I had the pleasure of meeting AJ when I toured with the guys last year in Europe. He is just as genuine in real life. He always made me feel comfortable and part of the tour. I'm sharing similar problems with my partner with drinking and it's been an inspiration for us watching his videos on his journey and growth. I really hope the best for him, the guys, and his family.

This is something about this guys: they’re very straight with their appointments. Black&Blue tour was paused but they return and fished it. DNA Tour was paused by pandemic but 2 YEARS later they are fulfilling it 👏🏽
All the bsb guys married women that are not celebs just normal people and down to earth girls. Good for them. His wife is beautiful. He looks so happy with her and the kids.

Bsb was my childhood and I'm so proud of aj for getting sober. I struggled with alcohol and opiates for a long time and I'm now almost 3 yrs clean off opiates and 10 yrs clean from alcohol. I still listen to bsb today as a 42 yr old woman and i take my sobriety one day at a time like aj says. What's keeping me going right now is my love for music my love for my son and if i didn't have those 2 things to help me through i wouldn't be here right now. I lost my son 9 yrs ago and i carry the pain with me every day. I struggle from manic depression anxiety ptsd ect and it's hard but some how i keep fighting. I won't lie there are times i want to just give up but i don't. I will say music is a huge part of it i used to do the same as aj and run around singing into my hairbrush as a teenage girl i wanted to be a singer since age 4 but things in life including my depression got in the way plus health problems. I was always told i had a beautiful voice but because of things i was and still am dealing with it didn't happen and it most likely won't. But i still love to sing in my apt it helps my depression alot to just sing what I'm feeling. Thank you bsb for always making my dark days brighter💜😀

Proud of AJ. I've been a fan for over 20 years. I remember that announcement on TRL and seeing his ups and downs. I can say that he looks genuinely happy with his little family and is celebrating sobriety. Good for him and cheers to him and his family (Soda or water, though). All of them having kids really changed them for the positive.

I was huge Backstreet Boys Fan as a kid. I got worried when I heard AJ had problems with drinking and drugs. I'm glad he overcame his addiction to be best person he could be!

From the beginning, he was always my favorite Backstreet boy. So glad he/they are still around, grown-up and happy, and still making great music.
AJ has now become my favourite BSB (sorry Brian). I've been a BSB fan for 26 years and seen them grow and become such accomplished performers but everyone has their struggles - private and public. I am so happy to see AJ so happy as he is today and grateful for God, life, his family and fans (of course). Its not easy to admit to things especially when it's such an easy part of the lifestyle he is around and I respect him for raising awareness and talking so openly, and i respect his courage to keep fighting his demons - a day at a time. I am glad he finally loves himself as he is so well loved by so many people on this planet 😊
His wife and children are just as gorgeously beautiful as he is. One of my top fave Backstreet Boys members ever. He is definitely the cool edgy one of the group. He is such popstar king, so much creativity and multitalented. But his real life story is so empowering and inspiring. I don’t think god has anything to do with it, it’s all up to the person and support. But now if he’s clean and sober does his wife drink? I find people that are sober definitely have a change in personality.
Ive been sober 30 yrs now i tryed to quit on my own and it didnt work ,Jesus Christ saved me and i believe that it had everything to do with God 🙏🙌

You go boy, everyone hurts at one point or another, over anything and everything, just after finding ways to heal you will come across the best way, which will be the hardest but you can do it, keep it up, all the love in the world for you and your family, I've had it rough myself, not the same, but everyone has their own story
Met him last year after a show in Vegas and he refused to take pictures. He was in the casino bar with howie and their friends. He was still super kind and stood talking with me, but I had a feeling he was not in a sober state. I'm so happy to see him say he gave his addiction and surrendered it to God, having my own demons and doing the same (giving it to God) It is literally the only way to beat addiction. Longtime fan and super proud of AJ, can't wait to see them back on tour, hopefully next year!

Before their split in 2004 I was into Brian from 1996))) I knew Aj was taking drugs before, but now listening his soul speech I am shocked! hearing that all this time he was playing with drugs and alcohol! But no matter what I still love him! And his wife is my hero!!! Not so many women can deal with addicted guys! Love you Aj and I'm proud of your decision! AJ has always been amazing and always will be. Backstreet Boys were a huge part of my childhood/ teenage years and mean alot to me, their awesome....
It is pathetic how people shame big beautiful women his wife is beautiful inside and out. Shaming people because of their looks. Shame on them and there way of thinking. It is what comes from the heart and not outside. They love each other and make each happy and looking after each other is all that matters. If, she loves her herself and her body that is what matters most. Everyone else who shames her and others. Take a long hard look in the mirror and the way you think.
