▶ About Javed Ahmed Ghamidi:
Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

That is your view, it can very well be referred to the event of Hijrat from Mecca to Medina. The muhajareen who arrived there would have made a small masjid also that was the first operational masjid, and it was the Masjid far away in Medina.

Why it not mention in Hadith or Quran, It was a open ground with no building.
Second why it took whole night to travel mecca to Aqsa.
Why would Quran or Hadith mention the then condition of a place?
Second it didn't take whole night to travel from Makkah to Palestine but in dream it was shown to the Prophet (peace be upon him) for his consolation as those times were of great hardships.

Did Hazrat Umar build any Masjid on this mountain , I mean near to the Dome
Abd al malik built it.
Hazrat Omer offered prayer outside Al Aqsa complex and later on a masjid was constructed there. Masjid e Omer is out side that complex.

دور کی مسجد سے مراد مسجد نبوی ہے کہ یہ وہ مسجد ہے جہاں اللّٰہ تعالیٰ کی برکات دکھائی دیتی ہیں جبکہ مسجد اقصیٰ کے پاس تو مظالم دکھائی دیتے ہیں
مسجد نبوی ہجرت کے بعد وجود میں آئی واقعہ معراج ہجرت سے پہلے کا ہے

محترم غامدی صاحب ، اسکے اردگرد برکتیں نہیں ہیں ، لہذا سورۃ اسراء میں جس مسجد کا زکر ہے وہ اقصیٰ قرآن کی نشانی کے لہاظ سے مسجد نبوی بنتی ہے جہاں برکتیں ہی برکتیں ہیں ۔ غور طلب نکتہ ہے محترم یہ!!!
