Technically they all will bc of old age or the gravity storm it rises up everyday a bit
Not really. It is closer to "because we are going to die anyways."
Damn

this song is the DEFINITION of 'sounds happy until you learn the lyrics'
You can grieve over this tragedy
Or try to distract yourself
You’ll be dying anyway.
That good guy is going to die too
That bad guy is going to die too
In the same way, the same way, everyone will die
The town will die in the same way
Your gods will die in the same way
Every single one will die!
Every single one will die
And you too, will die eventually (so give up, alright?).

RIP Gravity Rush. Sony couldn't appreciate you for the pair of masterpieces you are, but I always will. PlayStation's last good exclusives.
Dreams?
Okay this is definitely not true you may be bitter but don’t let that take away from the other great exclusives out there. It is unfortunate and all we can hope is that they can some day continue the series.
@@wakkjobbwizard Spoken like a true shill. None of them are great. A fun little distraction at best, and a time-wasting chore to sit through at worst. Sony's exclusives conform to the worst possible game design trends of the western triple-A games industry.
Big, boring open worlds with mediocre gameplay masked by pretty visuals.
Faux-art projects belonging to pre-established franchises, gutting them of everything that made them unique and enjoyable. Some of which even preach to their audiences about political correctness, thus missing the entire point of the series they're a part of.
And an overabundance of walking sections and unskippable cinematics, forcing you to interact with the most boring aspects of real life. There's a reason films cut these moments out of their stories.
Yes, Sony has plenty of big names, and a quantity of exclusives. But they lack quality. They're overproduced, and don't excel at any one thing. And in an industry with plenty of other, more focused, imaginative and fun to play than any of Sony's current offerings on PS4 and 5, that's just not good enough.
Also do your research next time you bitch at me about this topic, because Gravity Rush's developers have long since left Sony's Japan Studios. They've formed their own dev team by now, and without the original visionaries behind the series, Gravity Rush will remain dead, unless Soniy decide to parade its corpse around and get another dev team to retool it as yet another game to be their political mouthpiece. At this point, I'd rather the series just stayed dead and be fondly remembered than be "revived" and totally desecrated in the process.
@@NintendanGX all of my favorite PlayStation exclusives are not open world though... and I disagree with everything you said and I think there are some brilliant ps exclusives.

And we can’t do a thing to change that.

Rest in Peace Gravity Rush, you was gone too soon.
This is the song that caused me to find Gravity Rush, and boy has it been amazing. I was watching a Ymfah video and wanted to know what this song was, I looked through the playlist and found it, gave it a listen and found people talking about this game that I'd never even heard of. And all of the comments were talking about it being a hidden gem.
So of course I did some research, and after being genuinely interested I bought both of them for my Ps4, the remaster and 2. I did not regret buying them, to be honest I wish I could play them for the first time again, these games are in my top favorite games of all time, they're so out of the ordinary and a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of games now a days.
I wish more games were like Gravity Rush.
This plays when the game ends! F***ing love this song! (≧∇≦)

Hey I'm really impressed by your transcription. I doubt I would have done anywhere near as good a job.
A few years back I actually made an attempt of transcribing the Katakana lyrics from the CD's booklet. It's not exactly easy, as the song's lyrics kinda go beyond what is comfortably written in katakana, but I thought you might want to see it anyway.
This is the lyrics from the booklet with the original formatting (spaces and line breaks):

Right off the bat, I can tell you that they are wrong. Not only because the Katakana do not distinguish between R and L, which the vocal clearly do, and that a lot of extra vowels are included, like in "p(u)ragos(u)", but also because some of the constructions are so esoteric, that I, with my limited experience, cannot hope to interpret them.
I've made an attempt in places like writing ビィ as "byi" and ルゥ/ブゥ as "rú/bú". I should say, I'm not even sure what "rú/bú" would be. My guess is that "ú" is pronounced [y] (like "u" in French and "ü" in German, in contrast to u being pronounced [u] like "ou" in French and "u" in German).
But some other stuff I have no idea what they are trying to convey with, like ダァ. And of course, just general mistakes I may have made. So just take all this as just food for thought, as most foods are best with a pinch of salt.
Oh right and I nearly forgot: I decided to mark the sokuon (ッ) with an apostrophe, when followed by a vowel or placed at the end of a word. I do not know whether it is supposed to be a glottal stop or not. It would make sense in a few places, as my native German does place glottal stops in between vowels, but that wouldn't explain all of its uses here, so I dunno how good a lead that really is.
@@urinstein1864 Thank you! I found this interesting to read because I like to see other perspectives on these lyrics. I see I made a few mistakes after reading your transliteration from the booklet. For example, I wrote “Aju ana” instead of “Aju an nu.” Although the katakana version may be a little messy, I will use it to compare with what I put.
well, wheres the cover?
@@jerboa-1979 I'll hopefully make one rather soon! I'm saving up to buy decent recording equipment for a future game channel and will probably do some covers here and there. It is on my mind often.

Pero no hay que preocuparse
Después de todo, te estás muriendo.
Cosas buenas, cosas malas

A voice to fall in love with
this isn't a real language? what? say what???? for a few months I've been listening but now taht I look at the comments its not a real language??? w h a t ??? this is beautiful
Lyrics aside, this sounds like a song that would play at the end of a Pixar movie
Never forget
This game definetly deserves a 3rd part, and kat in itz
Still as great as ever
Happy 1,000,000 Views!
My god...this track is just entrancing. I'm so glad I found it. I've never played Gravity Rush, but hot damn, it has an awesome soundtrack!
Pay it
Gravity Rush is one of my top all time favorite games. This credit music topped it off good.
I haven't played this game in a couple years and out of the blue, this song randomly came to mind and has been stuck since.
This ost is amazing.
juste for the curious, this song is inspired by the french jazzy and song of 40's.
and the "lyrics" is random, just made for sound like the "phrasé" (how a singger sing) of Edith Piaf and other old french singger ^^
Lyrics are real. There is japanese version and it has been translated to english.
This is actually kind of a new language, but of course not as well made as real languages.
RUclips recommendation system working fantastically
Might have to check these games out sometime later this year
Oh ya, definitely do check it out, it's an amazing experience and the 2 games of this franchise are almost always getting heavy discounts on ps+!
That was fantastic
Easily in my top 10

This was recommended by no reason but I love it
I always was more into XBOX and a bit into PC. Last month I bought PS Vita, because (next to Nintendo 3DS) it's the best handheld console on the market. I'm really happy with that purchase, but Gravity Rush game made me even happier. For real, guys, I recommend you all to get it. This game is so good, that it deserves to be remastered and released on 'big' consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3. Brilliant music, brilliant plot, brilliant cut-scenes and brilliants characters.
Your wish is granted
Lol I wonder if You played The remastered and GR2
From the context that I am getting, the song is basically about the inevitability of death whilst also enjoying our last moment.
If there were an exclusive saga of Sony that has to be taken to Nintendo even for a limited time, that would be Gravity Rush, because, in my opinion, it's one that would perfectly fit the portable and other capabilities of the Switch... it would be great to see Kat/Raven in Smash Ultimate, with a good list of songs, including Pleasure Quarter and Douse Shinundakara, for their stage (Hekseville/Pleajeune), and, of course, with their respective amiibo. Regards.
GR2 was barely running on PS4 - world is too detailed
Kat is prolly my most wanted character in smash to be honest
Controller drift would ruin the game for me
Got this stuck in my head , but it seems like it only wants to play for my left ear.
Legendary
Can't wait for this series to be on Steam
Is there gonna be a PC port anytime soon? Never seen anything about it getting released on Steam
Just beat this game, man was it fun though felt like it had many loose ends and a very anti climatic ending. I might be wrong, i might see way more in gravity rush 2.
But i gotta say, very unique experience, fantastic art direction and just some really cool ideas. Kicking myself for not playing it earlier.
Hope you liked the sequel, the games don't feel complete without each other.
@@retardedfishfrogs1 i'm about halfway in on 2, really not bad so far.
Definitely enjoying how much more substance is here.
@@ohgodwhy9853 so how’d it turn out?
@@alejandromomota6934 alot of things happened in my life on the side, and i have been busy with college up until recently graduating so i didn't get to finish Gravity Rush 2. Very sad about that honestly but it is what it is.
But from what i was able to play i would still highly recommend playing the 2nd game if you like the 1st.
If French and Japanese language merged this would be it chief
DUSTY!!!

UGH I LOVE THIS SONG
Temazo. Jajaja esto representa mi infancia.
Obvio master, viene de Gravity Rush
The title means "since we're all going to die anyway"
I clicked this by accident but I DON'T FUCKING REGRET A SHIT! GOD THIS IS GOOD!!!
Won't we ever hit those 1M views?
Play this song in my funeral
we are going to die, but that will come later, for now let's enjoy this
Here’s to hopes for Gravity Rush 3!! Also, happy 1 million views
Death, is beautifull.
If only it was released for more than the PSVita...
Such as maybe the PS4?
@@sumez4369 maybe even ps3,

@@ThatExplo Just to be clear, there is a PS4 version out there you can easily find :)
