I never listened to this man speak before, but today i have and i have to say, his a man of virtue, principle and understanding. May God grant you Coach your sincere heart desires and also imcrease you to a platform which you never thought you could ever reach.
Coach l like the way you conducted this interview you were so very smart.....and you have indicated that you have no hard feeling against the Management instead you appreciating the opportunity that Sundowns gave you all of these years......Good luck for the future 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Coach Manqoba’s mistake is not following through on his conviction of squad rotation. I remember seeing the lineup against Magesi & I knew immediately then that we will not have the legs to get over the line. I understand what he says that there was a fear that he would get backlash if he lost that match with a rotated squad, but you rather get fired applying what you believe in rather than making a decision based on fear to appease supporters, stakeholders and media. It is your job on the line & you should do what you believe in, not what others believe in. I was a true believer and supporter of Coach Manqoba’s rotation policy, I still believe he was right and made the correct squad management decision regardless of the Polokwane loss, no one wins every single game of football. I will forever respect and be grateful for having Coach Manqoba at Sundowns - history has no blank pages & he will forever be mentioned in discussions of Sundowns most dominant & rewarding decade. One thing that sticks out the most about Coach Manqoba is that he is an intelligent and honourable man. I admire that the most about him. May God bless him and good luck to him in his future endeavours. Thank you so much for everything you have done for Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club Coach Manqoba Mngqithi 👆💛
This move was long orchestrated, the Club World cup is the main problem here. The only way to get a new coach was planned by throwing Coach Manqoba Mnqithi in the deep end by making him Rhulani Mokwena's successor (Who was the best coach at the time in the country), this would automatically put Coach Manqoba Mnqithi too much pressure because performing better than Rhulani means you must win every match.
@wisanishivambu7703 I hear your point but my focus was on the Club finding a way of bringing a new Coach for the without being questioned (they deliberately acted fair by putting Manqoba 1st) and this Cardoso guys only makes sense to come in to replace Rhulani by eliminating Manqoba first, Cardoso is the coach that defeated Rhulani hence they think he is the right fit for the club, but I don't think he will make, it's only a question of time.
Totally disagree with this it had nothing to do with the club world cup Wat do you mean 😮😮😮 wat are you even talking about rn they got the coach that was also going to the club world cup ....my issue with both coaches ( rulani and manqoba) they both failed to Get to CAF finals with one saying "Give me 5 years Tf you mean bruh the other saying it's " our bread and butter" but yet failing to Win matches Nah the club is bigger than these two coaches
I feel that he was not given enough chance to prove himself. Also, I believe that winning the change room was the biggest challenge. You can never succeed if you don't win the change room.
Bra Rob, Can we hear the club management's reasons for these decisions in an interview, ... regarding both Rhulani and Manqoba's depature! How do you want to develop South African RSA coaches and then remove them just before they get global exposure in tournaments like clubs world cup! ☹️ B.S
Good coach, but he became too excited and started to analyze other teams in the media. On his next assignment, he must minimize the talk in those pre -match and post -match interviews. The universe is always against those who can not keep their mouths shut when they're eating.
I still believe that the transition from Rhulani to Manqoba could've have been handled differently. I'm forever grateful for the role you played at sundowns Farewell coach Manqoba
Manqoba will rejoin Mamelodi Sundowns in Future. Flemming Berg will no longer be there and the team will return fully to its former glory *intuitive insight*
You did well coach, the stats are there... U dominated, and unfortunate in many instances... Seen u win c with four and five goals,, more box entries, more chances created, speed, wing back usage, playing with the width... More diagonally... Hard luck, football did u dirty and all the best coach Manqoba
Everyone is coming here to praise Mangqoba and say nice things about him, but on social media you were bullying him left, right and centre. Especially the opposition (Chiefs and Pirates) including our own fans. Don't come here and pretend as you loved him.
Mancoba failed himself, people invested lots of money and time in this team they expect good result, sundown team player value are far high than Magesi.
What an amazing person indeed is just that this podcasts made him look bad but you could hear that he was on the right track. My wish is that he joins Richards bay I want to see something if the chairman will not interfere. Coach you did well at Golden Arrows
I told people that mqithi is doomed for being left with kompela 😮 ayi i don't know what is the big ideas about Steve not add that french guy,i hope they fired the managing director to because he is the course of mqithi fall,no matter how great of coach or leader you are, you need competent people around you, pitso started rusty they brought manqoba things changed for the best.
Everyone is overlooking the fact that Pitso won everything with this guy by his side. Even yena himself doesnt want to admit that. Personally I don't think Manqoba recommended Steve, Let's be honest Steve took the Assistant Coach position when the Co-coach was dismantled. There is no way. Manqoba was fired long before starting. The team wanted a new direction.
Tribalism was at peak when u were with us .Our fellow supporters they referred you as "loyababa, maskandi coach, Brentwood coach. On the other hand Broos and media were on your case since u didn't play their favs....They hated the idea that you treated every player fairly and equally...you were fighting a losing battle from Day 1 coach even before pre season
This is an opportunity for him to represent 🇿🇦 on the African continent as Pitso and Rulani did. Let's export South African coaches to the rest of Africa and be the drivers of African football.
Hard luck my favorite coach for Sundowns to relieve you before the season was over. The challenge you had was that you took over the job after Rulani left. Some of senior players did not want to play for you becuase they were not happy with the loss of Rulani. Hence the performance of the team was not consistent and no wonder we lost to Stellenbourch and Magesi games. All the best for the future.
Sundowns fans hated my coach with everything. Go well Mr Manqoba. You go down as a log leader and a finalist. You gave your all. It wasn't meant to be.
To be honest I think he also expected to be fired I mean if they fired Rhulani with such an impeccable record he stood no chance. Fleming is clearly paving a way for European coaches and that's gonna reverse all the progress made over the years from Coach Pitso to Rhulani.
Listening to Coach Manqoba talking about people expertise deployed for International cups make me ask myself one question. What happens if Miguel finishes second on the Betway league, exit in the semi final of the Caf and lose the semi finals of Nedbank. Who will lead us in CWC😭😭😭😭 Football is scary yerrrr😂😂😂😂 I don't like this pressure 😕 We remain loyal to the brand
The coach was sabotaged before he even took the first training as the Head coach and that made him lose the dressing room. It's immature for these players to act so this coach was trying something that was gonna be amazing if all personnel applied themselves and mentally mature
Damn I feel sorry for Coach ,I think Downs management are a mess and some of senior players didn’t want to play for him,I am not fan of international coaches, that’s why em hurt ,Top 3 teams now are being coached by foreigners 😞😞😞 ,I wish Coach all the best 👆🏿👆🏿✨✨✨
True Chippa they buttered him including Junior Khanye as if they love him, your only one person talking the truth here People knows how pretend as if they love Maqhoba and good luck Coach and God bless you.
This is exactly why sundowns will remain a 57 fan team. They're so out of touch with football. Who wins every competition? Haibooo. And I don't believe they're replacing Manqoba. They're replacing Rulani, here. They never even announced his contract duration, as they're still experimenting with Cardoso too.
Mosimame left to Al alhy, Rhulani went to Wydad those teams are well-known in Africa they have rich history, if he was a good coach & you believe sundowns did him dirty let's wait & see which team will he coach next, as much as I've never backed Manqoba from day one as a coach but all the best heading foward with your coaching career coach🙌
An end of an era they shouldve continued with coach Manqoba the three musketeers are now gone, theyve dismantled the whole structure in the whole history of Downs Ted Dumitru is probably the only foreign coach whos had an impact the rest were just collecting cheques, goodluck to coach Mnqithi
For me I won’t say Manqoba is good for team like sundowns .. we aiming for good performance in club World Cup his selection was not good with long balls and ball circulation. But for him to be given a chance was good enough for his long service.kodwa ke his playin techniques is not our sundowns style of playing.. I believe rhulani , johan neeskins and histo stochkov those made us play beautiful football 🔥
To be honest I listen to the interview from start to finish...With due respect I don't feel the Coach wanted to answer critical questions.e.g 1-What did Mudau and Mokoena do?to be left out? 2-Is he having a conversation with Golden Arrows?. 3.Who is actually responsible for firing our local coaches at Sundowns? 4.Lastly u can't sign a staggering 200 million players to try and win a 20 million bet way league.Maths is not adding up Bro Rob..kudliwa imali ya ka Motsepe period! This coach never shared any light on any fact..he sat on d fence as if he still need that job..makahambe!

Thanks Bra Rob for bringing Rhulani & Manqoba. These interviews are important
Vital
Manqoba is a very kind man and respectful and I think that was his downfall at downs.he tried to give everyone a chance that was his downfall
What I love about the Coach,he was producing youngsters, he shows his best.
Ego is one of the worst enemies a man can have
Amen
we appreciate the service this man has delivered to the club over the years, all the best with your future endeavours coach
Man of wisdom coach Manqoba
I absolutely love the way Coach Manqoba conducts himself, a very disciplined man with integrity.
Ingwenya has been humbled
Wht a man, Manqoba has got class.
As KZN supporters we love you baba Mqithi .
❤
We love you here in Botswana sir❤.. wish you all de best

Mancoba was given enough chance, and he has been in the team for 12 years for him to be struggling to command the players now thats was his failure.
They will not make it out of the group at CWC

@@danndlela5435 you right
That's what you get for focusing on other people's jobs while you've got yours, i hope you've learned that humility is the key in life.
Whose job are talking about
That is what your exactly doing moose.. trying to be smart but dumb
Thinking with using your bums is not good. Go smoke a joint and overthinking everything
He is wise man God bless him
Sad to see you leave but happy to see u go. Manqoba was never gona give us the Champions league and put us in the FIfa club WC semi's at least.
And if he sack to Rulani's style of play with Rulani's 11 - most def he'd still be MSFC coach
Forget about world cup
club world cup semi's?
Coach Manqoba would do well in Cape town city ....he needs such management he is a good coach
Coach u are a best human being special what u saying about steve not letting him go with u endup jobless after being recalled from arrows
Top coach and an incredible human being
Everyone who comes here is labelled top
@clementmmakau4356 I don't know what you are talking about and I can only speak for myself, not what everyone else think
Very good human being I love Manqoba💛
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a gentleman and professional!
I also believe Sundown's have made a right decision but I'm respecting how Mr.Mngqithi is taking this matter, he is being a real man.
High level of emotional intelligence

Mr Manqoba demonstrated high level of emotional intelligence ❤❤

Farewell coach Manqoba

Pitso failed to make return. I doubt he might be smiling but the guy is hurt. Look at him when he speaks about CWC and Stellenbosch loss.
Agreed Manqoba is hurt, you can see He is not speaking freely because his hurt
Where are thise praises coming from?, because every one was against him 2 days ago
Rob I'm happy for mnqithi we excited a lot
Wooow coach l like the way you appreciate sundowns may God bless you coach l pray you coach Arrows
Love and appreciate you Coach❤❤.....

Last time when I was watching this show rulani was telling us that rowen Williams kids and his wife were crying hahaha 😆

@molepokgomotso8289 it's this guy who was hired as a director he is destroying sundown, motsipe is going to regret his decision.
Ihlakaniphile lendoda...Good lucky bhut omdala
Good decision by Sundowns,Rulani was better and manqoba was a down grade and in football we always want to upgrade.
Unlucky but still a great coach overall
Tribalism was at peak when u were with us .Our fellow supporters they referred you as "loyababa, maskandi coach, Brentwood coach. On the other hand Broos and media were on your case since u didn't play their favs....They hated the idea that you treated every player fairly and equally...you were fighting a losing battle from Day 1 coach even before pre season
I totally agree with you he was fighting a losing battle, even the Sundowns legends didn’t support him it wasn’t gonna be easy to succeed
true it is so sad COLD WAR between N1 vs N3.....one day iyobhekana ngeziqu zamehlo abanye bayokhohlwa iLIGHTNING

This is joke this guy doesnt have bmt he cant coach a big team so he shouldn't have been in that seat

Good Luck Coach
Very humble coach......
The criticism that he received social media led to this social media has become a horrible place its a slaughterhouse there
He was focusing on Kaizer Chiefs instead of doing his job at sundowns
No one is willing to tell thus man the truth .
It comes with the territory. The seat is hot at Sundowns.
You say that you did your best.. . Keep your head high.
South African soccer supporters are confused, now you are praising him but earlier on you were bullying him on social media
I am here asking myself the same question
di advert tsa mo....huuuuu he e
😂😂😂😂😂ubeka themba zwane ngaphandle 😂😂😂zawuphelelaphi Hombokolusa Nkomo Bhunti awunphinda fumani job kwi big team amazulu khona ityiwe unya
The insult? Is it necessary
@Thatsong-fr9nq he was though sundowns will never show him a door aft batyi kaizer chiefs ngobumenemene
The failure of Thulani is DE failure of D's one C's he ws DE part of DE team..am still asking my self y dey appoint D's arrogant coach
True Chippa they buttered him including Junior Khanye as if they love him, your only one person talking the truth here People knows how pretend as if they love Maqhoba and good luck Coach and God bless you.

manqoba is intelligent, good luck coach
Manqoba so humble
An end of an era they shouldve continued with coach Manqoba the three musketeers are now gone, theyve dismantled the whole structure in the whole history of Downs Ted Dumitru is probably the only foreign coach whos had an impact the rest were just collecting cheques, goodluck to coach Mnqithi
He is an average coach. Sundowns won because of their quality players.
Sundowns benefited from referees
If couch could have handled everything at sundowns the way he handled this interview his job could have been saved .
the reality is that those players are not good enough to win any coach the champions league.
Ohh but they were good enough for Bafana?
The management is forgetting that other teams have been improving.
For me I won’t say Manqoba is good for team like sundowns .. we aiming for good performance in club World Cup his selection was not good with long balls and ball circulation. But for him to be given a chance was good enough for his long service.kodwa ke his playin techniques is not our sundowns style of playing.. But truth be told he overstayed
It was a gift
😂
They give him time to manage his house well
All the best to you coach unlike for loosing your job
Sundowns they will regreat anywhere all the best coach
To be honest I listen to the interview from start to finish...With due respect I don't feel the Coach wanted to answer critical questions.e.g
1-What did Mudau and Mokoena do?to be left out?
2-Is he having a conversation with Golden Arrows?.
3.Who is actually responsible for firing our local coaches at Sundowns?
4.Lastly u can't sign a staggering 200 million players to try and win a 20 million bet way league.Maths is not adding up Bro Rob..kudliwa imali ya ka Motsepe period! This coach never shared any light on any fact..he sat on d fence as if he still need that job..makahambe!
Manqoba your own results sacked you magesi in the final Stellenbosch MTN home and away and CAF champions League
who cares, he wasn't fit for a team with this huge magnitude
Hope he joins Rhulani in Wydad
