soon as I could! 🥰. It’s my favorite formula ever!
Isn’t it just lovely!
Hi Rebecca! Any suggestion for a primer to use under the Lisa Eldridge tint? I have it in T6 and love it, but my nose got pretty shiny. Hoping to buy something during the sephora sale that will calm down the shine in this Houston humidity!
Danessa new one FOR SURE!!!!
Rebecca, how does the Lisa Eldridge skin tint compare to Salt New York’s Sneaky Balm?
Oh my goodness. You got me on this one. I really really enjoy salt New York but I have not tried the balm.
Great review. I love all the honest insights you give us. Thank you!
Thank you so much. I am so pleased whenever I can be helpful
Thank you for your thorough test and honest review. ❤
Thank YOU for being here
Love the skin tint on you, I can really see the evening out of your skin! Also looks so natural! 😊
Finally enough I see it more on editing than I actually did while applying
I ordered the Tint in T7. I’m so excited for this one. I never wear foundation and this product truly spoke to me! Also my first LE purchase!
You will have to let me know what you think!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I have T7 and it’s fab.
Love your review! I am a little bit on the fence about this one. How is this tint compared to Chanel water fresh tint or complexion touch in terms of coverage?
Both of the Chanel products have a little bit more of a kind of a bronze look to them and they both have more coverage than this. There is next to nothing in this
I never tried anything from Danessa Myricks but that palette looks beautiful 😍
It really is.
Whew you got those so fast!! 🥰❤️
I see Printcey has his sunnies on today 😎😎😎
Printcey enjoys the sun because he’s from Scotland. Ha ha. I did get these fast which is nice because I have really been suffering from late deliveries lately. But when it rains it pours. Every single new product released is just sitting here to be reviewed making some of it late just by nature of not being able to get to it all!
I want to try both products. Nice review
THANK YOU!
I’ve never tried anything from Danessa Myricks, but wow that gorgeous palette is tempting! Looks so high quality too.
It’s just such an interesting palette and can be used so many ways
Is it made in China?

You are far too kind, Janet and I’m very appreciative
Just thinking if I were swatching the eye palette here Id be saying lets look at these in "the cool, Connecticut overcast sky".
Love the tint on you! Looks more opaque than expected.
But Connecticut is the LOVELIEST. So many TREES!!!!
How does the Lisa Eldridge compare to Chanel Waterfresh Tint? I haven’t ordered because she didn’t do her fair olive shade so I have to decide if T2 will be too peach for me.
Chanel product shades are all a bit more bronze and still more coverage than this actually.
So ready for the weather swap!! Oh how I miss sunshine ☀I tried LE skin tint for the first time today and immediately fell in love. And to think that years ago I wore Double Wear! 🤣
hahaha. That is like LITERALLY one side of the foundation spectrum vs the other. haha. That's so cool. You have multi facets!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh no, those days are long gone ;) Didn't we all try to cover our faces in our younger years for some reason?
@@HannaTK It's so true. Covered beautiful skin. But we've learned our lesson haha
How does it compare to the Chanel water fresh tint which has also a very light coverage ? 🤔
Exactly what I was going to ask
I have been wondering too. I feel Lisa’s shade range is much better. I wish Chanel water fresh didn’t make me look funny colour.
Yes, this is the comparison I’d really like to know about, too!
Definitely save your money on the Lisa. It's lovely but it is absolutely not the product for ya. You'd be frustrated by it. Money saved!
I’m hoping to get the Danessa Myricks palette using the credit from my purchases during the Beautylish Gift Card event 😆💕
Oooo that's on now!!!
I like medium coverage but if i wanted to try a skin tint i think I'd try the Hourglass. The DM look lovely, i really hope i win the giveaway because i really want to try one of her palettes.
I hope you win, too! The hourglass skin tint is my absolute favorite
Thanks for the comparison to Hourglass, very helpful .The fact that you applied three coats to achieve this light coverage may be means it is not for me. I think I will stick with one light application of my hourglass veil skin tint . thanks for your thoughts
That hourglass is probably my favorite skin tint ever
mine too❤
What it better? Chantecaille Future Skin or LE?
I def prefer Chantecaille actually :)
So excited for this review. My Lisa Eldridge is on the way along with 2 lip liners!!❤
I don’t know why I didn’t get lip liners. I’m kicking myself
Is this similar to Rituel de fille 3 DROP WEIGHTLESS SERUM FOUNDATION?
I have only experimented with the RDF on my hand but, from what I can tell, that is a much better product than this one
Is this similar in texture and coverage to either the Canel eau Dr tient water fresh tint or touch?
The Chanel is a little bit more of a bronze shade to be honest and still more coverage than this
Thank you so much for a great video. How does it compare to Chanel Water Fresh Tint and the Complexion Touch?
I was also going to ask on the water fresh tint from Chanel, as that is my HG-perfect light coverage.
And I’ve also tried the jones road WTF, which didn’t work out bc it was way to oily and thick feeling and sticky, but could have had promise bc it made my face feel good and moisturized after taking it off - maybe LE is the happy medium I’m looking for when I just want a moisturizing, barely there tint - It looked like it covered any discolorations you had and smoothed your skin (obvious the DPofD always need extra care with concealer 😅)
But your review is confirmation bias for me bc I already bought LE tint - LE has a charisma pull on me and it’s very hard for me to resist when she posts such thorough and passionate reviews and tutorials about her new and super lovely products - she gets me in the feels and I want all the things - I did resist for her last drop, but I could not resist this time 🤩 - I’m excited to get it
The good thing is, this really does sound like it’ll be right up your alley.
I am so excited that the Danessa Myrick is available already in Australia
It’s funny I’m very interested in the original dm groundwork and a usually drawn to colours like this palette but for some reason it’s not tickling my fancy.
Very excited about the Lisa Eldridge as I loved the Charlotte tilbury light wonder foundation and seeking a replacement as that’s discontinued.
This has a little bit less coverage than the Charlotte and a lot more moisturization
i think LE puts out some really beautiful products. i have her foundation it’s one of my faves. now that i wfh i much prefer a lighter coverage most days so this is perfect. I also got T7 based on my foundation shade. I always like to use u as a reference so this shade should work for me 😊
Hello Jenny! Oh then this shade will work for you!
🌸❤️🌞
❤️
My t7 is on its way…. What tempted me was just how clear freckles show through but still some evening in background skin tone on the models… I will always take less coverage over grey toned freckles. It’s coverage is certainly not obvious when you were applying in real time but I went back and looked at stills and it certainly does add some perfecting and evening out but certainly looks like skin. I really liked it on you.
You know what? I have to agree. I actually liked this product MORE when I was editing the footage and saw it in action. When I applied it in real time, I wasn't as impressed.
I can’t wait to get the Danessa palette! I been eyeing it since the teasers came out 😍
It’s gorgeous
How does the tint compare to Summer Fridays?
This one is actually lighter!
This is lighter.
Oh this will be PERFECT for you then!!!!

Janice, I LOVE that HG tint. It's my favorite. I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts on the two, compared.

Wait, Melissa, haha. I need to specify not wisconsin. hahah. But I LOVE Wisconsin actually. Winter is tough tho!
That sounds like a perfect foundation product for me and I appreciate the fact that she made some cooler shades because so many of those type of products run way warm. I would just be concerned about getting the correct shade. But I'm probably gonna check it out on her website
Honestly, I am sure I could’ve used one of three really. It’s very light coverage

@@Georgia-ne4dq Oh perfect. I'll go check!
Yes. And if you prefer a bit more coverage, you won't be thrilled. Def consider the DM palette for the sale.
Thank you so much for another great review! I'll be passing on both because although the palette is beautiful, I don't reach for palettes like that in my day to day routine. The skin tint also isn't my jam because I have a skin care routine and I don't need more added in and especially no coverage. My wallet thanks you ♥️♥️
That is the best when you can see a product and just know it’s not for you and happily save the money
Uh Rebecca, I love the concept. Definitely getting the tint. Now the shade, you chose, T7 is it giving you little bit tanned look? What shade you wear in Chanel foundation? I am B30 in summer, and of course this tint best for summer humidity. I was thinking T7 or maybe T9, to add some tan 🤔 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
Giedre! Yes. You would be the seven because I am BR 20 in Chanel.
I was interested to see that Morgan Turner said that she thought that the Danessa Myricks palette was really hard to use and that people who were not really good at makeup might struggle with it. i'm wondering if you found that to be the case as well.
Yes and then danessa herself told me tap on it it don’t smear period. don’t rub. Tap and it makes all the difference
There is definitely a bit of a learning curve to the groundwork pallets so I know what you mean.

Good morning! My denessa arrives today!

Yes. Danessa herself responded on my TikTok and told me the same!!!
@@Kim-km2kv Oh YES! Yes. She DID say that and it DOES work that way. Absolutely. Tapping....or apply like skincare FIRST and THEN tap.

I dislike the layout of the palette but I like the colors
Fair comment!!
What about the Glossier skin tint? Is it lighter than that one?
Lighter than Glossier and much more moisturizing.
Wow I didn’t think any product could be lighter than the Glossier! Thank you
@@sadieluvy Trust me, haha. I was like, "Wait. Where is it?"
Really helpful n thanks for the honest review😊 Is the coverage even lighter than the rare beauty skin tint ?
Yep. Lighter than rare beauty. Lighter than Chanel water tint. And more moisturizing than any of those
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty okay 👍 Thought so after listening to ur review..Thank you 😀
Please send Cali weather to Chgo..36 degrees today!😢 The LE looks nice on you! I don't know about this tint and not in love w the packaging!😮 The DM is pretty too and love how you used the color story! Love ypur videos...ty Rebecca!🎉🎉
Thank YOU lovely Mary
LORRAINE, we need to combine our weather so we can each get about 60°!
Yes! That’s seems only fair!
@@lorrainewilkins1032 Good. Then it's settled.
Isn’t it blooming romance not radiance?
haha! Yes. Oops! But I still love it.
It looks so pretty and fresh! Is it similar to Glossier?
Glossier is actually much more coverage
Can’t wait to get this today. Wish it was reversed more powder than pomade.
Oh I TOTALLY agree!!
ARGH.
My DM palette arrived with a cracked mirror from Sephora yesterday.
I hate that. It’s such a disappointment
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty How do you think this will be for super dry? Not surface dry patches but dry skin.
@@jessabeauty917 godsend
Which nail polish are you wearing? Lovely colour
That's the famous OPI Big Apple Red.
You look gorgeous ❤
Sara!!!! ♥️💕❤️
A lil late here but here boss lady! Love you
Love you too and you are never late. Whenever you get here is on time
Are you going to try the new Lisa Eldridge lipliners?
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty That is interesting!
@@rabbiroz3806 STILL THERE NOW even.
Others have said the LE was super light and light coverage but covers everything. Thank you for being honest. I love her too, but JC, why are you treating her like she does no wrong?
I agree more than you know.
Loving the LE tint on you ❤
THANK YOU!!!
don’t see the LE skin tint shade listed anywhere.
I am shade T7 😊
