@@OutThePack Hi Charlie! I hiked and completed the Tahoe Rim Trail, Lake Tahoe California/Nevada ( 200 miles/ 321 km) on Sept 4th. But developed knee pain on the downhill descent. The doctor asked me to rest my knees and got steroid shots. I would love to chat with you about the prep and trip - via e-mail?
@@OutThePack By the way I could have watched your video even if it was 4 hours long..you have a great knack for keeping the viewers calm and engaged! I look forward to your future adventures! Come and Hike/Backpack the Tahoe Rim Trail :)
Kaznzuri my friend! I feel your joy and pain😊. We summited via Lemosho in July this year and my experience from Baranco to Stella point (which never came!!) was exactly the same as yours, to the T. But what a life changing journey. Those porters and guides are true superhumans😍 and the high point of my trip. Mma Kilimanjaro 🙏🏼
😂 what was so tough in this trek ... Well being a guy from Himalayas this here is very easy for us too much easy. If this here feels tough to you then I don't think you will be able to trek in our mountains at all even half of trek . This is not a mountain for us this is walk in park which i can literally complete in single day go up and down without zero problems
Living at low altitude, it was tough, with longer to acclimatise I’d be able to do higher climbs! I bet living in the Himalayas means that your oxygen levels are amazing 🫡
Just watched the full doc with my family, and we were all glued to it. Incredible video man and glad I featured a good amount😂 Love from Spotify
Legend! Glad it was engaging❤️

Carry your own stuff
I was really driven to carry my own gear but when altitude sickness sets in you haven’t got the ability to do so without passing out!

Keep it clean and you will enjoy it. Mount everest is facing that problem. Kilimanjaro ⛰.
For sure, leave no trace🫡
