I've stayed in Promenade room but on Independence- it's great. The only time I really heard anything was if they were having a Promenade performance a d it was muffled. I prefer it because I like the feeling of having activity going below me that I can see, it relaxes me and I don't worry about being in the middle of the ocean as much lol.
