- Sometimes you have to pray that the eye attack doesn't attack multiple students many times in order to clear this.
UE50 S.Hanako will definitely have different timing than UE40, keep that in mind.
This score can be optimized, i just attempted the Comfy run.
It was mock run because forgot to record when accidentally used my ticket.

Sharing my experience here, hopefully it'll help some people who struggle with this raid.
My current lineup is exactly as in this video, with T8 UE40 on all students except Ako (UE30) and Himari (UE40 unlocked, but her UE level is 30)
I run a bit of a different rotation, starting in the first phase at 1:01 - In this phase, you can save up to 8.5 cost then re-skill S.Hoshino > follows by Himari / Ako to Hanako. If you crit (malding, I know), you can save up to around 10-12s going into second phase early with 230x Boss HP. You can then immediately heal with Atsuko, Kikyou, then S.Hoshino, allowing for 3x EX from Hanako. After that it's pretty much up to the situation. Doing this gave me a better time of ~17 seconds left in my best runs.
For the side notes:
1. 3* Atsuko is sustainable IF you know your rotation and a have a bit of luck.
2. I find anything below UE40 for Himari impossible (without a stupid amount of malding, of course)
3. Give a bit of a wiggle room to your rotation. So if you adjust the rotation, for this raid specifically,
- Even with UE40+ Atsuko, it is sometimes better to just use her skill outside of the rotation to ensure survivability later in the second phase.
- You can usually push out two full Hanako rotations with one Kikyou EX. This means you don't have to spam Kikyou too often if you time your rotation.
- Try to aim your Hanako attack rotation during her Basic, but don't fix your rotation based on this alone.
- To the newcomers to the land of Insane, copying someone else's rotation directly may not work for you. It can work in Insane and above due to more fixed attacks of the boss. However, if you aren't aiming for the top leaderboard score (Just want to stay comfy in plat), only use the guide as a guideline, try the team and adjust your rotations. Most of the time, there are a lot more room for flexibility in rotating your students based many things.

Breakdown of the sequence of events in the video in text form, using EX, Cost and student skills as reference:
Start of raid
- Use Hoshino's then Atsuko EX as soon as possible.
- Use Kikyou's EX no later than 3;30.000. (As soon as possible is valid) Doing it any later will delay her Basic skill, which buffs Hanako and you do not want that.
=== Phase 1 cycle ===
- Use Hanako once and Ako her right away, slow the game if needed.
- Use Himari on Hanako as soon as possible.
- Use Hanako when as soon as possible, twice.

Wait until the first phantom attack.
- Start the Phase 1 cycle, this is done at 3;21.833. Personally I use when the phantoms start moving as reference.
- Use Atsuko's then Hoshino EX as soon as possible.
Wait until Kikyou casts her basic skill
- Use Kikyou's EX as soon as possible (When everyone gets the purple damage buff)
- Start the Phase 1 cycle, this is done at 2;37.633.
- After the second Hanako EX use, phase 2 starts. Do not use Hanako's skill a third time.
After phase 2 transition:
- Use Atsuko slightly after the transition, you might want to delay it a second or two if Kurokage is casting an attack on you. This is done at 2;22.333 (With cost 5 in bar).
- Use Hoshino slightly later as well when cost reaches 10 (2;01.333). Waiting for the current effect to expire will have you waiting with the cost bar full, avoid that.
- Use Kikyou when cost reaches 8 (2;01.333), you do not want too early or her defense debuff will expire earlier than expected. You can let it reach cost 10.
=== Phase 2 cycle ===
- Unlike phase 1, Ako and then Himari's buffs go before Hanako's EX, in short, use Ako, then Himari on Hanako, then use Hanako's EX thrice.
- You need to do this to max out as much damage as possible in all three uses to be able to trigger groggy.

Wait until Hanako uses her basic skill, and then instantly:
- Do the phase 2 cycle. Note: If you have a UE 50, 5 9 9 9 Hanako, this will not trigger groggy, but it will if she's fully maxed. Target less wisps (4) to avoid early groggy.
- As you have excess cost, use Atsuko's EX in-between Hanako's EX(s) if needed.
!!! Restart point !!!: If groggy bar isn't almost full, restart.
- If you haven't used Atsuko's EX yet, use it.
- Use Hoshino when cost reaches 10 (1;29.866) to cycle EX skills. Do not use Kikyou early, else her debuff duration won't match with the vulnerability state gained from groggy.
- Use Kikyou after cost reaches 8 (1;25.933). This will trigger groggy.
Groggy:
- Wait until Hanako uses her basic skill, then do the phase 2 cycle as soon as possible.
- After the phase 2 cycle, use Atsuko's EX as soon as possible.
- Use Kikyou when cost reaches 8 (00;50.633)
Wait until Hanako uses her basic skill, and then instantly:
- Do the phase 2 cycle. The first EX use should trigger phase transition.
After phase 3 transition:
- Use Hoshino as soon as possible if her effect has expired. This is done at almost 6 cost (0;37.200)
- !!! Optional !!!: Use Atsuko if your students are about to get confused. This might not be needed depending on RNG.
- Use Kikyou as soon as possible. Defense debuff lasts for 30 seconds, which is longer than the remaining duration of the fight by now.
Depending on how your team and Kurokage are, you can switch up Hoshino / Atsuko EX usages or even skip them.
Wait until Hanako uses her basic skill, and then instantly:
- Do the phase 2 cycle. Kurokage should be defeated by the second use.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong during my attempts because I'm following this guide as close as possible and Kurokage never gets groggy after the Kikyou EX like it does at 2:37
It could be you're not hitting the buff timer if your himari is not UE40. In the video the shanako ex at 2:12 won't be buffed by himari if she's not ue40 following the video's timing exactly.
@@timidgoldfish I do have Himari at UE40, so I still don't understand. Someone said I could be getting screwed by Hanako's damage range, or not getting enough crits with Hanako. Either way I gave up and settled on extreme.
@@Xfan17 Getting groggy immediately after kikyou EX is not required. As long as its not too far off, say you get groggy on hanako basic, continuing like the vid should be fine.
@@aekjfkljweare I've always waited just a little bit in case it happens but nope, groggy never happens until the first Hanako EX.
@@Xfan17 What happens after you continue from there? The video used one hanako EX to get to phase 3, but you can afford to use two, since she will draw another. Should have time for at least one EX for phase 3, that is enough for second team to cleanup if can't finish in one team.
My students are more built then the ones in this clear but its not working somehow

How are you getting S.Hanako so often in succession, like you just used her an she's there right after. Is that a mechanic I'm not familiar with?
Wait, I think that just how she works. I don't own her, so I guess I couldn't know. How insane is that?
Her Subskill has a charge mechanic that rely on the number of EX skills used (each other EX skill used gives 0.4 charges, max reserve at 2 charges, see it at S.Hanako HUD bar at the right), if there is atleast 1 charge when S.Hanako EX is used, it will consume that charge and get her EX card back on that position. If there is no charge, her EX will be used and no longer be brought back into the position, and went back into reserve EX pool.
i just got this video after trying many times on insane difficult. the maximum i reach in this stage is Kurokage’s hp is 8 million and there 30 second left till it finish

after watched your video, i am using same strategy and same rotation. but somehow i cant manage my student hp especially Atsuko, they sometimes died before Kurokage enter groggy state

that does impact the damage S.Hanako can make during the chain buffed EX damage dealing. But your Atsuko died even with UE50?
Hmm... maybe you can try sustaining more Atsuko EX, and try to time S.Hanako EX skill to use as fast as possible when she's buffed by Ako and Himari, to make use of every single DPS you have.

@@zatherog i'm not sure about it, but from what i've seen: Bluestack is more intensive in resources to have the smoother and more stable experience, while mumu is lighter, but reaches limit in stability.
2:24 how the fuck did Kikyou get a stack of Furin Kazan there? Why did S.Hoshino give her one wtf?
It's the timing. Kikyou got a Furin stack at a fixed time so there will be nothing affecting a stack(in other words, it's just a perfect timing moment)

is this impossible if I only have 4* atsuko?
I have seen people even passed this with 3* Atsuko, as long as you keep sustain healing in phase 2 (and not get multiple eyes attack on one student), you are fine.
2:38 all of my tanks retreated at that part by flame....but how can u survive? And how can ur tanks cancel the flame?

try not to get one student imtimidation value over 50% of HP (the removed HP bar).
If you are regarding about the eye attack, unfortunately it's RNG, you can only try to space out students to not let it hit twice.
3 star atsuko is enough?
the more star she has, the comfier the team becomes.
